    nice video, instructive endgame. But i feel that this opening needs another video showing the plans for black and how to react to different white initial moves to attain the goals. The approach of showing a game and talking while playing, is a appeal of your channel, but it would be easier to get an overview of the opening if you prepared some boards with annotations showing key squares and the important moves, and then after that you play a few games explaining how those ideas work in practice.

      Yah, "What if" tutorial may be time consuming, but maybe just the 1st few variables. Great suggestion!

      I tried that with the white opening but unfortunately people watch it much less then live games. Maybe it's too deep for UA-cam :(
      But I have 10-day Opening Mastery where every single line is covered in all details :)

      @@journeytograndmaster I wouldn't always go with clicks. This is part of building something up. If you give an overview of the themes in a short video. this also enriches the live game videos. People will use it as a resource and then watch all the live game video afterwards.

    Great video. Would love to see more on this opening! I’ve always understood the endgame should favour black but unfortunately in practice I am only scoring 50% here. Have played it for the last 2 years as black so around 10 games.

      @joaolucasbraga4642 6 днів тому

      There is the option of 1.d4 1.d6 2.Cf3 2.Bg4. If white continues in traditional queen's gambit style with c4, Nc3, etc black is gonna go for dark square control with e5.

    • @joaolucasbraga4642
      @joaolucasbraga4642 6 днів тому

      In some positions black can also push f5. For example, 1.d4 1.d6 2.c4 2.e5 3.Nf3 and then e4 followed by f5 if i'm not mistaken.

    • @joaolucasbraga4642
      @joaolucasbraga4642 6 днів тому +1

      And last but not least, white can transpose to the king's pawn, for example: 1.d4 1.d6 2.Cf3 2.Bg4 3.e4 where black is gonna play a french type position with e6 and d5. Yes, we lose a tempo with d6 but that's not a huge problem cause we don't have a bad french bishop.

    • @journeytograndmaster
      @journeytograndmaster  4 дні тому

      it's the best thing that can happen :)
      they don't put pressure on e5 in this case so you don't even have any problems and still execute the same plan (including c6).
