The last time i visited London, T5 hadn't been built yet and i arrived at T4, when i go to London again i'm gonna spend my enjoyable time at T5 videoing, taking pics, drinking aromatic coffee, eating delectable foods...
I was at Terminal 5 from Buenos Aires to continue to Saint Petersburg. I was amazed. What a wonderfull airport, what very well organize: I enjoy my scale there. Greetings.

To Both. Again loved the programme. I am from Northern England and fly to BKK about 4/ 5 times a year. I usually fly KLM to Schipol then into BKK . I Sometimes fly business class outward ( night flight ) and economy return. I am not fond of Heathrow and less so on British Airways. From your programmes I have decided to treat myself to business class flying with Finnair from UK to BKK. I thought the airline looked really good ( even tough you reviewed short haul) and Helsinki airport and lounge looked fabulous . Keep up the excellent work. Cheers Harry

We will arrive at Terminal 5 when we arrive from Schiphol next May 19th The very next day we leave from Terminal 3 on the way to Gibraltar and arrive back at Terminal 3 on May 22. Then it's back to Terminal 5 the next day for an early morning flight to Gothenburg. So I watch all the videos concerning Heathrow - and the other airports that we will be passing through - Charles de Gaulle, Dublin, Marrakech, Gothenburg and Zurich. Schiphol is well know to us since we have been there many times visiting the oldest son!

Boy, the departure guide seems a lot more convoluted than the arrival. Because I’ll be dropped off at the airport and then have no help getting to a drop off gate self check in which I have never done, and sometimes I need wheelchair assist. I will be able to use the BA lounge, but still it looks a little more scary

I was stuck in Heathrow for 8 hours because my airlines computers went down worldwide! When the father of a bride, whose wedding was to be in Greece, complained about a $7.00 bottle of water... ...is when I chose only to survive on my two granola bars! Heathrow does look more inviting now 👀

Ahh..Heathrow and London, my favourite destination...once upon a time! Now my favourite 'go to' place is Singapore. Terminal 5 looks huge, so many shops...it seems you can spend 3/4 hours here easily, just like in a huge shopping mall. Nice.

Depends on the ultimate destination on your ticket and if it's a partner airline such as in One World, Skyteam, Star Alliance. Lets say you flew British Airways from Delhi to LHR, then American Airlines LHR to JFK. American and BA are both OneWorld alliance and if your booking said Delhi - JFK then no, no baggage reclaim.
For some reason I’ve not seen this video maybe I was just new to the channel . I’ve not even been in terminal 5 Heathrow and I live 20 mins away . I love the airport but seem to hardly fly from there. It’s a nice terminal 👍 last day to relax back to work tomorrow. Put a new kitchen blind up so mags happy
Good morning Kieron! Funny to hear that you have not been to Heathrow T5 yet. We can recommend having a a coffee there and just watching the planes as a visitor. Well done with the window blind, here in Scandinavia the time will soon be coming when all curtains and blinds must be functioning as we are going towards summer which means long summer light nights! I (Maxi) am a little slower with answering comments these past few days as I am working hard to finish a longer Trip Report which hopefully will be ready by the weekend. Great tour throughout T5, I really enjoyed this one as it is the terminal that I have passed through every time I visited/passed through Heathrow. I totally missed that Harry Potter store though, wish I would have seen that the last time I was there!! Maybe next time 😄

I'm glad you enjoyed Heathrow, my last experience of Heathrow was not so good and the BA 777 flight to, then Dongmag Bkk, was my worst ever long hua flight. 12 hrs with my knees in the back of the seat in front. On the return journey BA tried to tell me I could change my seat at the gate. The staff at the gate said differently, I refused to bord until I had an exit seat with some leg room. Emirates, Lufthansa, Eva, Etihad, Qatar, China Airlines and Klm no problem only "my National airline ". Annoying and embarrassing.
Hi there Derek, thanks for watching and commenting on our London Heathrow Terminal 5 tour. We are sorry to hear about your legroom issues on the BA 777, I (Maxi) have had that issue with Qatar Airways on their Dreamliner from Copenhagen to Doha and with my over 6 ft height it was not fun (the Qatar Airways Airbus A350 aircraft was fantastic). It´s years since I (Maxi) have flown BA Long-haul (used to fly between Capetown/Heathrow) and back then the Economy Class product was very good. That said we have recently heard from others that they were not particularly happy with their experience onboard the BA777 either. We hope that we will get the chance to do a Trip Report of the British Airways Boeing 777 on a long haul flight in the future, and will definitely remember to pay attention to legroom in the Economy Class cabin. @@TravellerYT The only thing that has changed is the Flight Connections passenger flow. Around 2014/15 the old FCC was demolished, a temporary Flight Connections Centre was built next to Gate 23, and about 2 years ago or so the new permanent FCC was completed. That section, and only that section, looks more like T2 and T5 now.

Oh I (Maxi) see. Well there is Changi Airport (Singapore), Zurich Airport (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur Airport (Malaysia), Seoul Incheon Airport (South Korea) there are plenty :-D Hope that answers your question better.
@@nothingimpossible2852 Las Vegas McCarran Airport also has a train, but the distances are much shorter and it isn't as necessary as it is at Heathrow. I think Seattle/Tacoma also has a train.
Your video is so helpful. I haven't used this terminal before. If Iam in the check in area and put my luggage in the self bag drop, Can I go to the Departure area using the lift instead the escalator? How can I get to the lift if I am in the check in area?

We have not flown British Airways Long Haul for quite a few years so it would not be fair to make a comparison. We did however fly twice with Qatar Airways last year and did enjoy their onboard service. We flew on their Dreamliner and brand new at the time Airbus A350. Only negative with their Dreamliner was the very squashed Economy Class which is easily felt by those of us over 6 Feet. Qatar is a good airline but I (Maxi) will try to avoid long-haul flights on their Dreamliners. Thanks for watching our video and we wish you a good day :-D

There are always shopping opportunities and nice places to sit for a drink , snack or meal. To Both. Again loved the programme. I am from Northern England and fly to BKK about 4/ 5 times a year. I usually fly KLM to Schipol then into BKK . I Sometimes fly business class outward ( night flight ) and economy return. I am not fond of Heathrow and less so on British Airways. From your programmes I have decided to treat myself to business class flying with Finnair from UK to BKK. I thought the airline looked really good ( even tough you reviewed short haul) and Helsinki airport and lounge looked fabulous . Keep up the excellent work. Cheers Harry

We will arrive at Terminal 5 when we arrive from Schiphol next May 19th The very next day we leave from Terminal 3 on the way to Gibraltar and arrive back at Terminal 3 on May 22. Then it's back to Terminal 5 the next day for an early morning flight to Gothenburg. So I watch all the videos concerning Heathrow - and the other airports that we will be passing through - Charles de Gaulle, Dublin, Marrakech, Gothenburg and Zurich. Schiphol is well know to us since we have been there many times visiting the oldest son!

Boy, the departure guide seems a lot more convoluted than the arrival. Because I’ll be dropped off at the airport and then have no help getting to a drop off gate self check in which I have never done, and sometimes I need wheelchair assist. I will be able to use the BA lounge, but still it looks a little more scary

Ahh..Heathrow and London, my favourite destination...once upon a time! Now my favourite 'go to' place is Singapore.
Terminal 5 looks huge, so many shops...it seems you can spend 3/4 hours here easily, just like in a huge shopping mall. Nice.

We absolutely have to agree with you on that, Singapore has also become our favorite place to visit, both the city and the amazing Changi Airport with all it´s facilities. I had been in T5 in 2012 when my flight was flying back to Seattle on British Airways B747-400. It was before briexit.

Depends on the ultimate destination on your ticket and if it's a partner airline such as in One World, Skyteam, Star Alliance. Lets say you flew British Airways from Delhi to LHR, then American Airlines LHR to JFK. American and BA are both OneWorld alliance and if your booking said Delhi - JFK then no, no baggage reclaim.
For some reason I’ve not seen this video maybe I was just new to the channel . I’ve not even been in terminal 5 Heathrow and I live 20 mins away . I love the airport but seem to hardly fly from there. It’s a nice terminal 👍 last day to relax back to work tomorrow. Put a new kitchen blind up so mags happy
Good morning Kieron! Funny to hear that you have not been to Heathrow T5 yet. We can recommend having a a coffee there and just watching the planes as a visitor. Well done with the window blind, here in Scandinavia the time will soon be coming when all curtains and blinds must be functioning as we are going towards summer which means long summer light nights! I (Maxi) am a little slower with answering comments these past few days as I am working hard to finish a longer Trip Report which hopefully will be ready by the weekend. Great tour throughout T5, I really enjoyed this one as it is the terminal that I have passed through every time I visited/passed through Heathrow. I totally missed that Harry Potter store though, wish I would have seen that the last time I was there!! Maybe next time 😄

I'm glad you enjoyed Heathrow, my last experience of Heathrow was not so good and the BA 777 flight to, then Dongmag Bkk, was my worst ever long hua flight. 12 hrs with my knees in the back of the seat in front. On the return journey BA tried to tell me I could change my seat at the gate. The staff at the gate said differently, I refused to bord until I had an exit seat with some leg room. Emirates, Lufthansa, Eva, Etihad, Qatar, China Airlines and Klm no problem only "my National airline ". Annoying and embarrassing.
Hi there Derek, thanks for watching and commenting on our London Heathrow Terminal 5 tour. We are sorry to hear about your legroom issues on the BA 777, I (Maxi) have had that issue with Qatar Airways on their Dreamliner from Copenhagen to Doha and with my over 6 ft height it was not fun (the Qatar Airways Airbus A350 aircraft was fantastic). It´s years since I (Maxi) have flown BA Long-haul (used to fly between Capetown/Heathrow) and back then the Economy Class product was very good. That said we have recently heard from others that they were not particularly happy with their experience onboard the BA777 either. We hope that we will get the chance to do a Trip Report of the British Airways Boeing 777 on a long haul flight in the future, and will definitely remember to pay attention to legroom in the Economy Class cabin. @@TravellerYT The only thing that has changed is the Flight Connections passenger flow. Around 2014/15 the old FCC was demolished, a temporary Flight Connections Centre was built next to Gate 23, and about 2 years ago or so the new permanent FCC was completed. That section, and only that section, looks more like T2 and T5 now.

There are many airports with airport to city connections Bangkok, Zurich, Copenhagen, Helsinki etc. Hope that answers your question?
No I don't mean airports that connect to the city. I mean the one that transfers to different buildings.
Oh I (Maxi) see. Well there is Changi Airport (Singapore), Zurich Airport (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur Airport (Malaysia), Seoul Incheon Airport (South Korea) there are plenty :-D Hope that answers your question better.
@@nothingimpossible2852 Las Vegas McCarran Airport also has a train, but the distances are much shorter and it isn't as necessary as it is at Heathrow. I think Seattle/Tacoma also has a train.

So which one u found very good service like really no.1 Qatar airways or British airways ???
We have not flown British Airways Long Haul for quite a few years so it would not be fair to make a comparison. We did however fly twice with Qatar Airways last year and did enjoy their onboard service. We flew on their Dreamliner and brand new at the time Airbus A350. Only negative with their Dreamliner was the very squashed Economy Class which is easily felt by those of us over 6 Feet. Qatar is a good airline but I (Maxi) will try to avoid long-haul flights on their Dreamliners. Thanks for watching our video and we wish you a good day :-D
