This means a lot to me - what a beautiful scene to finish. I am stuck in Australia, wanting to return to family in Mississauga & Toronto. in May 2019 at Jack Darling Park I saw 2 swans nesting with 5 eggs across the channel from there. Very special. Thanks for bringing me home for a while Johnny.

I love it when Johnny breaks traffic laws. Kids, Johnny is a turd. Most cycling adults are smelly turds, devoid of laws, ethics and a conscience. Their pride and street cred shine brightly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kids, don't be a turd. be safe and obey all traffic laws. Or else you get hit. OK? Traffic laws save your ass. Not now, but in the future. OK?

Thank you so much for doing this video! I live in Mississauga and I've done this exact route probably like 7-8 times in the summer of 2020, and I'll probably do it even more times in 2021 since I was lucky enough to be able to get the bike I really wanted (had to drive to Ottawa to get it, but it was worth it!). Also, I agree with your comment about recumbent bikes; every time I see one, I think it's CJ Hoyle lol. Looking forward to more of your cycling videos in the spring!

Hi Johnny, we just saw this last night and we noticed that you had recorded our old apartment in the video, my hubby and I were so excited to see it, in Toronto, when we lived there from 1987 to June 1990. It was the apartment, at the very end of the bike route, on the right hand side before getting onto the Lakeshore west....You could see our living room window and where we parked our car....We are in Mississauga north of Square One now near Highway 10.

" Old marina" you mentioned at Humber Bay (31:42) is actually wetlands that include Beaver dams. Wooden raised walkways for viewing fish, herons etc. Liked this narrated ride, parts of which I ride regularly from High Park to New Toronto to visit friends at Big Guy's Little Cafe, Lakeshore Road near 5th Street. Great coffee and pastries!

Buddy, thius was my regular route, but in the opposite direction! I haven't enjoyed my cycling since I left the West End. Either way, thank you for this video and pushing me to go ride today. It's been a struggle wanting to go for a ride, but needing to load it in my car each time. I no longer live in a good cycling neighborhood. At 46:40: 13th street and Lakeshore Blvd, the white building to your left is where I grew up and spent 35 years of my life living! My rent for a 2-bedroom apartment facing the lake in 2017 was $1400/mo all inclusive! The moment I moved out when my mom passed, it jumped to $1800 plus utilities and parking, and now I'm sure even more! I used to bike downtown from there several times a week, and I had a friend pushing me to my limits - couldn't have done it without him. Lost 50Lbs one summer.

@@martinkent333 on my commute there aren't any stop signs. There's the 2 just before Bathurst that I slow down for but in 3 years of commuting there's been a car there maaaaaybe 4 times. So I've fully come to a stop 4 times at those intersections. Otherwise traffic lights are non negotiable, unless there's no pedestrian crossing/sensor
