Even 96-98, 98-00, and 00-03 were such massive and brilliant leaps. Very much on par with the Beatles would evolve between albums - often 9-12 months apart. Deftones are special in that way.
HOLY SHIT. thank you so much for this absolute rarity!!!! EDIT: I watched the whole thing! What a blast. Birthmark was way different, higher guitar notes for sure. It's also now the first time we know the song was played live I think (Before it was Nile Theater '95)? Same goes for Minus Blindfold and One Weak (Before it was Ruthless Inn two months later). According to my archives at least. First and only live VIDEO of Venison and Hump too. The last song is Hump, not Some People. Chino even shoutouts John Taylor, who was in the band when they wrote "Hump". It also made me tear up, when Chino hugged Chi after Like Linus. Thanks again for this release! Shows from this timeframe were very special I feel like, they were playing for years at this point, so tight, but still very young and driven. This was right between Berkeley Square '94 and Ruthless Inn '94, crazy!
Bro! You just blew everyone’s mind with this one! Pretty rare and amazing show! 🤯 what a surprise in 2025, thanx! EDIT: Maaaaan! That Chino’s hug to Cheng in the end of Like Linus 😭❤️

Thx, didnt notice rape me at first. Crazy to think this was right after Kurts death!
The transformation this band made in 2 years from 1992-1994 is almost unbelievable.
Definitely my favorite era even though there’s so little documentation of it besides a couple interviews and a handful of shows
