It all depends on the weather, CPT is forever windy and through out the year it's either very wet or cold, so December time is great because it's really hot, though everybody floods to CPT around this time of the year (more to the popular influencer /celebrity spots) there's places like Blouberg that are more private and quite so check on the weather and you should be okay 😉
Hello please check on Booking.com as I don’t know your budget and what you want to do in CPT. If you have only a R1000 budget then filter that amount on booking.com and it will give you all the available hotels for R1000
You unfortunately need a credit to rent a car otherwise use Uber to get you around, depending on the car you drive you’ll most likely spend R2000 plus for renting car and that’s not including petrol, so you can do the math, it might be cheaper to use Uber
