  • In this video I completely detail the interior of 2016 Mazda 3. My car was full of sand and dust. It really needed a deep and thorough clean.

    Greg...looks good!! Always feels good when you've done a good job. I find the shop vac I use works good on sand...I would think compressed air would just blow things around?

      Yes it does. But it brings it to the surface which helps a lot

    Next time grab a bottle of meguiars quik interior detailer and give it a try. 1 step cleaner and protectant. Leaves a nice scent and finish that's not super glossy like armor all. I have lots of products like 303 but I keep going back to the quik interior detailer

      @@GregPettus Yeah I use it everywhere except clear plastic screens like the headsup display, speed gauges, or mazda headunit. Probably fine for those too but I dont want to risk clouding them up or something (some protectants do that).

      OK. But what about cleaning dirty plastic? Please give good advice and instructions on how to proceed. I will be very grateful.

      @@soolya62 It depends how delicate the plastic is and how dirty it is. If its just regular maintenance with some dust and maybe alittle dirt you can use the meguiars spray I already referenced. If its something more rugged that gets dirty like rubber floor mats, I will actually take those to my bath tub and spray degreaser on them and agitate with a firm brush. The mazda floor mats are surprisingly porous so dirt gets trapped even when it looks clean. I like diluted super clean from walmart, its very strong but not every region will have it so can use other brands of degreaser diluted like meguiars (or whatever brand) or you can also use APC (all purpose cleaner)

      BoogieDownProduction any suggestions for fixing a cloudy head unit cos of a silly mistake involving a alcohol wipe?😬

    Hi friend. after applying chemistry to plastic parts, do you first wipe with clean microfiber or brush with a brush, and then wipe with microfiber soaked in clean water?

    • @GregPettus
      @GregPettus  4 роки тому

      depends on how dirty it is. I brush it with the all purpose cleaner if the dirt is trapped. otherwise just wipe down with clean microfiber and thats it. no need for a towel in soaked water.
