@@loleh5959SPOILERS: He uses the same kind of alchemy that the person who caused the fall of Khaenri'ah (Gold, who created Durin and the bigger wolf enemies with that corrosion effect). In a quest he asks if we are willing to stop him if he ever loses control and attacks, meaning he knew it might/would happen at some point.
