I've actually worked on a modded game myself (specifically for AUT), and from the perspective of someone who has created one, half of the fun of it for me at least is figuring out how all the strings are attached onto a game to get it to work and how to turn that into something entirely different. The one i did is non-profit (aside from premium payouts as you literally can't turn them off) and i only really did it because the base game was going down the shitter. And quite frankly, it's quite sad to see other modded games that only exist to make a quick buck doing better than modded games which are created to improve on what was already there.
At this point I don’t play Roblox constantly I just play games that I find fun off of Roblox and come back to Roblox when something new and cool comes out which is not very often. It’s sad how many copies and non-games there are on the platform

It counts as a mod or robot 64 by zkevin, but in the description it is mentioned right off the bat the game is by zkevin, and while it does use assets from the original, the gameplay is so much more different,( yes it the same plot and progression is the same, but) for example, the tutorial, you cannot compare the tutorial of robot64 with rob64kaizo, same goes for the rest of the game, even the ending “destroy the sun!” is different yet inspired from the original. I think practically the only monetization is the “skip tutorial” trash bin, which still requires you to be able to do the first part of the tutorial, and it gives you a clown nose (i think) if you buy it after so theres not much of it. Thats my opinion on modded games, they should be like this, and not give you total freedom of the game, they should atleast try to be their own game as best as they can, I hate that modded games took this direction because if they didnt, we could have more games like robot 64 kaizo ,and others, hell even flood escape 2 community maps is a good example of a modded game.

I've seen alot of criminality modded games and they were uploaded to a group and the games were taken down more than 30+ times and nothing happened to the group and the games were still being uploaded and the owner of the group still hasnt been terminated.
Big games aint taken them down yet because they did but they keep coming back/theres to many to take em all down they tried to by dmca everyone for the quote on quote (square pets) they thought they woukd get the fakes and stolens banned but forgot that most games not stole also had square pets and people took it out of context to much and thought they were just tryna be greedy with squares
