CHICKEN NUGGETS
I've watched both Clem's romance scenes between Violet and Louis, and in my opinion, I find this one much more romantic and intimate. Sure, Violet was cold at first, but this is because she lost Minnie (or thought she did until later in the season). By opening up to Clem and slowly getting close, it felt organic.
With Louis, he was already hitting on her. He was cool, showing that he had a sense of humor and fun. However, he proved to be immature until later in the season. The piano scene... felt clumsy and made me cringe.
I'm thankful to both Telltale and Skybound for having Clem and Violet get together without executive meddling and not being so subtle that fans would think it came out of nowhere.

It seems that way because those are the only ones you've noticed. Gay male and female characters have popped up in numerous games for a while now.
Unless you mean in terms of gay lead characters (that you can't just make gay yourself, like in the Fallout games), which I would agree with. And even then, lesbian lead characters are still a rarity. Lack of gay main characters are likely due to male developers thinking they'll lose male customers, and gaming is still widely perceived to be this male thing. The actual numbers aren't so skewed, but it'll be a while before the people in charge start figuring that out.
Yeah I wish there were more same sex male relationships in gaming. And not little cameos and subtle clues but actual LEAD characters that have a romantic relationship like the girls have been getting. Maybe someday.

Clementine Urban they were both reluctant to step up to defend you and rightfully so. They were both scared of Marlon so you can't pin this one on Louis.
You can tell this was a last minute option , It seem like they was going for one way romance but decide to add romance for Violet just to not piss off Violet shippers who probably would've got mad if it was a one way romance.
