- Every sundays, most of the "otaku" cosplayers in Tokyo come out to put on a show in Akihabara. One day, vendingmachine-shaped robots were dancing with "otaku" dancers and dispense some free drinks for them. It is hot as hell here.
Thirteen years later I finally got to visit. It had changed a bit but still really cool.
Damn, this gives me such a nostalgic feeling....

@dumbestbaka, that's because this video is filmed in front of yodabashi camera's massive store - not really the part of Akiba that otaku's really spend any time at.
this reminds me of the crazy dancing girl on the road in tokyo

@antijelly is that a raywilliamjohnson reference by any chance?
Literally, "Otaku" means "hello, sir" and was used by fans in shops in Akihabara who would recognize each other but never bothered to learn each other's names. Generally, it is used to label someone as an Anime geek.
@ZeroShikiRev i agree
Otaku for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would totally dress up as that soda machine. It looks so awsome! LOLOLOL
IDK but it seems that they were nervous, the had to say it with more courage!!
We are proud to be Otaku!!!!!!
Why would anyone hate Otaku? I may not be into it as much as these guys but you can certainly tell they are happy!
well what can i say, they know how to dance
Recently, otaku means a specialist of something what you like.
