      *_Ohyeah, you made that "Underwater World". I sub'd back then. But YT has that bug that removes subs for me, so I haven't watched any of your videos since._*

      @RPRsChannel That sucks... YT is very difficult as it is, especially when you guys don't even get my videos in your feed. Either way nice to have you back.

    What a journey. Story telling is amazing! When you started at 12am, I was like whoa he's going all out. Then the next things was, I'm going to sleep 😂 Awesome video Troy. Result is great. Without the video I don't think I would have believed that you did it in 24 hours.

    I really think it would be cool if Jeremy, Troy and maybe Ash Barker from Guerrilla Miniatures, got together for some gaming or panels at a convention. I’m thinking Hal Con or Fan Expo.

    Great video! I haven't gotten the game to the table yet but these models are some of my favorites. They've just got such a great creepy feel and still really unique. You got more done in 24 hours than I'd pull off in a week! Well done!!
    Not just a time saver, but I've considered painting up my lost in a monochrome scheme. Maybe a hint of blue or green, but i think going black and white would really add to the feeling of them list and wandering.

      I agree. I mostly went with the flesh tone because i knew i could do it fast and that a brown contrast paint would look good on their robes, too.

    Given the time constraints I get that the paint jobs were basic. I think you could improve the lava look by stippling in some black in the yellow where you see those little lumps. It would give the impression of bits of detritus that is burned but not consumed by the lava. Just throwing it out there.

    • @FacilityD20
      @FacilityD20  Рік тому

    OH really now....Also... get a silicone spatula . Take the build plates off and tilt them... use that spatula to recover a mega amount of uncured resin rather than fill them paper towels full of good resin!

    • @FacilityD20
      @FacilityD20  Рік тому +1

      Thanks, I could definitely conserve my resin a lot better for sure.

      You can also use the silicon spatula instead of your finger to check the vat and fep for misprints

      Hard to say, making a game play video is a little hard.... and I'm not sure if the video would be received well. However, game play videos are something i wouls like to do, but since i moved i no longer have any gaming buddies.

    Great vid, very impressive turnout! Next time you get a little fail run a tank clean (or exposure test on older printers) with some old support in there to give you a handle. Lets you peel up the fail and also pulls out any loose bits that may be left in there.
