Peter I can only imagine the footage you had to work with was daunting. Whoever is editing deserves an award. The choice to keep it loose and relaxed made it magical despite whatever limitation you were faced with. Once again, great production; always a class act.
This is my home airport lol Cool video though! glad everything went alright Why do you come down often to West Palm, do you have a second home here or just cause?
@@DanknDerpyGamer The last airport to suffer from a hole in the runway found out the A340-600 caused it because it landed too hard. The pencil plane requires some pretty solid concrete before landing.
Having worked the ramp at FLL for 20+ yrs, lightning and the ground surfaces do battle more often than you might think. Usually a hole the size of a bread plate can be repaired with a fast set blacktop patch and be back open in half an hour. Blowing a runway light fixture out of the runway tho is a lot bigger issue, esp if there has been underground wiring fried too.
Soooo cute, great video. Wish I could get my 95 year old dad over to PBI and pop him on a plane to La Guardia! Been 5 years since he's flown but I want to get him back to New York once more time!.
That stinks. I’m shocked they couldn’t use the 6,000+ ft crosswind rwy because Midway makes do with that length. Do you know why they couldn’t use that one? I’m assuming it was the wind but I’m sure it was semi-favorable???
Great video, Peter. I love it when your dad is on. Glad all turned out well and your dad was rewarded with a nighttime view of Manhattan.
Thanks so much!

Thanks! I do all the editing myself!
@@PeterMasella impressive, great work and great choices with this one.

A hole in the runway? Hole-y crap! (ba-bum tshsshsssss! 😁😂)
In all seriousness, glad it was a light fixture, and that the damage wasn't worse.
lol

What an experience! Hope it wasn't too frustrating for Dr. Peter!
He made it through!
Ah! This is classic S Fl weather! Great -and quite realistic - video!
Many thanks!

I’m glad they were able to get it fixed!
I rode on N3755D before from Boston to Seattle back in July of 2021.
So cool!
Music reminds me of the Dark Shadow soap opera from the 60's! Cool!
Love seeing your Dad. ❤
Thanks! He’s enjoying doing this!

When was this ?
Thanks for this video. Is it possible instead of suming up the comms can you feature the exact words of all the comms? And your dad is great!
Thanks for watching! Due to the poor capture quality I don’t know the exact words which is why I summed it up.
At least got a free hour as daylight savings times ended Sat. Night/Sunday AM
This was filmed a few weeks ago

The crosswind runway was closed already by NOTAM.
@@PeterMasellaDo you think the flight path might have crossed too near Mar ALargo, and the Secret Service had a no fly zone established ?
@@tallmansfavorites7563 Yes it did but I don't think the no fly zone goes that high.
Doesn’t
Ever
Leave
The
Airport
when the plane taxied back to the gate thats when the pilot should have added the fuel not the later after your dad had reboarded
Good idea!
Sinkhole??
