She would've been quite something to resist, as well. Joseph had no fellowship, no Bible, no access to literature, no counseling AND no indwelling of the Holy Spirit as we do being under grace ... but he feared God. That was all.

Jesus set me free from porn, fornication, lust, adultery, nicotine, binge drinking, weed addiction, anxiety and more. When you stop trying to do it in your own strength and exercise calling out to God when you are weak He will see you through it.

AMEN! This 'Joseph' movie from 1995 has always been one of my favorites because it demonstrates the trust he had in The Lord. Especially when he stood before Pharaoh and refused to bow down, even upon pain of death! What happened to Joseph was called the 'Death of a vision.' God had promised Joseph that one day he would be ruler even over his family. Then, he was thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, falsely accused of a crime and put in prison. Only after many years of hardship and the SEEMING death of a the vision, with Joseph proving himself faithful and trusting in The Lord, did The Lord lift him up!

When it seems like The Lord has forgotten you, don't give up or give in. WAIT upon The Lord!

Thanks for the message rol i like the joseph 1995 movie as well joseph is a powerful story of faith a young man going through so much even at times wondering if God is with him our is not there at all you see that when he was thrown into the prison he quotes psalm 22 why have you forsaken me,the ancient egyptians recording some very similar literature to the joseph potiphers wife situation its called the tale of 2 brothers, apu and bata they live in the same house yet apus wife tries to seduce bata to sleep with her he refuses and accuses bata of raping her and batas brother belives her putting bata in danger it ends with the truth that bata was innocent but the writers of the joseph story created a masterpiece
When faced with temptation, I was not faithful like Joseph. I know God forgives me, but I mourn the doors I shut for myself.

Lord help me have a heart like Joseph and refuse to sin, especially when it comes to sexual immorality.
Fleeing temptation and sin is the obvious goal for ALL Christians in their spiritual walk, but just as important, if not more so, is if/when you do stumble and get caught in sin, it is ABSURDELY IMPORTANT to not only confess and repent of your sins to God, but confess your sins to those that are affected by them! What James said about confessing sins to one another is so important because that is literally showing the heart change that repentance is all about!

Yesterday I had a test in chemistry over a subject I felt I'd been really struggling with in particular areas and was tempted to cheat off of my classmate like I'd done in the past on other tests, but I've been reading my Bible lately and was reminded of I Peter 2 where it talks about submitting to the ordinance of men.
I felt convicted to take the grade I deserved and ended up leaving the last two problems blank because I had no idea what to do. Later my teacher even asked how I thought I did and I told him I didn't do well.
Today I go my test back, it turns out my teacher thought it best to count the last two problems as extra credit because of the class's performance. The grade I ended up getting was a 100, much better than I would have guessed even without the last two problems included in the score. I'm thankful to God for His mercy in this case and will work for my grade next time, knowing that in the future I'll more than likely get what's coming to me. Excellent video AOC!

The bible says the famine was all over the face of the earth. He knew that he was put in the position by God. The LORD was always with him and made all he did to prosper in his hand.

I live in a city where their's a great falling away. At this point they are on a red line of becoming zombies, so I don't have anyone I can share this with. My family is Yahshua, and everyone scattered around the world in Christ.
Sin is so easily found in this day and age but I’ve found the battles we fight today help make tomorrow easier keep fighting and fleeing sin Family it gets easier with time as you drown yourself in God more

Truly beautiful to see this story in depth. When you said "God calls you away from sin for a purpose bigger than yourself." That woke me, because I have a gift to care for others in such a way, that I forget to take care of myself. Knowing that the focus on my walk isnt selfish/wasteful, but can and WILL help others too! I failed recently and didn’t feel that I was worthy of talking to him. It’s an awful feeling.
One thing that helped me the most was give it to God cry to him or pray for all those burdens to take them away.He's our Lord and Father and loves us.

I've been on my walk with Jesus, through some pretty rough times, lost a career through persecution, by selling my music to staff members. All this has bought me so much closer to God, it is through these terrible times that I now rejoice at having a deep relationship with him.
This particular movie, the one with Ben Kingsly, is really one of my all time favorite movies.
Very well done and a good lesson from the Good Book.
We are role models for others. Whatever it is that we accept/reject, so do others that wish to emulate us and our behavior. So it isn't just us that are affected by what we do.

That's the issue with giving in to sinful temptations - it's in our nature to want instant gratification over what blessings may come in the future that may not even impact us specifically, but maybe someone generations from now. It's that selfishness that causes us to give in - great reminder and lesson in this video.

I think of this story of Joseph often. Many times I have recalled the words that Joseph said to his brothers regarding what his brothers did to him by throwing him down the well. Joseph faced many perils but remained faithful even, when it seemed, that all hope had been lost. What he said to his brothers when he was re-united with them, often speaks to my heart. "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good". God can take a negative situation and turn it into a positive one, but only if we abide in His love and remain faithful to our calling as Christians. Thank you, dear brother Jerren. Ask God to help you trust me im going through it ...stopped smoking I was one of those smokers that litterly had one in the hand everytime you'd look at me...filthy stuff. I had melt down when I went off them the first day or so cried and prayed to God for help and suddenly I felt calmness come over me. Still only just handful of days I'm off it but I remind myself is smoking more important ? Remember what he went through for you. Loyalty to him is our goal we show we love him by doing so. Personally I've sinned badly was on hormones (ftm) im off them of course and other things what matters is we turn from it. Watching these kinds of videos is very uplifting but at the same time painful, I realize how bad I am and full of sin. How to present myself before God with so much sin? I honestly believe that God has abandoned me, life has ceased to have meaning for me, I have lost the joy of salvation. Please pray for me.
