Begin your day giving God your first fruits in thanksgiving with a few minutes of prayer, and meditation. Listening for direction from him. Read 1 chapter of the Word of God daily. Start in the 4 gospels in the book of John. Ask God in faith to open your understanding, and it will come alive to you. Google Scriptures on fear, which is anxiety such as 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. The Authorized King James version Bible. Quote it aloud, and say "it is written" just as the Lord did. Begin to spend time in true worship through annointed Christian music. Lift up holy hands in worship as he tells us in his Word to do. And don't neglect the assembling of the saints.
Abiding in him: to rest in his promises, NOT MOVE by any circumstances, for He who made the promise is FAITHFUL. To walk continually in love.

@@Drew-ql3dg honestly it is not something we can do in our own strength. Naturally, we don't even have the desire to remain in Christ. But the Lord keeps us near to him and he works the willing and doing in us. We begin by believing what he says. He will never leave us nor forsake us, we are seated in heavenly places with him, and we are his bride and inheritance saved unto good works. We are also his worksmanship and he is saving our souls by his love and power. He has done it all, and we rest in what he has already accomplished, trusting in his character, power and love for us. All we can do is continue to seek him. Place him first in our hearts and lives and keep our eyes on him. Not looking to the right or to the left. Delight in him.
To me abiding in Christ is
-having a close relationship with Him
-seeking Him
-talking to Him, prayer
-always giving thanks and praising Him
-fearing His word and obeying it
-reading His word, studying and meditating on it
To me, abiding in Christ means that every second of my life is guided by Him. I can do nothing without Him.🙏❤️

Abiding in him to me means surrendering to Jesus completely - heart, mind, soul and spirit - trust all things are possible through him, repenting of our sins, following the Living Word of God and believing and sharing the Good News that Jesus is risen and he is leads us to Eternal Glory in the Heavenly Kingdom.

@ ko what is the difference between soul and spirit? I am new in my study, I don't know what a lot of things mean. What is the true gospel for example. Is it about the 1000 years reign of Jesus, which I cannot wait for, or is it that our sins are forgiven through the blood of Jesus? I have read different things, so I am confused. Really confused. About the old testament I am really not understanding how if a woman gets raped, she must marry the rapist!!??
Actually abiding in Him means that you live your life knowing that Jesus' ways are the ways you desire to live by. Surrendering is when you accept Him and the more you study the more you will find the ways of Jesus, God if you will, and you live inside of HIS life. It takes a long while and many days of studying and meditating on His word. You cannot think you can read something you must do then not do it. You are abiding in Him when you want to adapt His correct ways as your ways. I am not trying to discourage you!! Not at all! I am hoping you see that there are greater things you will be able to do along your journey with King Jesus. What you described is what redemption is all about!! How wonderful you are!!!!

To everyone whom it may concern; its a process. Ive came a long way since when i first came to faith in 2019. And wow the transformation. Chains of addiction and sin are breaking. Im looking forward to the next 3 years and see how He will use me. Do not turn from His voice like i have done. My first 2-3yrs were the hardest. Half way in Christ and half way in the world. That is not the way brothers and sisters.

To abide in Christ is to live with Him, and to have Him living with me. He is the central Person in my life, and nothing in my life excludes Him. We are in this journey together.
I spend a lot of time at home now that I'm retired. But I am strict with my daily bible reading/morning time, with Him. My heart is tender to the touch of my God.
Abiding in Christ means to me that I must surrender my will to Him and be available for His service. Study His word daily…listen and talk with God continuously. Trusting in Him totally.

For me abiding in Christ means starting each day with Him in prayer, ending each day with Him in prayer and thanksgiving and talking to Him throughout the day, praying for His guidance, for discernment, for His protection and meditating on His word every day 🙏

I run my own business and since coming to The Lord 4 years ago I have made many changes in how it’s run through being convicted. I’m still being sanctified and making mistakes but with His help I’m changing.

The hope we have in Christ is hard for us to wrap our heads around. The hope the world gives is disappointing and leaves you empty. Stay in Christ even though the pruning can be painful.
And painful it is, but it leads to victory! In His most glorious way. If this alone is not a WOW, nothing is. God Bless!
At times it feels like you are in the dark when you are going through the pruning process and his love feels so far away at time and also the attacks from the evil one come to put doubts in your mind and evil thoughts but through it all still abiding still trusting still moving forward even when we feel that we are blind but the only light we have is the word of God in the hope of glory in the midst of the pain and the attacks God is still faithful and he who started the good work in us will finish it until it is complete God is not finished with us yet brothers and sisters the only hope I have is Jesus Christ!
@@brandonmoorhead2373 He is the only hope we all have. We do get attacked more daily now, but I believe God is weeding out goats from sheep. He is making all of us sure of our salvation, though it be painful, joy comes in the morning. When it does, we reap a harvest, so don't give up. God's thoughts are higher than ours and His ways are higher than ours. He can and will protect us from the evil one. We must not give up or in, but we must stay the course in obedience. No matter how things look, he sees ahead of us. Faith is trusting, for we live by faith and not by sight. Good thing, right? LOL God Bless!

We need each other more now then ever as iron sharpens iron we need to encourage each other as though our lives and souls depend on it. Wow! . . . . Just wow! God is amazing and his timing is impeccable. I just closed my Bible from reading John chapters 11-15. The notification wasn’t sent a second before so that it would be a distraction, but the very moment I finished my devotion ending on ch. 15 reading that God is the vine we are the branches he who abides in him and he in us we will bear much fruit 🍎 🙌…… the ending question I believe to abide in Christ means to walk by faith and not by sight, to become one with the father by studying his word and learning about him so that we can mimic his behavior and be like him. Abide in Jesus, not just daily but hourly thoughts of Him during everything we do and think. Asking for His help in our weakness; learning to walk with Him everyday of our life as we await for His return.
Lately I’ve been dealing with doubt, distraction and fear so to me abiding in Christ is persevering and to keep on seeking God despite the many challenges
Adibing in him for me is making time to read his word in the morning when you wake up and before you sleep and fasting to help the spirit connect with God...Right now where I'm at I feel like Satan is kicking me to the ground but I shall continue my daily routine of not only praying but practicing not to be a slave to my sin which is sexual immorality.
Good message!! Remember the "pruning" is not related to salvation but sanctification like you said! This should be motivation for all believers to abide in Christ so we can receive full reward (above and beyond salvation) at our judgement day.
For me, abiding in Him is to continually seek Him. Stay in the word daily and allow the holy spirit to guide my life.
Abiding in the LORD means spending every waking hour, and even when I sleep, aware of His presence - He is with me all the time. His Word is in me; Holy Spirit is in me. I rest, in Him - every moment of every day. He leads me; He guides me. He directs my steps. I don't make a move without Him.

I was the worst of the worst. Crime, drugs, alcohol, witchcraft, fornication, porn to name a few. I spent time in jails, rehabs, and psyche wards. Then I had one encounter with the holy spirit 2 years ago and it changed my life. I needed deliverance and found a spirit filled church. Now I am head of a department at that church and am involved in the body of Christ. I've still got a long way to go but I'm unrecognizable to the man I was. To anyone reading this struggling, hold on, you're breakthrough is coming. Mine took about 20 years because I would not submit for decades and I felt I was too far gone. I was getting attacked by literal demons and I still wanted to hold onto my sin. But now God has transformed me and if he can for me, he can do it for anyone. Don't give up!
I abide in Christ by starting my day with Prayer, Bible Study, Worship and Praise to our God, our Savior and the Holy Spirit. Then all through the day I am thanking the Lord for all the food, clothing, shelter, Grace, Mercy and Wisdom that he gives me in carrying our my duties each day. I depend on Holy Spirit to guide my decisions, my giving, my going our and coming in each day. When, I fall then I pray and ask for forgiveness from Him and then I forgive myself. Awesome message! Pruning is all about taking my cross daily, walking and following Jesus Christ! Then goodness and mercy follows me. To abide in him for me means, my daily walk consists of: praying without ceasing; reading, studying and memorizing the Word; Witnessing to others and to fellowship with genuine Christians. Most important, to recognize the purpose of life on earth is to fear God and to keep his commandments - Ecclesiastes 12:13, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man". 🎁🛐

At 2am, my friend's rural home was on fire, while trying to save her dogs, she collapsed on the floor. A very tall woman appeared and carried her out through a window. When my friend turned to thank her, the woman was gone. Her farmhouse is in an open field. But my friend looked for the woman, even calling out to her. She saw no one walking away. Closest neighbor is a half mile away. And it was not the neighbor. The fire chief and police are looking for this hero. But no one in the little community with an approximate population 1200 had no idea who this woman is.
I have heard of events like this...i believe it was an angel! I just wanted to share this blessing. God is good!

From what i learned i think to abide in Christ is remembering what the word of God says and not let anything else destroy your faith. And when you do sin. Dont live in the shame but repent and keep moving forward. And always remember Christ in everything you do

For me to abide in Christ is putting Him first every day, and before everything and everyone else. Spending time with Him every morning before starting my day, by reading the Bible and praying, offering myself and that day up to Him for His will and His glory. The pruning hurts. But I thank him for pruning me. Brokenness is a hidden blessing that helps us to grow in the Lord. Brothers and sisters please pray for my 12 year old boy. Abide in him - Pray to him everyday to lead your path in doing his will and not mine. Pray about everything and have him lead your path in righteousness. I ask God for everything. Which job I should apply for, who he wants me to help, who he wants me to ignore, where does he want me to go share the gospel, who I should rent out to, where does he want me to go today to witness Jesus to. Every person that comes into my path, if I see an opportunity I witness the Good News so they can come to Christ

Studying my Bible to learn about Jesus more.
Sharing my testimony about a drug addict who lost everything to a child of God who gained everything.
I try my hardest to look for signs of the Holy Spirit within me guiding me daily.
Some of the fruit of the spirit are Love, Patience, and Long-suffering. If you are bearing these, most-likely you are abiding in Christ.
Abide in him, i think doing the will of the father, and keeping the commandmments to show him our love out of love, praying and reading the word, hungring and thirsting for greater Revelation of him. Giving love as we receive love from jesus, being patient with people who are weak in faith, giving grace as he gives us freely
Praise God. His power is coming. The world is about to see the GLORY of our LORD. Hallelujah!
For me to abide in Jesus is to trust Him with all of my troubles. To stop worrying about everything and praise Him for all that He has done, is doing and will do in my life. To get to know Him via His Word and through prayer. Sadly, I spiral out of this every now and then, stop praying so often, worship less and less, and worry more. I always feel like it's two steps forward, one step back. But God never let's me slip away entirely, He always has a way to get my attention and get me on track for those next two steps. That's how faithful and good He is! He never gives up on me, no matter how many times I mess up!

When you abide in Christ you reflect God’s character which is the fruits of the spirit. Love joy peace etc. You don’t do things the way the world does but God’s way.
You daily focus on God’s Plan, Way, purpose and his Will for your life. You daily WALK and TALK with God like Enoch did.

For me abide in Christ means that walk by his words what he says to us we must listen carefully and walk sensitively
