Seriously. I hate that they use rare candies to level them up instead of level grinding too. They only skip the trainer battles because they immediately level themselves up to the next level cap so they have no need to grind. It makes the whole thing way too easy.

By your logic, the same would apply to a single player nuzlocke so in order to save time, everyone should just have an infinite stack of rare candies to immediately boost the team up to the next level cap. That way they can save time instead of doing pesky things like growing their team or embracing the artificial difficulty.
