Of course she's gonna get more time for rejecting the plea deal! The judge is making sure she pays for all the states money and resources she is costing by going to trial. She wasn't tricked, she gambled and she lost.

Yet, you have NYPD officers with multiple DUI still serving on the force. Many who have injured or killed others… still on the force. THIS is the two tier justice system.

Funny how all of you people here giving comments are ALL IN FAVOR FOR THIS DEAD COP...........but........NOT IN FAVOR WHEN THEY ARE CLEARLY IN THE WRONG FOR CHOKING OR KILLING SOMEONE BY GOING TOO FAR AND GETTING A LIGHTER SENTENCE......I believe she should have gotten the minimum and parole within 3-5 years.....THATS WHAT COPS GET WHEN THEY KILL SO WHY NOT THE SAME BE GIVEN

I see a lot of DWI arrest videos. The judge and prosecutor's need to be harder on these people. Most of them get probation or the charges get dismissed. Put them in jail for a few days at least.
