Besides Clem & AJs relationship, Violets romance was in my opinion the best thing about this Season. Every scene w/ her and Clementine is just incredible, the only thing that would have made it the best was if we only have gotten one "I love you".

I'm a straight male, but Violet as a character is more sympathetic. Also, she's lived through a rough life even before the infection.
I mean, your family living in a trailer, having to watch your granny kill herself and just numb your feelings, only to open up later and then get heartbroken by loss... damn. That's a whole lot of bad cards. To me, she's similar to Clem in where she had to toughen up too fast in a world that fell apart.. well, too fast.
In contrast, A rich kid who got everything except what he really wanted before breaking up his own family... It's tough coming to terms with your own actions and having that life of a bubble popped, but the live in the moment mentality, while it has it's moments, wouldn't really make sense long term.
True, for Louis, it's broad strokes, I mean, I love the guy. I would rather have Vi lose an eye than for Louis to lose what makes him, well, him.
But between both, I would have my Clem date Vi in a heartbeat.

It’s a year later and I’m still watching because I ship these more then clouis, don’t get me wrong he’s a good character, but he already had a major crush on clementine whilst violet took some time to warm up to

At first, yes (and I'm pretty sure why, it just was too official)! But don't forget that he was one of the Kids who voted AGAINST Clem and AJ to ban them both from the School, even after the Proof what Marlon has done. I know Marlon was his best Friend but still. What Marlon did was horrible and can't be forgiven that easy, even not from the best Friend in the World (only Violet stood up for Clem & AJ and protected them from Marlon while Louis just was standing and dumb looking there with doing absolutely nothing). Banning them for a Guy who turned out as a psychopathic Killer (who also selled Kids to theyr Enemies) and leave them behind with the Walkers is the worst Thing he's done to Clem and AJ and that alone is Reason enough for me that he absolutely isn't the right Person and Love for Clem in my Opinion. And that's just a couple of the many Reasons why I personally never would want a Romance between Clem and Louis.
I picked Violet already in my first Playthrough :) This Romance feels for me much more heartwarming and natural. With Louis it feels just too forced for me, because before even warming up with her and learning to know her better with Time first, he just starts right at his first Appereance trying to flirt with her and teasing the Romance all over the Place and how he's pretty damn sure that he could get her anytime like a Trophy (I absolutely don't like this Kind of Disrespect to Clem). Clementine deserves much better than this and that's definetly Violet ;)

I saved Louis instead of her, figuring she'd make it out, unlike him. Instead, she was kidnapled and I broke her heart. I just knew it wasn't meant to be.
That's the lesson she learned from the "New Frontier" season. Family and war just don't mix. "Together 'til death do us apart" just doesn't have place. It got (in my case) Kate killed, not splitting up the group out of absolute loyalty to Javi.
