Does Removing DB Killer Affect Jawa Mileage & Performance?
Will the mileage decrease? Or remain the same?
Let's find out from my experience as I did the mileage calculation riding it for about 1200 km in the mountains with db killers setting altered for maximum exhaust sound. Has my Jawa 42's mileage decreased, or remained same? Let's find out!

Devbhai..you have no rusting issue because you have done ceramic coating on your bike... everyone does not afford it....if many people are saying about it....then it must be true... company should address these issues asap... it's classic retro bike....then it must remain classic retro bike for years to come...that type of build quality is expected from jawa... btw 2 lac is not a small amount for average Indian....they rightly expect good quality bike from jawa....

Did u adjust ur DB killer to get this exhaust note? at which level? and some guys are saying that, You cannot claim the warranty if u adjust or remove ur db killer. Is it true? Anyone who is talking about the rusting issue please know that Royal Enfield is using the premium quality anti corrosive coating by Berger paints, but in case of JAWA the coat used is not that superior quality.

I'm definitely going to wait for new R.E. 350 to b launched even though I very much like Jawa Classic. It's design, engine, seat height, weight etc r very perfect for short rider like me.... Its love at first sight but poor build quality... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

There is heat sense in foot due to radiator exhaust fan.. Which have 4 open in all direction...did you faced any heating in your legs? Can we alter that radiator fan???
Yea bro. Heat comes out of the radiator pretty intensely. But that's the placement of the radiator.

A issue i have heard about jawa recently, that within a two months after delivery, it got rusted heavily. And the water got saturated in odometer as well.. Can you please justify this as well as you have used your bike in monsoon as well.. About the rust effect on bike.. Please?

This absolutely wrong guidance. The sound gets reduced as I push the db killer inside. Now I have to remove the exhaust to push the dbkiller to normal position

Hi Dev, I have removed DB killers cap and set it to the max sound setting. In the city, I am just getting 25 kmpl , which is way too low than what others get. Your average i.e 37 and 41), seems like a dream number for me. Is DB killers CAP a reason behind that? Also, my jawa doesn't pull that great anymore and I can only reach max speed till 95 (with pillion). This is really making me doubt my machine. Can you please help me on this with some clarification and tips. Also recently watched a video on Mritunjay vlogs channel, in which he talked about how removing the caps creates engine missing problem. Please suggest do I need to get the cap back on DB killers or something else could be the reason behind my bikes mileage and top speed.

I don't recommend you to change those setting, here are the few issues which I found(its in contrast with when you change the setting vs keeping it same ) :
1. Bike engine will turn of smtimes in low gear and in low rpms) with sudden jerk!
2. I noticed the acceleration gets degraded if you change the setting.
3. There was a mileage difference of around 3-4km for me (which is huge)
Because of these reasons I got it fixed back to the factory setting.
@@neerajbuyyani6319 Also I want to mention that all the issues mentioned above got resolved once I got it reverted to the original setting.
I was able to reach 120 (with pillion) with ease.
Acceleration now seems way punchy.
and mileage also increased, though for some reason I am still not getting great mileage (getting around 27-30 with pillion in city) , maybe Bangalore traffic is the reason.
