So when you find fabric that you like how much fabric do you buy? Do you buy with a quilt in mind or do you shop when you like something? How do you pick out your fabrics? I use to buy the precuts but it is so limiting. ( I still do if I really like something but..)

It all depends on the situation. Sometimes I purchase a fabric just because I like it and when I really like it I will get anywhere from 3-5 yards if I have no plans. That gives me fabric to use in the center as well as fabric for a border. Picking fabrics is a personal choice. I go for something that speaks to me as a bold print or a focus and then find tone on tone prints in medium to small scale to coordinate with the print. Many times I am purchasing fabric with no plan in mind and just make sure that I get enough so that I have options when using it. I hope that this helps.

Hi Christine, We do not have a pattern for this. It is an older quilt and I am not sure where the pattern came from.

You can do that on UA-cam. There should be a CC icon on the right of your youtube video window. click it and it should turn them off.
