I live in Hawaii and have since the 80's. I am doing my first island cruise on the Pride of America this December. I'm enjoying watching your videos. I wanted to share with you that your little "rock" you put on the sea wall is actually a piece of coral. Also, the sand that you picked up up had green sand in. Green sand consists of olivine jem stones. I could see it glistening in the sun. We have a beach on South Point that is made up of mostly olivine. It's beautiful. I'm glad you enjoyed our beautiful island.
Hello my new friends. I loved your Hawaiian tour. So glad you stopped at Kona. It’s my favorite place and island (Big Island). I spent 3 weeks last year in Kona, so nice to see all the locations you stopped along the way. 👏👏👍🌸🌸
Hi BrittanyC! ❤️ HAHA so true! Hawaii was a long journey when you include the Aulani days so it all started to run together! 😂 Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Hawaii is Soo beautiful and always great snorkeling. It's been about 10 years since we have been. I am feeling the itch to get back thanks to your vlogs
Hi Dawn! ❤️ It really is so beautiful! Such a special place. I'm so glad we were able to go with a lot of our family because it was such a fun trip. Now we just need to get Mom & Dad Hoffman over there! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Hi! We had our first group cruise this past summer but we are currently planning our next one! Will probably take place in 2025! We will make lots of announcements on UA-cam and Instagram when we are decided! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Wonderful videos! We are going to Hawaii in April 2025 for our 50th wedding anniversary. POA and Aulani like y'all. Please-what are the best water shoes for this trip? Do you have a video for here on what to pack? Thanks so much!!!
That’s awesome! You’ll have a great time! 😍 We don’t have a Hawaii specific packing video but the water shoes we always use are fantastic! Here’s the link to our Amazon shop, and you can find them under ‘apparel’. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢 Amazon.com/shop/HoffmanHappyTravels
Loving your videos! Couple of questions... were there options besides Lyft at port to get to rental car? Also, where did you park at the harbor in order to walk to the beach where you saw the turtles? Was there public availability in the parking areas?
Thanks so much! I'm sure there were taxis available at the port, we just didn't look for them since we had a rental car. Where we parked was over by the Honokohau Small Boat Harbor, at the 07:05 mark of the video Matt shows a map of how to get to that area! And yes, public parking was available, we didn't have to pay to park over there. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Hi, we will be in Kona this Christmas. Love the snorkeling part. Are there any more info for this location? Rental gear? Admission fee? Thanks. Happy Travel!
Hi! There is not an admission fee for the snorkeling, just a fee to park at the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Historical site and the price is at the 11:30 mark of the video. The snorkeling is right next door so you can walk over. There may be parking closer to the snorkeling but I'm not sure. We are also not sure if there is a location to rent snorkel equipment because we had our own. We hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Hi! We just ordered an Uber to take us from the port to the airport! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Is there a cost for tender tickets?
And what is the earliest time you can get tender tickets?
Hi! I don’t remember the earliest time on our sailing but the tender tickets are free! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
