My 7 month old foster son has been watching these videos with me since we met when he was 5 weeks old. If you could only see the BIGGEST smile he gets when he hears “hey guys” ❤
One of the things I love the most about your channel Laura , is how pleasant you are and how you and Aaron always show respect for each others opinions 😍
Laura! I need you to know that you are the reason I have had confidence to begin gardening. I am preparing a video of my progress over many years so show you the influence your channel has had on me. I thank the lord for you every day! Thank you!
Diana, There is a lady in the UK who is doing what you are: @ Murphy's Garden UA-cam. (Murphy is her dog) She attends many of England's garden estate shows, and the Chelsea Flower Show and copy/pastes an idea or two into her own garden. Watch her Murphy's Garden Spring Tour 2024 which is just up, different thoughts and suggestions. You're very welcome.
Aaron was cracking me up this video. Talking about the artemisia, the pine giving the finger and the smell of the boxwoods. I love watching Laura and Aaron work together, they both set a great example for the importance of a solid foundation of marriage.
Don't you all just love that Laura gets in there and doesn't expect the guys to do the planting and or digging? She's shows a love of all plants and trees. It's so inspiring. I planted 6 tomatoes and thought that was a good days work! 🤣
Part (just a part) of why I enjoy watching everyday, the shear excitement that Laura has when she sees any new plant, new growth, new flowers, for me, it is really a reminder to look and take it all in every day.
🤣Laura! “I wonder if I can sneak this tree in”. Can’t blame you,so beautiful. Those boxwoods look so nice and shiny. great job Paul and Aaron getting those all planted
Laura says may take a couple of days to get all these planted. Enter Aaron and Paul, done! 😂❤Then Samantha Grace " watch me"...she does it again..."I'm watching" so cute. "You're a climber", Aaron. Big smile for a three year old! Great job everyone!❤
Hello, i just wanted to come here and comment because you turned my wife into a gardening fiend. We started this winter with getting an indoor greenhouse setup and starting many of our plants from seed. She started a large perennial bed, native flower patch, another large garden, three raised vegetable beds, a greenstalk, and a variety of other plants, shrubs and trees around our house that we bought last year. This spring started off amazing, and we put in so much work for the start of our dream garden. Unfortunately, today, a huge hailstorm hit our neighborhood, and we lost every single plant we had. I know you read comments in your weekly recaps so if you could tell my wife (Sierra) that it will be okay that would be amazing. She is super torn up about it right now but some positive energy would be a huge help right now. We love your videos and thank you for being a source of joy for our family.
I am Sorry Sierra. 😢 It's sad and hard because you just did all that work/spent all that money. Hopefully, some plants will bounce back.. they can surprise us, sometimes.
I just wanted to say that I just finished a huge project of weeding, cutting back daffodil foliage and planting perennials and annuals and my new garden kneeling pad from you was a game changer. That pad is nice and large and soft , absolutely wonderful. Thank you for bringing this product to us.
I’m here on vacation at the Scandinavian countries but still watching Garden Answer before I go to sleep! If this is not addiction, I don’t know what is!
Benjamin is a wonderful little man. Samantha is a doll. Laura, I believe you are right about the haystacks on the fence looking congested. The boxwoods look wonderful.
Every day I sit down to have breakfast and watch your videos. It's like a routine that brings me joy. I love gardening and being in the southern hemisphere almost entering winter, watching you planting and sharing your beautiful garden helps me pass these cold, dark and rainy days while I plant my bulbs (not many thrive here in zone 9b almost 10) and make my plans for next spring. Thank you, guys, you're the best.
Love seeing the idea you and Aaron have become reality. Since the orchard got frozen.....what would the hay racks look like on the fences back that? Add some color etc? Then try the annuals for next year the? Fun. Great way to start my day. Thank you , have a blessed day and good job Benjamin and Samantha Grace.
OH it's going to be so beautiful! At least 6ft tall so you will not see the fence across the street. So cute Benjamin directing you 🤗 and Samantha it's so cute climbing all dressed up....girly girl 💕🩷 Blessings 🙏🏻💞
I hope you plant the new for 2025 Proven Winners annuals in the hay racks because it is the perfect way to see how these new annuals perform in containers. I plant containers for our lake association and ALWAYS use Proven Winners annual flowers for them. Every year people ask me what “magic” I use to get the flowers so big and beautiful and my answer is always the same……Proven Winners!!!!! 💕🌸🌼🌺
I noticed that while Paul added Biotone in the boxwood planting holes, Aaron did not on his side of the row. Wonder if that will affect their growth and if it will be noticeable over time, or if Biotone really just boosts the roots in the beginning. Another experiment!
Good morning, Laura ☕️ I love project day! Aaron & Paul work so well together! 💪🏻💪🏻That looks so awesome already. The Birch tree is beautiful 😍. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈🐈
Those are going to look so awesome. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate all the tips that you share with us in gardening. I love that you and Aaron compliment eachother in the projects y'all do. God Belss.
SUGGESTION: In the curved garden path area where you have that beautiful lemmony lace elderberry...do you think it might be crying out for a raised berm with a large boulder or two? A berm there would create a little bit of mystery for going around the bend toward the iron arches. You guys are having so much fun with this year's new plantings. Not sure who enjoys it more...you or us. You really know how to make us feel like we are part of your journey. Thanks! 💚😊💚
Love the hedge you guys put in!! But Aaron was cracking me up watching him knock over the cans to aug a hole then going back to plant the trees while Paul was doing each one by digging the hole then planting each one individually. Aaron has watched you to many times planting now that he plants the Laura way. You guys are so amazing!! Love watching how the kids are around learning as well. They are getting so big. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your family.♥️🤗🌹
That wall of boxwoods looks fantastic even now when they are smaller. And added bonus when it matures it will provide a privacy screen for people on that public access road looking into the garden. Win win! Thanks for sharing.
Morning Sweet Laura, Aaron, B-man,Paul,and Samantha Grace, I love your new placement and planting of your new beautiful trees. Such a beautiful back drop for all to have, on both sides of the fences. Your neighbors will also love them.Finding that new tree that you wanted, Sweet Laura, Its so perfect there. Please stay safe you all. Sending my love and God's blessings to everyone.Wanda In Bartlesville, Ok.
What a beautiful green wall the boxwoods make. Perfect for that fence. I love the new tree, it is perfect in that area of the south garden. What a joy to watch your videos each day, Thank you for sharing these. Have a blessed day everyone.
Look absolutely beautiful!! I planted my boxwoods so long ago and I can't remember what kind they are..I always thought the male cats in my neighborhood were spraying by them until I finally figured out it was actually The scent of the boxwoods....Lol
Maybe that’s what I’m smelling. Ever since we moved here 7 years ago I keep smelling whiffs of cat urine. Thought maybe neighbors were dumping their cat litter or spraying something to repel skunks and rabbits . Maybe they have some smelly boxwoods🤷♀️
Loving the joy you have in putting in these boxwoods. It's clear you love boxwoods! Got a question, Did Benjamin end up stealing your stick? It seems like a perfect sword!
Always amazing. That wall will be beautiful. Thank you Be jamin and Samantha for your appearance love watching you grow. Aaron and Paul make everything look so easy. How long did it actually take you to plant them all. Lovely music.❤❤❤
You drove that forklift with one hand like a professional (boos lady). So cool. Never even been near one so not sure if that’s difficult or easy but you made it look cool 😎
I'm from South Africa where I had a Copper Beech in my garden and loved it. I then moved to the UK and discovered these spectacular groves of Copper Beeches when I visited places like Blenheim Palace and loved them even more in all their grandeur - but now I've seen the Obelisk Beech I think I've fallen for it!!! It has such a rich colour - and what a perfect spot for it!! My new favourite......thank you for your videos and as I often say, as much as I love the content I also love watching the garden in the background and around you. Often have to stop to look, so that I don't miss your content!!!
I am so impressed with you ! I have learned so much from your gardening videos. I am also impressed with your interaction with the kids. The role modeling on the capability of women and the power of being a couple who works together.
Not a garden comment but wanted to share anyway: at the end of the video when you asked Samantha if she was a climber, she responded "Yeah" and I heard your Mother's voice! What a joy and a blessing to begin my day with your positive videos. Thank you. 1
I would let the boxwoods get to their full height of 9 ft to hide the roof lines of the other houses. It would give that enclosed, English garden feel to the area!
Hi Laura and Aaron, That area looks amazing and will look amazing for years to come. The area where the electrical box, sewer, etc. are located maybe a huge boulder or boulders would be better placed there rather than shrubs or trees due to the roots growing thru the years. Maybe planting some type of perennial could be planted in that area. I'm sure your neighbors enjoy looking at the beauty of your property. I enjoy just watching the beauty on UA-cam. HAPPY GARDENING!
Go with the 9 feet. Then you just have to do a top cut every now and then. With the distance from the neighbor fence in the distance, you need the extra 3 feet to hide the neighbor's fence. No need to be able to view the neighbor's fence. Keep it private.
Did you buy a couple extra to grow elsewhere for replacements in case some of these dont make it? So enjoy and appreciate your knowledge, and also sharing it with family and friends! (They frequently hear , "Laura says...")
All of the plants look amazing! The sky, nice and blue, with "real" white, puffy clouds (as opposed to white streaks / lines made by planes), looks gorgeous!
first i am always so impressed with your gardening I have learned so much . Second , you role model for your kids that women can do so many things . Such a good thing for kids .
Well, good. Morning, what a woman you can tackle anything. Imagine driving a worked left. This project is going to look great.Have a great blessed day to you and aaron
I’m one of those strange folks that love that boxwood smell. We used to live in Annapolis MD where there are hundreds of boxwoods that are very old. I think that’s when I acquired the smell. My wife hates it. Very fine idea putting those boxwoods there.
I've always wondered why other plant companies (Monrovia, for example, LOL) have never jumped on the sponsorship "wagon" with this channel. This green living wall is already gorgeous and will only continue to get prettier and prettier.
Probably because they already work with PW! I would guess that you can't / don't partner with two competing companies at the same time. But yes it seems like PW does a lot more partnering with creators than the other plant companies do.
I think it’s because big companies like Monrovia are already in every big store in every state. They don’t need the visibility. PW, while a big brand, hasn’t really made it’s way into every store in every state. They’ve really ramped up their marketing game and opted to go the social media route. Also, PW is working on developing plants that will handle heat & humidity which is why if you live in the gulf coast states, you’re just now starting to see more PW options. 5 years ago we never saw PW plants in any of our stores.
Proven Winners isn’t all that available in Oklahoma City either. At least the stores I go to. ( I’ve been wanting to find playing the blues salvia and amazal basil in particular).
@laraemitchell9064 I'm in Oregon, and I also have been looking for that basil for 3 years. I see some PW, but very little, never the stuff Laura plants.
LAURA!!! All the years of following your journey, from the first house until now, I’m always so excited to see you plant boxwoods! They’re my favorite. I have been eyeing the variety planted today and thought they’d be perfect. Seeing you plant so many of them is definitely a sign! I really only need one to anchor a corner area. Thanks for always inspiring!
Benjamin looked cute in his cape directing you and you looked like you had a wand when you were waving that door around! Loved the Harry Potter vibes! ❤
I love the green wall! 7 years ago I planted a dozen along a fence line. I struggled with them and took numerous clippings to the nursery for help. I have one that survived and it’s still short. I’m excited to watch yours grow. ❤
I was thinking a covered area with some benches/seating by the play area would be nice. Maybe the rocker benches Aaron doesn’t care for! Lol. Have shade and maybe a table and chairs for snacks. Also, I am enjoying the music the new editor is playing. Thank you for all the hard work!
Great morning music selection! Very peppy, makes me inspired to make todays list of TTD. Also, I want to plant a tree the way Laura does, she just makes it look so easy!
This particular moment with the tall red tree, for me, really made a vast difference of before and after! It’s not always as obvious for me, I don’t have the eye. And I was not born with the “design” gene, so this skill is so impressive to see especially to see it bloom from scratch. So fun!
LOVE the new tree!! Love seeing Aaron and Laura interact and the kids popping in. That line of boxwoods would look gorgeous with a row of lavender and daffodils in front of them. 😊
Boxwoods are my favorite bush. Did you ever think you would at nearly two million subscribers!? It's no wonder with how much you have taught all of us over the years. 🌿🪴
My 7 month old foster son has been watching these videos with me since we met when he was 5 weeks old. If you could only see the BIGGEST smile he gets when he hears “hey guys” ❤

That is so precious.
God Bless you for being a foster parent !!!!
Aww what a sweet heart ♥️ 🫶
One of the things I love the most about your channel Laura , is how pleasant you are and how you and Aaron always show respect for each others opinions 😍
And there is no politics or world issues mentioned. Its like a brief vacation.
YES
Laura! I need you to know that you are the reason I have had confidence to begin gardening. I am preparing a video of my progress over many years so show you the influence your channel has had on me. I thank the lord for you every day! Thank you!

Please tell your new editor that the music choices on your recent videos have been *chef’s kiss*! Sooooo mellow. Love it!
I also like that you can hear real sounds too a bit with the music.
I love that Benjamin is seeing his Mom drive a forklift like a boss. It’s great when men (boys too) love and respect capable women. ❤️👍🏻
Absolutely. It teaches them to not be intimidated by strong women and when they are older to accept nothing less.
@@lisacollins5466 Can't you even keep your feminazi propaganda out of a garden program for crying out loud ??? It is extremely tiresome.
What a great life for your kids to be around Mom and Dad while you work
“Just Bleh” 😂😂😂
Gotta love Aaron!🤣❤
I thought that was funny 😂too.
Aaron was cracking me up this video. Talking about the artemisia, the pine giving the finger and the smell of the boxwoods. I love watching Laura and Aaron work together, they both set a great example for the importance of a solid foundation of marriage.
And sassing Laura's mom with the word 'obelisk'! 😆
Don't you all just love that Laura gets in there and doesn't expect the guys to do the planting and or digging? She's shows a love of all plants and trees. It's so inspiring. I planted 6 tomatoes and thought that was a good days work! 🤣

..while filming!❤
One handed 😮
Same. My daughter can, too. I think it's so neat!
Girl Power! 😂
Laura is awesome. 💪🌳🌷
Seeing those boxwoods go in front of all that white fencing made me smile big 😊 what a difference!
🤣Laura! “I wonder if I can sneak this tree in”.
Can’t blame you,so beautiful.
Those boxwoods look so nice and shiny. great job Paul and Aaron getting those all planted

Fun watching Aaron and Paul's different planting style: one at a time verses mass hole digging, plop and plant without kneeling down!!

This particular moment with the tall red tree, for me, really made a vast difference of before and after! It’s not always as obvious for me, I don’t have the eye. And I was not born with the “design” gene, so this skill is so impressive to see especially to see it bloom from scratch. So fun!
Oh, yes, perfect spot for the tree! 😊
You make farming look so easy and satisfying
That is a stunning project. I can't wait to see if the left side keeps up with the right side. Paul used biotone and Aaron didn't.
I noticed that too!
I thought I missed it, was wondering also ;)
The heyracks can go by the fence behind the maple trees on the dirt land border, or down the line behind the 10 containers.
I love hearing Aaron’s take on plants, lol
Laura and Aaron those Boxwoods are gorgeous!
Good morning! Have you considered planting a few extra boxwoods out in the garden to have in case one in the hedge dies?
I love Benjamin’s respect for the equipment!
LoVE the boxwoods.
It already looks amazing.❤
How long will it take the boxwoods to get to 5-6 feet? Love you and your family. Enjoy watching the kids grow up. Way to drive that forklift Laura!!
