@@kyleromero9912 how? lol, my father grew up in a village who’s the descendants from the aztec, aka the nahua tribe and my father enjoyed watching this with me, his tribe is one of the last few who still worship the aztec gods, i don’t think you can really have a massive opinion on it if you don’t study mythology or the modern day aztec god religion

She dislike him much, even though he didn't physically abuse her, she detested him for being always kept trapped in the underworld and never having a choice to do anything

@@wraves693 but,she really hated him only after meeting Yaotl. When he giver her the permission to go the living World,it was over. She doesn't hated him this time( my english is not good i know ). Mictlantechutli wasn't a bad husband, so i really don't understand why

@@wilhempatrickmbassinzie370 For the beginning of the story he was never evil, he always stuck for balance of things, he could also be merciful and wise, I also think he deserved better, I hope he returns in the second season (since the post credits scene hinted that he was still alive, I didn't see any reason to include him again at this point of the series if he wasn't really needed)
