when I get what you said about the difference between "thin" and "thing" my mind blown up, completely. That was so awesome, I've never realized that difference between back and front, with the tongue sound. I think this lesson is the best one I've watched till now, because it's so simple, but it's so usefull and I would've never realized that by my own. Thank you so much keenyn, I love your youtube channel
Edevaldo, I think you may speak Portuguese (at least Saldanha sounds Portuguese). If so, the ng sound is very easy for you because you make it in the syllables endin in vowel+n or m.
Rogério Chamorro are you Brazilian too, man? Yeah, you're right, this is pretty similar to "sim" in brazilian portuguese, with a little difference in the throat maybe, but I found It exactly equal in portuguese from Portugal, what do you think?
It's a great video! Brazilian Portuguese don't have NG sound, so It's very hard for Brazilians, like me, to notice the difference between that sound and N sound. Actually, I've even didn't know that sound exists until now. Thanks Keenyn for this video. It's very useful.
I have no idea how I could faced with your UA-cam channel , But I am so happy that I have subscribed and tap the Bell icon to get immediate notifications when you upload new videos. You are simply a great teacher wherever you are living ,hence you are living in our heart either. I seriously either love you & your teaching methods . Immense love and appreciation .
Keenyn, thank you so much and nice to see you again. Wow! what a very useful and helpful lesson to me and probably for many other learners. You are right, I´m one of those many non native speakers that make the common errors you mentioned when pronouncing NG with G sound. Yes indeed, I have to follow your instrucctions and practice a lot to get those sounds improved. The fantastic, neat, clear and beautiful way you covered this lesson really makes it a pleasant and easy task, motivating and encouraging me to do all the repetitions needed. Fabulous tips. I definitely enjoy each of your lessons very much.
Thank you Jose Abelardo Perez Vargas! What a wonderful comment!!😊 I am so glad this lesson as helpful for you and I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a kind and detailed comment! I hope future lessons continue to help you meet your speaking goals! My very best wishes to you! 🤗💕
Keenyn, I appreciatte your words very much and thank you for being so kind and warm. Wish you a great weekend. Looking forward to seeing you pretty soon in a new wonderful and hepful lesson of yours. Best regards.
Hi. OMG. Just when I thought I was doing everything right. I keep learning new things. In words like Bank( in my effort to pronounce properly) I was making the sound of N and then the K sound. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until I practice this lesson. Now the work Bank is so much easier to pronounce. Leave it to me to make new mistakes LOL. Thanks( this one too) lol
OMG! It's so helpful and so new for me. I learn English 20 years (it's my third language) and I have never had any idea about difference between N and NG sounds 🤦🏽♀️ We say "g" in "sing" not because we release the tongue early but because we don't know how to make difference with "sin" But now I know, thank you so much. I am not sure it sounds good when I try to pronounce it, but the knowing of theory means a lot!
hello teacher.... you have the best way of teaching the English language, in fact you're teaching the English in a scientific way, and also not to mention the easy style 2 learn and understand. you are amazing I really love you..
Perfect explanation! I was helping a student with this sound today and your description will be so useful to him. I love all of your videos and recommend them to my students every day. Thank you for such a great channel!
Hi Keenyn!!! This lesson is very helpful for me, because I didn’t know how to pronounce words like thing, tongue, sung.... I’m guilty 🙈 until today I used to say all the words you explained, with the ending g sound 😬 but I’m gonna to improve my speaking skill after watching and practicing these words. You rock!!!
i followed several teachers on youtube, for pronunciation teaching, I reckon keenyn i really the best of the best, clear both in teaching and articulating the voicing by telling you how to place the tongue and lip in the right position. I suggest advanced learners to stay tuned with keenyn. u can't miss it if you want to speak like native americans
Hi keenyn I happy to see you again I think this topic is very important because a lot of people who couldn't understand it . now for them it's easy thanks you for your help
Your way of teaching pronouncing words with designated endings or suffices is excellent, particularly comparing them with words with similar structural difference helps non natives in memorizing & get used to the technique!😁😆 Cheers from H.K Thanks a lot!
Very useful, for long I knew there is a difference between N and NG, NK at the end of a syllable, but did not know how to make these sounds until watching this lesson. More I watch this lesson more I can distinguish clearly them. I appreciate your works and thanks a lot to you

Sing is the same prounciation of the word "Sim" in Portuguese, which means yes. Very interesting.
Alejandro Ruiz I am from south of Brazil, man. Yeah this is Very easy, but I had never realized the difference
Rogério Chamorro are you Brazilian too, man? Yeah, you're right, this is pretty similar to "sim" in brazilian portuguese, with a little difference in the throat maybe, but I found It exactly equal in portuguese from Portugal, what do you think?
