Right now the boombox is $360 and the w king is $320. $40 is far cheaper?

@@Jagistreviewsthat’s not what’s being compared here. 😂 there’s no difference in audio quality between the WiFi and Bluetooth jbl. It’s literally the same. He has the Bluetooth not WiFi. You’re making a narrative to suite your argument. Price for price. $360 to $320 ain’t a big deal. Now if we doing coupes and renewed. It’s a $100 difference with the JBL being $320 and w being $220. Then it’s a $100 difference. Which it’s worth it.
Just picked one up for 215 before tax :) 233 total, it’ll be my beach boombox lol. Can’t wait! I been using 2 motion booms I hope this thing can compete

@@mr.perfect5354 To be honest with you, I’m not really sure, since I use mine at 50% volume & louder outside. What I can tell you is that at the loudest volumes, it sounds really good with very little to no distortion.

I was curious and just received the W-king X20
Quickly, it does not replace the Boombox3, it really lacks too much finish in high especially with the bass boost..
I'm going to have to listen to it longer to get used to it but the boombox3 with the EQ adjustment for extra bass honestly gives a better result..
Yes for the price it is surprising but if it is not a question of price.. I am really not sure... certainly it has more midrange but the bass of bb3 is more punchy I find in the room..
Im still in the process of doing the review, but this thing is great so far, im glad you got your hands on it
I think it's a winner. Definitely could use some EQ for the discerning listener, but for literally everyone else, it's fantastic right out of the box!
@NewStuffTV2 100% agree with you, I had to eq this speaker because it was to bass lite out the box in my personal experience. Then, I use a custom EQ with the bass boost mode to have a good melody as well. My favorite part it Charges 60 watts in and out 😁However my favorite sounding speaker is the Harman Kardon Go Plus Play 3 I got 2 of em on sale going for as low as 138$ after tax and the other one 200$, besides the build quality I really think you should get one on sale eventually

I never really thought a shoulder strap was that big of a deal until I had to bring a speaker, a cooler and a couple bags down to a pool.
And yeah, this x20 has kinda taken over from the ole faithful Boombox 2. It does 100% volume far better. Actually this thing does 100% volume better than almost any other BT speaker I have heard. I actually bought it to use as a rechargeable portable bass practice amp. It kinda isn't the best for that use but it does work in a pinch.
As a bluetooth speaker though, this thing blew me away.
It's only been out for a minute but it seems I have been waiting forever for your review on this beast. W-KING NEVER disappoints

These things need eq, but I just used a pair for an outdoor movie night with my jmgo n1 ultra. Amazing sound and the entire culdesac was able to enjoy nice and loud with solid bass
The app is the eq. He showed that early on and you can customize it

This speaker doesn’t get enough love. It’s objectively the loudest Bluetooth speaker you can buy that is still in the “Boombox” form factor. Anything louder is shaped like a box and is much heavier (which is saying something because the X20 is a hefty boy) AND with its driver setup, the X20 sounds good even at full volume instead of being super distorted.
Obviously for anyone price conscious, the X20 is a 10/10 value. There will still be diehard JBL fans who want more from a speaker than just performance. Things like a quality feel and style/status which is fine, the JBL gives you things, nothing wrong with that. lol there are plenty of overpriced underperforming things that I've bought for those reasons lol.
But I do feel that JBL needs to pick up their value proposition and do it fast. The Boom 2 that I just bought for $89 clearly outperforms the JBL extreme 4 which is almost $400.
250 watts would make this speaker explode under a second , it sounds like it can do 60 watts but that's it .

I had the bang max and it wasnt great, max volume there is distortion and the battery at full volume last roughly 3 hours

Alsp quick add not a fan of bass boost on this speaker i got it tuned dofferent for certain genres but bass boost muddies sound imo but Heck yea new stuff I asked this in one a your last videos remmy your d8 review but this speaker is fn amazing wkimg finally got some deep bass but mixed with killer mids and highs plus their app is phenomenal!!!!! Add in type c charging on back along with every other port ya can think of amd there ain't a better speaker made right now in my opinion!!!!! I don't regret one bit takin back a wifi bb3 f that buggy speaker lol and app
Thanks for watching! I personally still think the BB3 is better in the sound department, but the strap, USB-C, wider bottom, and larger buttons are something JBL could learn from to improve with the BoomBox 4
