    i was completely transfixed.
I think hollywood should produce a fictional movie about discovering the ark underground on temple mount and bringing it above ground.

Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy 30:5 - And the Word of the Lord your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed by inheritance, and you shall possess it, and he will bless you and increase you more than your fathers.

The chamber under the rock is used by Muslims for prayer and has been visually documented and commented on by several visitors, none of which have remarked on any sign of a tunnel closure to the best of my knowledge. On the other hand there is the biblical reference to the "Voice crying out in the Wilderness"; I believe the Wilderness is the area in Israel where the Book of Maccabees claims that the Levites charged with it's care hid the Ark...

Yes, Vendyl Jones spoke about this. The Levite in charge of hiding the Ark overlooking the northern tip of the Dead Sea was Shimor HaLeivy who along with Jeremiah the Proplet hid the Ark along with 4 other Temple officials 22 years before Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the 1st Temple. There is an 18 km long winding passage from the Temple Mt to this hiding place, The Cave of the Column, overlooking the Dead Sea, directly across the Sea from Mt Nebo where Moshe is buried..

The ark of the covenant is in Jerusalem in Jeremiah's grotto along the Calgary escarpment. Between the tomb where they laid him and the place of the skull.

The historical truth about the Ark of the Covenant is that after it was lost during the attack of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon on Jerusalem, this Ark was transferred to Babylon and was there until the conquest of Babylon by Cyrus the Great. But after the fall of Babylon, he was transferred to Iran by Cyrus and hid in a room deep in the earth where Daniel prophet was considered. This place is accidentally discovered by a shepherd.

Ramban ascended the Temple Mount so the Rabbi is not correct on that issue. There is still no halachic argument why Jews shouldn't ascend the Mount. Rabbis should be encouraging people to go there. It will strengthen the Jewish claim to the site and also show demonstrate deep longing for the Temple.

Regarding the reason for the continuing of the Exile, if you believe as I do that the dry bones in Ezekiel 37:1-14 is not foretelling an actual resurrection but rather the return of Israel to life in God's eyes as a result of their heeding the words of His prophet, then the reason for the continuation of the Exile becomes painfully obvious. It also highlights the importance of establishing who this prophet is so that these events can take place, not merely waiting for the signs that Rambam proposed. I would go further and suggest that the current efforts to rebuild the third Temple are misguided and that those resources should rather be directed at determining who this prophet is...

not almost... chazal say it actually did carry its carriers... and it had to because was so heavy in addition to the box being very heavy but also because the luchos themselves were also very very heavy as we know from the story of the egel that moshe could not naturally hold the first luchos once bnai yisroel had sinned... up til then he had been carrying them miraculously up til the moment he saw their great averah... truth.out...

the plishtim did not have it for 52yrs... the tnach says I believe for 7mos... so they didn't give it back to david hamelech... they gave it back to shmuel hanavi who had become the shofet after the death of his mentor and shofet eli kohen gadol who died upon the news of the aron's capture...

He reveals his secrets to the rejected, innocent people. My first ever friend once said that God was in the cupboard and immediately started crying her heart out. We were so confused and scared at what she said. Because it was the way she said it.
If God is in the cupboard, then where is the ark?
