Make a LUMBER CART from x1 SHEET of plywood (incl. FREE plans & CUTTING LIST) |Gideon Made It | Ep.7

I built this simple rolling lumber cart from a single sheet of plywood.

It makes a big difference in keeping your wood workshop tidy and can store a surprisingly big amount of lumber.
There are two sizes; the maximum size cart you can get from a single sheet of 18mm (3/4") plywood/mdf and the one I built in this video which is slightly narrower.
This is a very simple build. The cutting list can be handed to any saw operator at a hardware store offering to cut boards and they can cut all the pieces for you. All that is needed then is to put it all together.

Nice video! Good luck finding a person at the Home Depots around Memphis to cut your wood. Most of the time the saws are "Out of Order".

Hi Glen, it’s Wolfcraft. The plastic stop loosens which means it is not perfectly square so I’ll be replacing it at some point. I wouldn’t recommend getting it.

Hello Alastair. Thanks,I’m glad you like it. The link bit.ly/GMIFreePlans takes you to an shared Google Drive folder. It contains PDFs of the cutting list. If you print this and take it to your lumber dealer, they should be able to cut it for you.

Thanks for the cutting list. It would be REALLY helpful if you can have another one in inches. The cutting list confused the hell outta the big orange staff but we still managed to get things cut correctly!
