Sir , 2022 and 2024 options were looking similar but no one analysed that 2022 statements were such like if you can make one statement wrong , you can easily cut other options and reach to the answer .
But in 2024 , even if we cancel one statement , it was only cancelling a single option . Then matching is also three way with so many army questions .
I think 2024 was on same difficulty as 2023 . Everyone feeling easy at first glance but when matched with answer key , too many wrongs .
My opinion i think cut off General 78 not more than that .

When I gave exam it felt easy but, that also led to overattempting the question because everything looked familiar to what we have studied

I totally agree with you all. I am also on the same boat as you are. One thing I am still not able to comprehend is how come everyone is saying easier when the statements are framed in such a way that you cannot eliminate options. There are also multiple questions where the question is open to many interpretations and it is difficult to arrive at one perfect answer.

I gave 3 CSE attempts
could'nt clear prelims in any attempt.
Took a decision to skip 2024 prelims in order to secure a job.
Got selecte in AAI JE (ATC).
Could'nt take 2024 since training starts this year.
Now preparing for 2025 and further attempts without a sword hanging over my head.
Long story short
Check out for Vaccancies by AAI (ATC and Common Cadre ) this year.
There are a lot of vaccanices coming in near future.
Exam is lesser known so lesser crowd in competition.

Cleared prelims 2023 but scoring 82-84 this year. I am ashamed of the silly mistakes I did in the exam hall. Don’t know what to do next. I am shattered.

This is the fact that whenever the paper comes easy in any examinations there is higher chances of having silly mistakes.. Because we become less attentive towards attempting the questions as compares to tougher ones..

I've given 4 attempts including 2024. Wrote mains twice in 2022,2023. My 2024 prelims didn't go well. I'll most probably be not writing 2024 mains. I'm looking for a backup option. I'm 28 yrs old, engineering background. I have work experience from the software industry (but negligible- just 1 year). What other options can I pursue? Can SSC CGL be a good option? Please give some advice. A career counselor might help.
You should go for ssc cgl as it is a good opportunity this year until it's too late.
You can start working at some UPSC coaching and prepare for other exams simultaneously.
I think you should apply for some job as a back up option and prepare along with it.
You can check position of young professional in min of power.
I think there is time.

I used many topper tricks to score good marks in pyq as well as test series but during 2024 exam many question seem to be easy and can be used topper trick but many answer turned wrong so I am hoping the cutoff will be more or less the same as 2023.

The day of my Prelims, it rained. The weather was good. The invigilators were good. Everything went well except my paper 1 marks. I think I have no aptitude for GS. I dont know what I am doing wrong 😓

Sir, I've less than 3 attempts, support family and not dedicated mains preparation. But financially noy sorted.
2023 questions were based on predictable topics. This year they had asked weird questions even in economy, environment and of course IR! Solving factual questions on random topic isn’t an easy task. The paper might seem easy to them on the outside but when you match the keys, easily one is going below 85.

I will be giving my *first attempt in 2025* i have prepared some subject on my own and i am able to solve the pyqs even the 2024 ones but *i want complete guidance for GS3 (especially economy and enviourment prelims+mains specific)* so should i join this course or should i wait till your course in October-november economy part gets finished in foundational course (the 19k one) so I can buy the economy bundle specifically because I haven't enrolled in the foundational course or will this GS3 course of yours will be sufficient for prelims also?

The paper is not easy as everyone is saying....
Its definitely google easy if you are solving outside the exam hall
I would say a moderate paper
Accuracy level will take a dip for most people i guess because in the exam hall as soon as we see the paper we knew it was relatively easier wrt 2023 so the first instinct was to take a risk and attempt higher number of questions
