The no mask thing was really cool back when this released, since nobody had seen them maskless at that point.
The video is just genius. Back in the day we haven't seen Slipknot without their masks. This was the first time they put them off
Most of Slipknot songs are metaphors, so be prepared for that. They usually don't carry the first meaning that comes to your mind.
Surfacing is probably my all time favorite ‘Knot song… and it’s heavy!!!

GUYS THIS ISN'T THE ALBUM VERSION, the album version actually is longer with a better quality of audio, just have in mind all their music videos from the song of VOL.3 are always better on the algum version, so lyirc videos to the next, like "Duality, Before I forget, Vermilion" them all are better in the album version not the muisc video, but their music videos are dope, just "The nameless" sometimes I prefer the Vidoe than tge áudio, and sometimes I prefer the áudio

I'd suggest listening to 'til we die by slipknot released in 2008 if you haven't. I believe it was used as a tribute to their former bass player Paul Gray who passed from heart failure in 2010. It takes on more of a lighter stone sour vibe in my opinion
