I started playing ukulele two years ago, I started out with a second hand soprano , I tried a concert and liked it better and bought it as it was easier to play ( big hands ) then I tried a tenor and of course that one felt easy to play and sounded great ,yep bought it ! , then I found a baritone at the second hand store and it was so cheap , ya ya I know but I had to have it , so now I'm an addict 😕 I now have eight 👀. 5 soprano's 1 tenor 1 concert and 1 baritone , I've found that each instrument has its own voice ,tone, and beauty , and love each for what they are , if I had to pick one that would be very hard but I think maybe I'm more parcel to the concert , because it's easy to place your fingers and you still get that higher ukulele pitch , ukuleles are like trying different flavored potato chips you can't just do one ! None are bad some are just better than others ! 🤔✌🏻️

I've never had experience with any type of ukulele, guitar or stringed instrument before 😂 from watching videos I've been leaning towards buying a concert one. What are your thoughts? 😊😜💞
Ellie 123 ,Hi it's a personal preference , but the professionals say you should buy one that fits you, when you strum a ukulele it should be right at the sound hole on the face of it, and if you put the ukulele in the joint area where your elbow bends and the Hand lines up with the sound hole and it's easy to put your fingers on the frets the lines on the neck of the ukulele then it is easier to play , I started on a soprano and have one close to my favorite chair , just in case I feel the need to play , if your serious about getting one and don't know go to the music store near you and they can show you what's good , ( I'd stay away from really cheap made ones ,like plastic ). I've bought a couple of cheap wooden ones and they didn't sound as good but you learn as you progress, hope I helped and good luck on your search , once you learn the basics it's so much fun learning news songs that you can sing along with . ✌🏻️😃

Since no one answered u i can Show u something. I just startet playing but i googled alot so i think i kmow some things. I think concert and Sopran guitar are both great and perfect for beginners. If u are more into something to just play rhythms sometimes u know i think u could prefer the soprano. The concert is more flexible i thibk . So i hoped i xould help. Stay healthy.

@@stephanie-fn5fz haha im not a Profi i started like 2 months ago or smth. I play also play the guitar and it was hard for me to place my Fingers right on the ukulele . I really recommend the Tenor but its the smallest so if you have struggles with it, i would buy a concert.
Frustration ko matuto ng string instrument, nun dumating ako dito sa thailand May uke pamangkin ko so I tried to teach myself and your videos was the biggest help I got 🥰 3 days ago dumating na ung uke na binili ko and guess what dahil din sa influence mo, I bought the exact uke from hricane, concert flower pattern. Nun una di ko alam pero parang disappointed ako sa tunog, medyo di ko marinig exact notes and medyo ma-base nga which is dahil concert size sya and halos one year ako sa soprano, today I heard the notes right, I’m so happy, or nasanay na tenga ko sa tunog kaya un, hehe..wala lang I just felt na I share to sayo..thank you for your videos, more power 🥰😍
