I agree, I actually hate the new jump animation, it’s honestly just bad and it looks dumb. Fortnite needs to understand that they shouldn’t try to fix things that aren’t broken, like the animations

It's not crazy to have two types of movement in the game, if you want the new movement just play chapter 6, it's really that simple. Epic needs to realise that all people want is for the game to be exactly the same way it was back then, people coming back to play do not want the things in the game like the fast paced movement and realistic looking graphics which drove them to quit playing the game in the first place.
@@Young_Ronin the graphics and the new movement along with the maps that gradually got worse after chapter 1, updates that were too frequent to the point where you couldnt get used to anything in the game anymore as it would be gone next week, the dilution of the value of skins as epic released more and more making them less significant and huge fortnite streamers quitting the game as it wasn't fun anymore literally due to these reasons are definitely the reason OG people quit, me being one of them.
Ima be honest, the graphics back then and now are actually really good. I can understand why people quit the game. But it still won’t be perfect OG Fortnite. Its just not possible. There are still gonna be sweats in the game. Your already know whats coming in the game. That nostalgic feeling will only last for a bit until you get tired of all of it again.

I think one thing that made OG fortnite so much fun and something people underestimate is that everyone was pretty bad at the game which made for funny moments and made it so you had to really try to win and a way epic can make this happen again is by removing turbo building also, as this will force people to re learn what it was like to have no turbo building, and then add it back in when it was originally added in Season 3.

I think bringing back the slower pace and old movement will also just make OG Fortnite more casual, as the newer players want to (hopefully) just stick to the new seasons.
Exactly, people say it would be too slow but that's exactly the point. It wouldn't be that slow but it would slow down the pase of the game a bit so that it would be better for more casual players. If they want to play fast paced we have chapter 6 and reload. Modes designed around more fast paced gameplay. Not every fortnite mode needs to be the exact same
Yeah exactly, the problem with Fortnite now a day is that it’s too fast paced. It’s become like a Warzone/Apex game. Fortnite used to be very tactical and strategic when the game was slower paced, you had to plan ahead for the storm, building was a defense mechanism and you could use it to build bases, positioning mattered tactically because there were places that gave you advantages over the other teams. Fortnite was also way more fun because there weren’t any bots, but at the same time the skill gap wasn’t massive because people hadn’t yet learned to become sweats with turbo build and editing. If they bring back the old movement and building mechanics and everything, that would be an automatic nerf which would make the game way more fun and a lot closer to what it used to be like even though people are better at the game now. The other issue with the game is all the mythic weapons. They’re overpowered and a lot of them aren’t guns. Now you can say well the guns at the start of Fortnite were all overpowered, true, but they were common, everyone could have them, and there weren’t overpowered swords with even more movement options to make gun play even more useless. Back in Chapter 1 all the guns were good because all of them were overpowered and everyone had an equal chance of having the same powerful load out. Now if you pick up an average weapon you’ll be screwed by a new gen sweat kid who grabbed a katana with 3x movement speed. I just miss the simplicity of the game and everyone having an equal opportunity at having a fair chance to win by skill without being destroyed by some 10 year old kid who hasn’t touched grass in 3 years and uses only mythic weapons and triple edits. The addition of bots was supposed to make it more fair for people to win who were at the bottom or middle of the skill spectrum, but when all you do is play against bots, it feels unrewarding to win, and the second you fight a real player you’re screwed. There would be no need for bots if they simply brought back the old gameplay mechanics which would nerf the sweats and decrease the skill gap.

@caydencampbell3069 yes it did but this time I want an accurate OG experience. And I speak for a lot of people when I say that. They do speed up the pace of the game and they can change how fights are fought so I'd rather just have complete OG movement for an og mode
i agree, the og movement fits the map, fits the game and is a part of fortnite its oringal cartoonisch style, if they bring oringal movement back, you would see me playing fortnite all day again
I see so many kids on these videos relating to OG Fortnite, and they are always like, "iTs jUsT nOstAlgiA!!!1!/!1" and "yoUr JuSt bAd aT tHe gAmE!!!1//1?!" My point is, if Epic Games continues to promote this OG Mode as, "OG-OG" (meaning they are going all out on the original atmosphere of the game) then they should add back the original mechanics and features, and not their retarded new mechanics.
When I heard "OG OG" and saw all of the old features like Double Pump (A literal bug) returning, I thought thinks like the movement and graphics would be returning as well. But it looks like Epic chose the route of bringing back the old lootpool and map. I hope they eventually change this, as these are things a lot of players are looking for in a REAL OG gamemode.
To be clear, the "OG graphics" are being replicated here, it's not going to be perfect, but an exact copy is impossible since it was running on a different engine.

I'm just disappointed in the new things in fortnite. I play Save the World a lot and I hate the fact they brought the new movement there too. Every time I jump as a ninja that falling animation makes me so angry. In battle royale I hate how people can just spam mantling until they take high ground. The main things that annoy me most about the game in its current state are: Movement, graphics, the creative clutter, and I the clutter of the skins/any items in shop. If they could just bring back the OG menu where you load into whatever I would love that, just clears a lot of the clutter from loading in. Great video though, I know my response isn't fully related to the video but I need to share my frustration.

i think new movement would work for no build to actually maneuver the map ( the map wasn’t made for not building) but builds definitely should have og movement
Definitely. But I'd love to see the og animations on both modes, as the newer ones, are smooth, but just aren't as satisfying and sensible as the originals.
Yeah it's watered down to this. You can't play No Build without a movement system like the new one or it'd be a pretty bad experience. However Build should 100% have og movement, the game was already designed perfectly to fit back then, so adding a modern mechanic makes no sense.

I'm very happy for the big return of OG, but sadly there are problems that might look small but they are very big and epic needs to fix them: 1. OG movement needs to return, new movement doesn't have to exist in OG, OG is a gamemode that shows the how the fortnite looked in 2017-2019 with OG weapons, icons etc. new movement is one of the biggest problems there (also with moving while healing and sprinting because they didnt exist in OG) 2. New graphics aren't too bad but they need to return the cartoon graphics to feel more the OG fortnite 3. In the OG pass they must add v-bucks on it because many people who love OG pass are spending their v-bucks on it and they might be broke. This must be the worst problem 4. They need to make every weapon icon to OG 5. They have to return the OG emote spin wheel as well 6.They need to remove bots 7.They need to bring back the health bar at middle 8.And many other things and all details OG fortnite problems are not the only serious problems in the game, there are many else problems even serious epic need to fix (like new locker, new itemshop etc). But OG which is the real fortnite we all know needs to be fixed for the players. The most important thing is that we dont need the game to fall, ALL the community needs to report these problems as soon as possible and as much as they can everywhere so the game will be really be saved or it will be worthy of his fate

But that might just be because I never expected a full return to the “OG” experience, it’s pretty much impossible to do that when the game is running on a new engine and players are much more skilled. I agree on EVERY single thing u just said. Og movements needs to be back aswell. With double pump, if og movement dont come back, as u said, only 10 players will be left in only like 5 mins. That would completely destroy de purpose of the game
@@Gingersdadit wasn’t a problem because it was only a month long. Season OG was just the map and loot so we were just happy to see them back for the first time in a while. Now they are bringing it back permanently and advertising it as “OG OG” so it only makes sense to.
I really hope OG movement comes back. Ever since the movement changed happened some time ago, I started to not enjoy the game. I’m for a more simplistic experience.
Besides the old movement animations, I really want them to fix the Scar and Pistol models. They're still stuck with the Chapter 2 models. People are saying there will be an update before Friday for the mode but I haven't seen a source myself, so I'm worried they won't fix it. I'll still really enjoy the mode, there's just very small things they need to make it truly perfect.
I agree, 90% of the player base isn’t on social media to know about OG movement not being included, but once they log in and see that it’s still the horrendous new animation, it’s going to cause a riot and be a huge turn off. All I'm saying is, if OG has a zero build mode, I better be able to sprint, slide, and mantle. Old animations are fine, but I've played since the beginning, and I'd much rather this as to me it's a quality of life change.
I agree 100%! Sprinting, Sliding and Mantling are are Required for Fortnite Now. They are QOL and needed. We can get rid of the other stuff though. They are just fancy and have very little use.
I remember that in the end game, 4-5 people were existing in a tiny safe zone, without the og movement sweats are going to speedrun the mid-game and destory the entire experience
What I want: Sprint, mantle, slide, with OG animation. What I don't want: The Ch6 movement additions, the Ch5 animation changes. What will probably happen: We get sprint, mantle and slide without the Ch6 additions, but we get stuck with the Ch5 animation changes (jumping now looks different as well).

I would prefer OG, if they are truly going OG, they shouldn't half-ass things. Remove the bugs obviously. Really the only current movement I wouldn't mind is sprinting, and that's it. Mantling and sliding is stupid.
Imo sliding should be added only in zero build, to make more dynamic fights and add more difficult mechanics, because fortnite gunplay on its own is bs and I personally love sliding in fights.
People arguing “you are just afraid of change” not realizing that having new slop in the og mode is completely against the point of the og mode. Not to mention technical issues with tac sprint being hard to hit due to the way old weapons used to handle due to bloom

I personally want the og movement, I feel like because its been a year with the new movement change people just forget the old movement wasn't even bad nor slow. I feel like people forget they can just add in things to make movement quicker like rifts, vehicles (shopping cart), etc etc.. The map will only be there for a month and we'll eventually get to the seasons that first introduced these mobility items.
Og needs to have the original movement, it would return the nostalgic cartoony feel everyone truly wants, and automatically disable turbo build, it would make building more difficult which could help reduce the "sweaty" feel that is in reload but also give that old vibe where building was used to be defensive or get from point A to point B rather than an offensive tool.

Makes sense why one would want OG movement. It's OG, has old sounds, wants to simulate the OG experience. Old movement makes sense. Otherwise immersion is broken.

People get so easily blinded by nostalgia it’s hilarious. They can literally revert the game to the exact version it was in chapter 1 and people would still complain. They don’t realize that the mechanics of the game moved on and improved for a reason, and going back to the old stuff isn’t going to feel the same regardless of whether or not it’s identical.

I honestly feel the opposite way. OG needs the Chapter 3 movement in order to succeed. The older movement is just too slow for modern games and with the bland and empty season 1 map the game would not survive compared to Chapter 6. The Chapter 3 movement is just an objective improvement. We already can disprove some of these statements, like the map being too small for these features. The Chapter 4 map was even smaller and worked perfectly with them, and Season OG worked perfectly fine with these feature as well. It was honestly more fun to keep them in than to take them out. While features like Wall Jumping, Ledge Jumps, and Rolls are defiantly not suited for the Chapter 1 map, Mantling, Sprinting, and Sliding are just QOL features that could work on any map. Now, if by OG movement, you mean the animations, those should come back, but Mantling, Sprinting, and Sliding are just objective improvements and I'm glad they've been confirmed for the mode.

Its not gonna be the same. You can add the map, ui, models, and wtv other og stuff you want but the game will NEVER play the same. People mastering the building and editing mechs means that the skill gap is way bigger than it was back in the day and that will deter ppl who havent played in years from staying on.
it isn't just the og movement, I miss the old slightly janky animations, the old calming lighting with the excessive bloom on the ui markers, the old daylight cycle, and the old defaults.
I think Epic needs to make a clean slate for OG, get rid of turbo building for it, re-incorporate SBMM, and honestly roll out more polls when they see an unhappy community.

Yes! I want it to feel like it did, I'm okay with some slight graphical changes, but something as crucial as movement to be completely different will kind of ruin the experience. I want OG to feel like you found an old game cartridge and you can replay just how you left it, instead of it being a remake that's close enough but feels wrong. They should have it as close to the original as they can, changing some things here and there would ruin that feeling unless very minor and doesn't affect players too much. Also as you mentioned in the video, it would completely ruin the pace of the game and confuse returning players on why the OG mode has non-OG movement. Double pump is coming back and I'm glad, even though it is OP but now it'll be worse as players will be able to sprint up to you and double pump you or climb your buildings. I don't understand why they wouldn't bring back the old movement as I feel like the 'OG mode' should have most things, especially things as important as movement, be OG.

I would understand them complaining about all of this if it happened during the first season OG, since there was no other battle royale to play, but now since it is a separate game mode, they can go play chapter 6 season 1. And besides, the competitive players somehow played the game and managed without sprinting then (all of chapter 1 I mean, not just season 1, and also chapter 2) so I just don't get it, also they changed the weapon damage completely too, grey pumps can one shot, so why wouldn't they just change movement too?

No matter how much we want the og movement to come back. We would struggle a LOT. And also because people nowadays (even OGs) sweat their butt and are ready to fight other squads even when the storm is chasing their tail, they would be annoyed to find their way out of the storm. If you still don't understand me, think of that day when you launched fortnite excited to play chapter 5 and discovered the slow turtle chapter 5 movement. It was BAD. I agree they should bring back the old jog walk but they should a 100% keep sprinting and mantling.

Talking about 10 people before zone even closing, it's really true, whenever I'm playing the lobby is just 20-30 people at the moment the storm starts closing in, the game is just too fast paced and too sweaty. I hope they add ranked so the sweats can just go and sweat there instead of normal BR
I don’t mind the sprinting, sliding, etc. but I’d really really like the original running animation. Because the whole point of the mode is to be the OG of the OG. Meaning everything is OG. Same thing with the hud ui. And it’s not impossible for epic to do because creative maps have the old hud. Basically it’s not just the map that makes it og, it’s a bunch of little things TOGETHER that makes the whole og experience
I think something that OG Fortnite did better than any map was strategizing where to drop. Because movement was a lot slower, it was very important to land near the middle to ensure you can make it to the circle unscathed. Land further out however, sure you might get the whole POI to yourself, but now you have to run further. Whereas today it doesn't really matter because of movement items such as the Typhoon Blade and vehicles. I understand why people may not like that, it is very unforgiving, but to me that was the beauty of it. I'm still really enjoying the new maps and guns. But sometimes I just want it simple and straight to the point.
the biggest thing i hate about the new movement is how much micro movement i have to press while playing. like non stop button mashing all game just to move around effectively

It's not crazy to have two types of movement in the game, if you want the new movement just play chapter 6, it's really that simple. Epic needs to realise that all people want is for the game to be exactly the same way it was back then, people coming back to play do not want the things in the game like the fast paced movement and realistic looking graphics which drove them to quit playing the game in the first place.

@@Young_Ronin the graphics and the new movement along with the maps that gradually got worse after chapter 1, updates that were too frequent to the point where you couldnt get used to anything in the game anymore as it would be gone next week, the dilution of the value of skins as epic released more and more making them less significant and huge fortnite streamers quitting the game as it wasn't fun anymore literally due to these reasons are definitely the reason OG people quit, me being one of them.
Ima be honest, the graphics back then and now are actually really good. I can understand why people quit the game. But it still won’t be perfect OG Fortnite. Its just not possible. There are still gonna be sweats in the game. Your already know whats coming in the game. That nostalgic feeling will only last for a bit until you get tired of all of it again.

I think one thing that made OG fortnite so much fun and something people underestimate is that everyone was pretty bad at the game which made for funny moments and made it so you had to really try to win and a way epic can make this happen again is by removing turbo building also, as this will force people to re learn what it was like to have no turbo building, and then add it back in when it was originally added in Season 3.

Exactly, people say it would be too slow but that's exactly the point. It wouldn't be that slow but it would slow down the pase of the game a bit so that it would be better for more casual players. If they want to play fast paced we have chapter 6 and reload. Modes designed around more fast paced gameplay. Not every fortnite mode needs to be the exact same
Yeah exactly, the problem with Fortnite now a day is that it’s too fast paced. It’s become like a Warzone/Apex game. Fortnite used to be very tactical and strategic when the game was slower paced, you had to plan ahead for the storm, building was a defense mechanism and you could use it to build bases, positioning mattered tactically because there were places that gave you advantages over the other teams. Fortnite was also way more fun because there weren’t any bots, but at the same time the skill gap wasn’t massive because people hadn’t yet learned to become sweats with turbo build and editing. If they bring back the old movement and building mechanics and everything, that would be an automatic nerf which would make the game way more fun and a lot closer to what it used to be like even though people are better at the game now. The other issue with the game is all the mythic weapons. They’re overpowered and a lot of them aren’t guns. Now you can say well the guns at the start of Fortnite were all overpowered, true, but they were common, everyone could have them, and there weren’t overpowered swords with even more movement options to make gun play even more useless. Back in Chapter 1 all the guns were good because all of them were overpowered and everyone had an equal chance of having the same powerful load out. Now if you pick up an average weapon you’ll be screwed by a new gen sweat kid who grabbed a katana with 3x movement speed. I just miss the simplicity of the game and everyone having an equal opportunity at having a fair chance to win by skill without being destroyed by some 10 year old kid who hasn’t touched grass in 3 years and uses only mythic weapons and triple edits.
The addition of bots was supposed to make it more fair for people to win who were at the bottom or middle of the skill spectrum, but when all you do is play against bots, it feels unrewarding to win, and the second you fight a real player you’re screwed. There would be no need for bots if they simply brought back the old gameplay mechanics which would nerf the sweats and decrease the skill gap.

When I heard "OG OG" and saw all of the old features like Double Pump (A literal bug) returning, I thought thinks like the movement and graphics would be returning as well. But it looks like Epic chose the route of bringing back the old lootpool and map. I hope they eventually change this, as these are things a lot of players are looking for in a REAL OG gamemode.

To be clear, the "OG graphics" are being replicated here, it's not going to be perfect, but an exact copy is impossible since it was running on a different engine.

I'm just disappointed in the new things in fortnite. I play Save the World a lot and I hate the fact they brought the new movement there too. Every time I jump as a ninja that falling animation makes me so angry. In battle royale I hate how people can just spam mantling until they take high ground. The main things that annoy me most about the game in its current state are: Movement, graphics, the creative clutter, and I the clutter of the skins/any items in shop. If they could just bring back the OG menu where you load into whatever I would love that, just clears a lot of the clutter from loading in. Great video though, I know my response isn't fully related to the video but I need to share my frustration.

Yeah it's watered down to this. You can't play No Build without a movement system like the new one or it'd be a pretty bad experience.
However Build should 100% have og movement, the game was already designed perfectly to fit back then, so adding a modern mechanic makes no sense.

I'm very happy for the big return of OG, but sadly there are problems that might look small but they are very big and epic needs to fix them:
1. OG movement needs to return, new movement doesn't have to exist in OG, OG is a gamemode that shows the how the fortnite looked in 2017-2019 with OG weapons, icons etc. new movement is one of the biggest problems there (also with moving while healing and sprinting because they didnt exist in OG)
2. New graphics aren't too bad but they need to return the cartoon graphics to feel more the OG fortnite
3. In the OG pass they must add v-bucks on it because many people who love OG pass are spending their v-bucks on it and they might be broke. This must be the worst problem
4. They need to make every weapon icon to OG
5. They have to return the OG emote spin wheel as well
6.They need to remove bots
7.They need to bring back the health bar at middle
8.And many other things and all details
OG fortnite problems are not the only serious problems in the game, there are many else problems even serious epic need to fix (like new locker, new itemshop etc). But OG which is the real fortnite we all know needs to be fixed for the players. The most important thing is that we dont need the game to fall, ALL the community needs to report these problems as soon as possible and as much as they can everywhere so the game will be really be saved or it will be worthy of his fate

Besides the old movement animations, I really want them to fix the Scar and Pistol models. They're still stuck with the Chapter 2 models.

I agree 100%! Sprinting, Sliding and Mantling are are Required for Fortnite Now. They are QOL and needed. We can get rid of the other stuff though. They are just fancy and have very little use.
I remember that in the end game, 4-5 people were existing in a tiny safe zone, without the og movement sweats are going to speedrun the mid-game and destory the entire experience
What I want: Sprint, mantle, slide, with OG animation.
What I don't want: The Ch6 movement additions, the Ch5 animation changes.
What will probably happen: We get sprint, mantle and slide without the Ch6 additions, but we get stuck with the Ch5 animation changes (jumping now looks different as well).
There was no sprint, mantle or slide in OG and it shouldn't be in the OG mode in any way whatsoever.

I personally want the og movement, I feel like because its been a year with the new movement change people just forget the old movement wasn't even bad nor slow. I feel like people forget they can just add in things to make movement quicker like rifts, vehicles (shopping cart), etc etc.. The map will only be there for a month and we'll eventually get to the seasons that first introduced these mobility items.
Og needs to have the original movement, it would return the nostalgic cartoony feel everyone truly wants, and automatically disable turbo build, it would make building more difficult which could help reduce the "sweaty" feel that is in reload but also give that old vibe where building was used to be defensive or get from point A to point B rather than an offensive tool.

People get so easily blinded by nostalgia it’s hilarious. They can literally revert the game to the exact version it was in chapter 1 and people would still complain. They don’t realize that the mechanics of the game moved on and improved for a reason, and going back to the old stuff isn’t going to feel the same regardless of whether or not it’s identical.

I honestly feel the opposite way. OG needs the Chapter 3 movement in order to succeed. The older movement is just too slow for modern games and with the bland and empty season 1 map the game would not survive compared to Chapter 6. The Chapter 3 movement is just an objective improvement. We already can disprove some of these statements, like the map being too small for these features. The Chapter 4 map was even smaller and worked perfectly with them, and Season OG worked perfectly fine with these feature as well. It was honestly more fun to keep them in than to take them out. While features like Wall Jumping, Ledge Jumps, and Rolls are defiantly not suited for the Chapter 1 map, Mantling, Sprinting, and Sliding are just QOL features that could work on any map. Now, if by OG movement, you mean the animations, those should come back, but Mantling, Sprinting, and Sliding are just objective improvements and I'm glad they've been confirmed for the mode.

I think Epic needs to make a clean slate for OG, get rid of turbo building for it, re-incorporate SBMM, and honestly roll out more polls when they see an unhappy community.

Epic Games have announced we are getting Chapter 3 Movement, mainly cause Zero Builds will be way too slow without the Chapter 3 Movement.

ok but there is like no cover on the map especially in season 1 with less locations. this will ruin it for zero build players who can’t build to defend themselves and sometimes need to just run. i think they should bring old animations with sprinting, mantling, and sliding. but i dont like the new animations for walking
Yes! I want it to feel like it did, I'm okay with some slight graphical changes, but something as crucial as movement to be completely different will kind of ruin the experience. I want OG to feel like you found an old game cartridge and you can replay just how you left it, instead of it being a remake that's close enough but feels wrong. They should have it as close to the original as they can, changing some things here and there would ruin that feeling unless very minor and doesn't affect players too much. Also as you mentioned in the video, it would completely ruin the pace of the game and confuse returning players on why the OG mode has non-OG movement. Double pump is coming back and I'm glad, even though it is OP but now it'll be worse as players will be able to sprint up to you and double pump you or climb your buildings. I don't understand why they wouldn't bring back the old movement as I feel like the 'OG mode' should have most things, especially things as important as movement, be OG.
I think the sweats would complain and fortnite ALWAYS prioritise their complaints over casual player complaints.

I would understand them complaining about all of this if it happened during the first season OG, since there was no other battle royale to play, but now since it is a separate game mode, they can go play chapter 6 season 1. And besides, the competitive players somehow played the game and managed without sprinting then (all of chapter 1 I mean, not just season 1, and also chapter 2) so I just don't get it, also they changed the weapon damage completely too, grey pumps can one shot, so why wouldn't they just change movement too?

I was playing Fortnite back in the day when I was like 17,18 years old now I’m 24 years old and I can’t wait for the OG to come back very excited. Hopefully they don’t have the movement that is terrible. Hopefully it’s the OG one.
I think it's been confirmed og movement won't come back but people have said the animations are coming back at a later date but I've never heard a reliable source say that

I'm pretty sure 90% of the people in favor of the OG movement would go insane if it really came back. I'm talking about sprinting and mantling but NOT jogwalk btw. Believe me when I say this. No matter how much we want the og movement to come back. We would struggle a LOT. And also because people nowadays (even OGs) sweat their butt and are ready to fight other squads even when the storm is chasing their tail, they would be annoyed to find their way out of the storm. If you still don't understand me, think of that day when you launched fortnite excited to play chapter 5 and discovered the slow turtle chapter 5 movement. It was BAD. I agree they should bring back the old jog walk but they should a 100% keep sprinting and mantling.

Talking about 10 people before zone even closing, it's really true, whenever I'm playing the lobby is just 20-30 people at the moment the storm starts closing in, the game is just too fast paced and too sweaty. I hope they add ranked so the sweats can just go and sweat there instead of normal BR

I don’t mind the sprinting, sliding, etc. but I’d really really like the original running animation. Because the whole point of the mode is to be the OG of the OG. Meaning everything is OG. Same thing with the hud ui. And it’s not impossible for epic to do because creative maps have the old hud. Basically it’s not just the map that makes it og, it’s a bunch of little things TOGETHER that makes the whole og experience
I think something that OG Fortnite did better than any map was strategizing where to drop. Because movement was a lot slower, it was very important to land near the middle to ensure you can make it to the circle unscathed. Land further out however, sure you might get the whole POI to yourself, but now you have to run further. Whereas today it doesn't really matter because of movement items such as the Typhoon Blade and vehicles. I understand why people may not like that, it is very unforgiving, but to me that was the beauty of it. I'm still really enjoying the new maps and guns. But sometimes I just want it simple and straight to the point.
