This is such a masterpiece, we need more recognition. I m gay from Pakistan, and I knew it since I was 8 years old and now i m 25. All these 17 years of my life have been spent in fear, with no one to talk to. My family want me to get married but i don't want to exchange one prison for another, nor do i want to ruin someone else life. I hope one day I can be with someone I love, and hope that everyone can find someone who they are looking for. ❤
Marriage even for straight guys is like playing with a loaded gun pointed to your own head with the prevalence of high divorce rates; just be proud of being 🏳️🌈and pray that you find a sincere Gay lover who is faithful and discreet.
I want to give a special heads up to the LGBTQ people living in such a society, where they survive each day despite knowing being their real self can be so life-risking. I don't know whether they'd ever achieve the freedom to be who they are, but power to them for keeping their courage alive and I wish them the best to find a way out to the freedom and acceptance they deserve. And kudos to the movie for reflecting the real side of the hardships we LGBTQ people in South Asian societies face, and I hope one day we'd be as advanced as Canada or NZ when it comes to treating LGBTQ people with respect. 🏳️🌈

I just want to say one thing living in Pakistan and having a thinking like this is incredible. The thing is that in India people are accepting it gradually but in Pakistan I don't know. A lot of LGBT members are having a tough time and I hope the Pakistani government learns something and finally accepts it as a matter of fact and allow them to happily. To me I think that the new generation in Pakistan is not homophobic but the older generation ofcourse. This society will never accept it and I know it and the other thing is that this society doesn't even accept a girl and boy's affair so how can they even accept these relationships. Even though I am not gay I still respect them and support them. It really takes a man to step up and show what they believe in. Lots of love.
I don't think it has to do much with the government but the Islamic faith. Most Muslims are against the idea, otherwise, the Pakistani government is quite liberal in their approach as compared to other Muslim countries.
I don't understand how you all can think things are gradually changing in India; you don't live there. In the large cities things may be a bit better, but in rural places it is terrible. Even the police continue with their bad behaviour, just as they do with everybody else. A law is only as effective as it is applied. When family and society don't accept you, a law is no respite.

This short film is very meaningful, indeed. Characters' acting was wonderful and the plot is one of the commonest happenings in real life but, It hadn't been showed in any film I have watched till now. Congratulations from a country in South-américa !
Omg this short film! And espically the last part touched my heart. The expression on the face perfectly indicates the love and support needed by the people in our community but we are always been treated as a object deprived of emotions. But so is not the case. Sometimes a caring touch is what is needed like the way he understood the trauma when Ali hugged him.
Love this so much! I could literally feel jitters when the policemen came. Loved everything, from direction to writing to acting, everything. It's a masterpiece.
Woah! The film is beautiful. Even in the countries where the laws r passed ppl think of homosexuals or bisexuals as gross. Ik that not every person has this mentality but majority of ppl think like that and it's literally not right. No one can decide their sexuality but others can help them by supporting them. And in countries like Pakistan, where laws r not passes, homosexuals can't do anything but to accept what rules he society has set. I don't usually watch short films but I'm surely going to recommend this to my frnds ^_^
Came here after reading the article by advocate magazine. It's wonderful to see the word getting spread around the world and people from all places appreciating the beautiful movie that this one is. Rightfully deserves all praises. Hoping to see this on ott platforms, the whole team of this movie, take a bow and thank you!
The film is Inspirational and amazing i love it. Unfortunately in Pakistan that is the reality of homosexual's people who lived in a fear of persecution from authuorities. We should respect all people and treat equally to all them does not matter if they have diffrent perception or way of life .
Damn, this felt so real. Hats off to the actors they pulled it off so incredibly. I couldn't understand the ending, what happens to the massage guy afterward? Plus can we please get a secret gay love story? That would be awesome.
Thanks for making this film and highlighting homosexuals and their issues in Pakistan. Love from gay Pakistani-American. Hopefully my country of origin will change its views on us.

I am so grateful to all Queer activists of India who fought for the decriminalization of Homosexuality.
Our so-called Indian gay web-series directors should mandatorily see this short film and learn something from it. The rubbish that they churn out gives the gay community such a bad name that it is shameful. This short film is a great effort and everyone - actors, directors and technical staff - deserve praise. A truly moving film: it also showcases the natural and perpetual advantage of being from a superior social class and the vulnerability of belonging to the one that is inferior- in more ways than one, as scorchingly epitomised in the climax, no matter what the setting. An absolutely fantastic rendition and depiction of the cinema (as a concept of film-making as a whole)!! Thank you, and love and blessings from India.

In my opinion, it's so important that people lose their virginity with all kinds of protection. Sadly, this is nearly impossible in the kind of society we live in. Forget about homosexuality, people are not even aware of the risks associated with unprotected sex, the risk of not using lube etc. I can't stress enough as to how important it is to have sex with someone you know well, the importance of conversation, the importance of being clean of STDs, post sex clean up, condom-lube compatibility etc! So much to know before the pleasure, lest the pleasure turn into a disaster. God bless us all! However, this was amazing. Acting, direction, script, dialogs, music - everything was on point. Very well executed!
Good concept.... Hope Pakistan soon decriminalize homosexuality... We can't even openly love someone, we can't show our care, love , give comfort to that person in openly..
I really enjoyed this film.. it harshly depicts the the society we live, the world around u in the light as well as in the dark.. hope for more such movies from Pakistan ❤️🖤

A lot of comments here pointing out the stupidity of the Victorian-era homophobic laws that are still in place, and which must be repealed as India did recently. But what I'm wondering is that even if these laws were struck down, we're taking about an Islamic country and so when will that change in attitude also take place?

This short film is very meaningful, indeed. Characters' acting was wonderful and the plot is one of the commonest happenings in real life but, It hadn't been showed in any film I have watched till now. Congratulations from a country in South-américa !
Thank you, Samuel.
Yes Jayant, you are right, community deserves the love and respect. Thanks for watching.
Hi 😍❤️😘🥰🥰🥰🤘🇮🇳🫂

Love this so much! I could literally feel jitters when the policemen came. Loved everything, from direction to writing to acting, everything. It's a masterpiece.
Thank you, Hira. It means a lot to the team. 🌺🙏🏽
seeing this late but i love this!! pakistan needs more queer representation !
thank you
@@iqran we would love to see more of your work on queer short films !!
Thank you, Nishita ♥️🌺 we are glad you liked our film.

Came here after reading the article by advocate magazine. It's wonderful to see the word getting spread around the world and people from all places appreciating the beautiful movie that this one is. Rightfully deserves all praises. Hoping to see this on ott platforms, the whole team of this movie, take a bow and thank you!
Thank you, Sahil. It means a lot.
The film is Inspirational and amazing i love it. Unfortunately in Pakistan that is the reality of homosexual's people who lived in a fear of persecution from authuorities. We should respect all people and treat equally to all them does not matter if they have diffrent perception or way of life .
Congrats on the very well made short film! I hope noone involved is getting in danger because of this in Pakistan.

Damn, this felt so real. Hats off to the actors they pulled it off so incredibly.
I couldn't understand the ending, what happens to the massage guy afterward?
Plus can we please get a secret gay love story? That would be awesome.

Oh God, My heartbeat increased after I saw this. I am feeling devastated and bad for all Pakistani Gays and Gays in other Muslim countries. It must be so difficult. I am a Gay man from India and I always think that my life is difficult wish I was born in Europe but then I see the condition of Gays in Muslim countries. I am so grateful to all Queer activists of India who fought for the decriminalization of Homosexuality.

Thank you so much 😀 also, share it with your friends and fam!
Our so-called Indian gay web-series directors should mandatorily see this short film and learn something from it. The rubbish that they churn out gives the gay community such a bad name that it is shameful. This short film is a great effort and everyone - actors, directors and technical staff - deserve praise. From India - well done!
Thank you so much, Kushal for your kind words. It means a lot, I am glad you liked my and team's work. And you have no idea how much I appreciate all the love we are getting from India. ❤️

Hi 😍❤️😘🥰🤘🇮🇳
Completely agree with what you said, Nabarun. Thank you.

A lot of comments here pointing out the stupidity of the Victorian-era homophobic laws that are still in place, and which must be repealed as India did recently. But what I'm wondering is that even if these laws were struck down, we're taking about an Islamic country and so when will that change in attitude also take place?
Yes, I get what you are saying. But even in Islamic societies sexuality was more fluid than under Victorian law. They saw sexuality in binary bus.
@@iqran I think the comment was made towards Pakistan only, which is true and I agree. I do hope one day LGBT folks are not persecuted... Maybe after few decades. Things are already changing gradually...
