Make sure that you place traps near the lake for winter time, the cannibals, mutants, demons, will come over the water during the winter time.
> Study the attitude indicator on the glider handle. The glider is not actually using any kind of real flight physics other than gaining speed in a dive and stalling if you lose all forward speed. If the green dot is square in the middle of the green ring you are level; not gaining or losing altitude or speed. If the dot is above the ring you are angled up and gaining altitude. Keep your climb angle shallow and you will reach a stable speed and gain altitude for ever. A bug or lack of understanding of flight dynamics on the Devs' part? - unknown but it works.
> The turtles only spawn in particular shore areas. There are also river turtles that yield the same shell, but they also only spawn in particular areas of the streams and ponds. Remember where you finally find them because they do respawn.

For the spear thrower, put one outside your compound (or inside) make a chocking point with walls or obstacles in a straight line. Put 2 spear racks beside the machine and when they come charging in let "Betty" do her job. If I'm right you won't be needing the other traps ever again

BTW. The golf cart is an excellent weapon. Don't use it to run away if you can use it for vehicular violence.

The last building takes 6 solafite to "activate" but you'll have to figure out what it does, just need the mining pick, you don't have to beat the game first. Can't wait to see the fiery chaos with all the leaf traps

The mineral dig sites are mostly pointless for you until you have the ability to mine and use the gold stuff. Not going to say what it does, but it is quite an upgrade.

I've not played the game before, but you said the cultists at the boats to "blow it up." and the circle on the map on the east side. So the hole where the excavators are, do you need to blow open a hole to go deeper into the cave?
