I have an error on lambda recently appeared after a wash, as you said it cured the flat spot and the bike is colder overall but it runs a little rich, i can hear the pops in the engine braking , and i have catalitic convertors, they now get stupid hot compared to when the sensor was working so, if you do a cat delete then it should be fine, otherwise you risk blowing them up
So my vtx1800c is a California model and has a o2 sensor. I shoved a 330 ohm 1/2 watt resistor in and light is still flashing code 23 which is heating element in o2 sensor. Should I disconnect my battery? Or is their anything else I gotta do?

Watching your video I am thinking the O2 sensor might be my problem. Do you think I should also go for the ohm resistor or will it change according to the bike? Hey buddy I owned one of these lovely bikes for a while - same year as yours. I removed and capped the PAIR system ( as I do on most of my bikes ) and that helped reduce the snatchy low speed throttle - I also ran min 98 fuel - I never had my bike feel funny at cruising speed after that. So I never did a o2 bypass. BUT my current bike - bandit 1250 feels very off/on at cruising so I’m going to try this . Also in some cars you can move the o2 sensor out of the exhaust stream with spacers . I did this on my H6 outback when I added its modified exhaust - works fantastic and no CEL lights or issues . So the principal is the same it may work in a bike ?

Worked great for me, '22 Kawasaki Z400. The only thing I had to do different was erase the error code with a scan tool to get the check engine light to go off.
Did it change the way throttle feels or just crusing? I'm planning to get another exhaust for my MT15 just wondering can i delete the sensor and get better performance out of the engine?!
My bike is running lean at hi rpm. 10k. And my rpm wont go above 10k. Would it be because of the o2 sensor? In low rpm the afr is ok. But after 8k to 10k the fuel gets leaner.
The pins we've bridged are for the heating element of the O2 sensor, the data pins aren't connected. So because the ECU isn't getting any data it will revert about to its internal map, which tells it the correct mixture to use at a specific rpm. The bike normally uses this map instead of the O2 sensor input, unless you're cruising at a constant speed, because the O2 sensor data is unreliable when the rpm is fluctuating, adding the resistors forces the bike to use the map even when at constant rpm

Hiys mate. My o2 sensor was removed before I got the bike and I can’t seem to find the connectors. Anyway my my question to you is: my bike is 1999 vfr 5gen same as yours. The snorkel and pairs mod have been done but fi light is on after 15min into the journey - code 10 intake air flow. I believe that is the little white sensor underneath the air box ( correct me if I’m wrong) can I do the same with the resistors on the white connector or what would you suggest. Cheers

My 98 5th gen doesn't have 02 sensors, subbed.

Is the reason the oxygen sensor is removed because a power commander is installed? so that an error does not appear on the board?

I can't speak much for other bikes but it should work regardless as they mostly all use the same tech

Is this safe for a cbr 1000rr 2015? Bike has a cel for O2 and I’m planning on just dyno tune and disable o2

Did it ever come back? I installed a delete on my svartpilen and 2 days later the light came on.
can you please tell me on your plug what wires are you bridging? the live and earth?
I have the same problem with my 2013 Hyosung GT650R. the FI doesn't flash when I'm riding but I can feel the bike struggling at low RPM.

Hello i got 2005 honda cbr 600f. What resistance should i use? And i think there is single connector that my bike has for the o2 sensor.
Does all bike O2 sensor can use your method to deactivate? Does ecu read lean due no input and let injector push in more fuel?

I don't think so, the sensor is only really used when cruising at a constant speed

Can it fix the back fire when you installed a full exhaust system?
Usually that's caused by air interning the pipe. That's a side effect of not sealing the exhaust correctly

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure that the air intake sensor is one of the required ones, but can be found fairly cheap second hand.
What resistance did you use? I’ve tried still no luck
It's supposed to be a 330 ohm 1/4 watt. I used a half watt and still can't get my light out.
