Never did I imagine when I started looking at paracord bracelets that my old favourite embroidery stitch (herringbone as it's called here) would be such a perfect match, but it really works well. I used a large-eyed needle rather than a fid because it's just so much easier.
For a fun "extra credit" thing for people who want to experiment: use different colours on the different passes, and alternate so that the second pass goes above some of the strands from the first, and below others. One of my absolutely favourite techniques.

It's a beautiful stitch. I'd suggest using an embroidery needle for the micro cord. It's SO much easier.
In similar future stitching tutorials, you could just use a short section of your long cord to demonstrate the knot, then go back and pull it through later either off camera, or fast forward.
Thanks for your tutorials, Tim. I always look forward to them. : )

    Tim,
Thanks so much for sharing this design! I used a black bracelet with yellow micro cord. It is really awesome! With Memorial Day and July 4th approaching, I am going to try a white bracelet with red Micro cord in one direction and blue micro cord on the return. Not sure how it will look but it is worth a try! Thanks again!!!

9:41 it’s ok man we understand, and anybody who is experienced with Paracord would be able to relate, it is just something that always happens no need to apologize

I personally would recommend a fid that is for micro cord
