- In this video, Jaime munguia is seen training for his upcoming clash against Saul Canelo Alvarez May 4th at the T mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This is the first time A Mexican vs Mexican will face off for the super middle weight belt at 168lbs in the 40 year history of the division. Jaime Munguia is training alongside hall of fame trainer Freddie roach at the famous Wildcard boxing gym.

Munguia outshined Benavidez in their last fights because he KO'd Ryder and Canelo couldn't whereas Benavidez couldn't KO Plant and Canelo KO'd Plant.

Mungia has a chance, he’s younger, fresher, and hungrier. However, unless he dominates the whole fight like Bivol did, he’s likely to get screwed on the cards. 115-114 Bivol?! 😂😂😂😂 Mungia needs a KO to win.
@@ems8602 I favor Canelo vs all at super middle but Munguia looks 2nd best based on his last fight. Yeah, Canelo's looking tired. I don't think Munguia's best bet is winning rounds tho because Canelo's much more skilled. Munguia's best bet seems to be to impose the monstrosity of strength he displayed vs Ryder because that's Canelo's biggest weakness at this late point in his career.

Dude needs to work on the defense not offense roach is a great offensive coach but he doesn’t know how to really improve a fighters defense even roach himself when he boxed had horrible defense. Munguía needed to go with someone that’s going to teach him how to stay away from trouble. We already know he has good offense and punch output even when loosing
