Hey everyone! Welcome back to the Model Box! This videos focus is on the big blue engine himself, Gordon! This was an interesting experience, but one I'm excited to share with you all! Enjoy this behind the scenes look on my OO gauge, season 3, Gordon!

This was really impressive! I added DCC, custom sounds, and head light to my son's Gordon model. He is now an adult and still loves running Gordon. Doing what you have done here would be the new evaluation.
That's so cool! Do you have any videos of it posted? I'd love to check it out. I definitely want to give my model smoke and sounds eventually, smoke, at the least for sure 👌🏼

I try my best to keep my perfectionist side to a minimum haha, it's hard but I'm happy you like the outcome, can't wait to show off RWS stuff later on 😘

Damn, this model looks incredible! A very fitting level of work for such a prestigious engine. You can really tell just how care was put into this.
This model is so wonderful! This is definitely a looker. Great job!
You did such a grand job replicating what Gordon's S3 model is (though I do like him in S5 look cause he feels real and glorious, but still). I'll admit, it would feel like a trial and error going through such a tedious process with bodyshells and chassis, but in the end whether good or not, it looks great even when running on camera.
The main things that make him so beautiful are the super clean face without 3D-printing marks and the PERFECT color!
You've done an awesome job, Brenden! This model of Gordon looks spectacular! 👌
This is a spectacular model of Gordon. Seeing it in motion pulling a rake of coaches really made it seem as if I was seeing the original TV show model. You should be absolutely proud of it! I absolutely understand the massive frustration over obsessing over small details.
It was definitely worth it in the end.

I actually designed the lining that George printed at 3:26, (like as in I did the pattern in photoshop, and he cut it out with his circuit) honestly amazing to see how far it’s gone and all the projects it’s been used on. If you need any in future for other characters feel free to hmu.
He and Thomas look absolutely gorgeous. I’d just like to say that you are one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to modeling. Keep doing what you’re doing, my man. 💙

Nice work! I know how this feels! Nearly finished with my Bachmann Large Scale Thomas. I’m doing modifications with a larger scale for now so I can work my way into HO Scale. Gotta take learning steps if you know ya know! If I may make a suggestion go on Bachmann’s service department and get Spencer’s pistons and wheel set. That’s what I’m gonna do when I make a custom Gordon and Henry.

Not as perfect as you..
Brenden- I would strongly recommend you start doing wet sanding. While the technique seems to take more time, it actually allows your sandpaper to cut faster and more smoothly. And you can find all kinds of great sanding tools thru MicroMark. They literally have every tool you will ever need. Oh- I have a cheap airbrush that I bought at Harbor Freight years ago and its still working- I dont’ think I paid more than $30 for it, and it works like a champ. Your modeling work is so strong- if you take the step into wet sanding and airbrushing, you are going to be soooo happy with the results.
That's something I'd absolutely love to do, when I can afford to buy new stuff. The wet sanding I actually do uh, do! Lol, but I guess I never talked about it enough? I guess I choose entertainment value over being extremely detailed haha. But I do! And continue to use it more, it's so good 👍
