    Hi Constance,
I totally agree, I’d rather have more storage space than a dishwasher.
It’s just my husband and I.
I love your storage space, the fabric is really pretty. That can shelving is so
    smart, great idea!
What a great blessing to be gifted all
    that great/free wood, yay!!
Thanks for sharing how you can your
peppers, I’ve never used a steam
canner, but really like the idea of it
being easier than the water bath
    huge pots of hot water.
Enjoyed your video, God bless you sweet friend. ♥️ xxx

🌻 Your shelves look great! Great find on the wood! I just pickled jalapeños and dehydrated ghost peppers for the hubby. I had the gloves, glasses and mask on cutting the ghost peppers...wowza!!

The can rack is such a great idea...I don't know how many times I have founds a can behind something that is expired, great way to use space as well. My peppers are doing so good, I'm definitely going try the pickled peppers, they look and sound delicious!

Thank you for a great video, this is my first time to can pepperoncini so wasn't sure if it was the same as other peppers.

I completely agree with you on the whole dishwasher thing. Hate them . I actually feel a sense of accomplishment when I'm done knowing they are cleaned correctly lol. With my sweat equity. 😉

Hi Constance, that rack is ingenious! And I LOVE the ceiling.... Major score!! On the wood..... When I saw it all I was like dannggggg!! 🤣😅 I have so many banana peppers and shishiito peppers, could they be used with your crockpot beef recipe too??

    • @CosmopolitanCornbread

Banana peppers, certainly! I have never used shishito, so I am not sure about the flavor. But...maybe? LOL

I’ve been thinking about getting rid of the dishwasher in my house, and now you’ve inspired me to do it, it hasn’t been used in 15 years, time to go !! Maybe you could extend your kitchen somehow, OR a she shed!! With all your vegetables, I’m wondering if you have a green thumb?? 😁

Omg!!! I love your can rack! Im working on reorganizing my pantry and kitchen. Cans take up so much room! I’d love to make this. Are there specific building plans? Im not great with a drill but I can do somethings.

I agree with you on the dishwasher! I'm wondering about the steam canner. Why could you not do the same with a regular kettle with just a little water in the bottom? It must be something about the design.

    • @CosmopolitanCornbread
      @CosmopolitanCornbread  4 роки тому

The steam canner has a vent in the back, and to safely can, it has to reach a specific temperature internally. That is not something you could properly monitor with a kettle.

Where did you get your peppercinis seed I've had trouble finding them

I ordered them from Baker Creek, but I ordered them back in the winter --- Dec or Jan. They are currently out of stock, but you can sign up for notifications when they have something back in.
