I am an engineer in trade now for over 15 years and it felt like Christmas when the hackpack arrived. Amazing integration and made me feel like a kid again.
ditto - was like someone rolled back time to 10yr old me on Christmas morning and my first Erector set.
CSE student myself. It's a beautiful step to teach people Hardware and Software integration.
Mark! Your crunch lab boxes have been such a joy to build with my son. Thank you for your expertise and constant excitement for learning. 🎉 We watch ALL of your videos.
He is so inspired by you, he LOVES science and you have made it more exciting for the entire family.
just received and assembled mine. i'm so glad that you developed an adult version of the kiddie projects. even though i've been coding since a billion years ago, i've never programmed a microcontroller and servos 😊
This is absolutely awesome. Ive been building CrunchLab boxes with my kids and was always jealous!
This was the perfect thing 🎉
Awesome project. I’m a data scientist and have been coding in Python and R for almost 10 years. I’ve been wanting to get into arduino for several years now but haven’t known where to start. Just finished building it and I’m hooked! My 3rd grade son has been doing crunch labs since the beginning and has grown immensely, but is wanting to learn more about coding. Hack packs will be the perfect project for us to work on together.
This was so fun to build and mess around with I just got my appendix removed and couldn’t do much so this was great
this is just beautiful. the first crunch lab build kits teaches us about pure mechanics while hackpack combines the mechanical side of the product with electronics side. ❤
Cant wait for mine to arrive!
This is so exciting! Great to see these fascinating projects finally targeting a more mature audience, it sounds so fun to learn from :)
Never make these videos private. It even entices people to buy your boxes.
Yeah, I'd love to be able to watch these videos, they're so good
I can see where you’re trying to go with this, but these videos are more meant to be tutorials on how to assemble what’s inside the boxes, not for entertainment.
its not private anymore
The point is that if you get the stuff you can watch these videos
Mark never fails to entertain us!
I wish this was available internationally.
It is
@@Beneatslolly sadly it's only avaliable in the US and Canada
@@arthurbissi technically international
@@shout-message yeah, but i meant for like countries in Europe and others
Mark never fails to put out bangers 🔥
Project based learning to an other level. Unfortunately, I live in the EU and can't buy the product. But thanks to you I've been inspired :)
same
Just wondering why is it that you cannot buy it?
@@strifedimauro4327 they only ship to us and Canada
@@strifedimauro4327It’s only available in the US and Canada
Dear Mark, what do you think of the idea of making a robot similar in design to Chopsticks, but instead of a piano it will be a whole drum kit?
I like Dan. He seems cool 😊
I just ordered mine, so exited! Thanks mark
Im glad you make education actually fun!!
Did anyone else instantly subscribe to the HavkPack?😁😁😁
Was thinking about this last week, so excited it came out now! Please make it available in Europe/Intl 🙏
I love learning stuff❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi
I really liked the turret.
and I just want to buy the turret
Would it be possible to buy just the turret?
:)thanks
Thinking like a engineer
Love the new idea
I NEED THIS, AND I'M GETTING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This looks awesome already ordered
What if u make the rubber band stronger?
Where can I buy a hackpack
Nice job. Really impressive what you all put together, here. Looking forward to trying it myself someday.
I did not have a box LOL
Amazing!
I don't have the box but i can watch the video. ❤
I need this
At 17:33, if the robot doesn't know the servo angle, how is it able to fire a single shot?
Does the single-shot firing work reliably all the time?
There are 6 on the cylinder, evenly spaced so that firing one is just a single 60-degree spin of the cylinder to move the clip holder over the launch trip.
@@clintsimmons1786 My understanding is you can't spin RC servo by exactly-or-approximately 60 degrees because the potentiometer got removed from the servo to enable 360-degree movement.
@@sarun37823 yea, that seems true. The single-push is just spins it in approximately that amount. If you hold the push longer it spins more, do a quicker push and it'll take 2 pushes to move it past the trigger point.
So cool!!!
Wow dope
Hi mark I’m your first comment and this video helped
i dont have a hack pack, im honestly just here to understand how a ir remote works
I didn’t buy it but I just saw this video
How do you charge the battery pack?
There is a USB-C port on the battery pack you can charge with.
Do i need to charge the battery?
Mine was charged.
i want one
torquier?? that a word? ;) great products guys!!!
Software engineer Students, it is the perfect tools to train what i will learn
buying one instantly. I had a arduino but i didn't know how to code on it or what to do with it. hopefully that will change.
I recently got a micro bit which is a small device you can code thats kind of like the Arduino but smaller and comes with buttons and sensors and I'm thinking of coding the micro bit to work with every single one of these Hack Packs
The big one at the FRC event was cool to see
Love the idea can you make one we’re u can buy own parts and just have instructions, just don’t have a lot money would be awesome to get into these projects.
engineer gaming
i love you
Pov you randomly found this video
My remote is not working with the turret. Does anyone have any suggestions?
@@thechunwuthx. That is a really useful tip.
@@mattburke7151 What was the tip? Looks like they deleted their comment. I too am having an issue with the remote.
Same here, what advice did you receive?
Samsies. I checked the 3V battery in the remote and it was over 3V so it’s not the batt. What was the tip @thechunwu?
@@GetYourRyOn I verified that the battery worked too in some other remote I had. This was after connecting the board to my computer and downloading the necessary drivers. I put everything back and reconnected the power supply and it just worked.🤷
is this only for the us?
us and canada
I just got this video on my recommendation feed
Mark Robot, thats smart, i like that
How do you get it?
👍
To bad you are not shipping to EU :/ , hope it will be soon for EU available
i hope
I still don't understand how the magnetic bullets work i mean how is the bullet released ,cause i don't see how is the end of the bullet released so that it can fire, pls explain
Okay from what I can tell the bullets are connected via electromagnets and when the magnets turn off the rubber band launches it.
It’s even simpler. Remember in the video when testing the bullets? You push the rubber band in the back up. The firing plate has a little point right at the top. So when the barrel rotates, the back rubber band is pushed up by that little point. No magnets or power needed.
i dont understand and need some help when i plug in the microcontoler to my laptop it does not show as connected
You have to read the directions under the Arduino Crash Course Video in the coding page
Uhhh… I don’t have the hack pack…
Make robot arm, Is gonna be amazing.
hey mark, you might want to make a video about building your own 50 mill subscriber plaque on your mark rober channel with another youtuber. make it look like a piece of engine complex mechanical device or whatever
please make it available in EU 🙏
i dont have a hack pack but im still watching i dont know how
Is this mark rover?
I'm 47 and I want one!
Does anyone know if I can buy just one box?
hello there again
Hi
