Hyundai palisade is much better than Toyota vellfire.
Vellfire above 70 lakhs with 2.5 liter engine 4 cylinders.
Hyundai palisade 40 lakhs 3.8 liter engine with 6 cylinders
The ugliest outer design ever seen!
When it comes to reliability, it is Toyota. When it comes to executive looks, it is Merc.

Seriously, I agree! To be honest, I was expecting the price to be about 45 Lakh INR.
Okay, so it is a huge car, but it is not all that luxurious. Certainly, not a freaking 90-Lakh luxurious vehicle!
For 90 Lakhs, I would want so many more features, like a bigger tray table, HUDs and so on.
Let's see what Toyota brings to us in the final cut.

It's taxi car in Malaysia 😬...it's comfy and loads of space. Interior quality is a notch above. Now have to see if Toyota will cut the corners to make it more desi

I rubbed my eyes 👀 twice when I saw the front side of this Tempo sorry I mean car.
Man, I have driven and been with my parents in Toyota Alphard (Global Version of Vellfire) abroad... My parents loved the comfort levels of the recliner seats. I loved the smooth engine... its a luxurious MPV.... This car is a charm for senior citizens and is meant for ultimate family use. Thank god its coming to India... We don’t have to pay the extremely high import tax...

I'm from Malaysia, have a Vellfire 2012. This car is everywhere in East Asia and South East Asia.
- For Malaysia it's mostly a Family car, premium taxi and sometimes goverment car
- For China this is those rich people or business man car
- For Hong Kong this is those nanny car and premium taxi
- For Japan, you can see this anywhere since it's their own car and it's very cheap to them, there's even water plumber using this car in Japan

It's sure feels dated as we are using this for the last 10 years in Malaysia. Unfortunately the price of 90 lakhs is too much
here in Malaysia it cost around 59 lakhs only. That is still are considerably higher amount of money but listening to the price in India makes me wonder, who is going to buy at this?

I've come across a ton of these in Japan, its MASSIVE and very well designed for its size class. They must have placed a Fortuner next to it for reference, numbers doesn't tell the full picture

I drove this last week with my family in Singapore and we just discussed how good it would be in India to ride this vehicle, I was amazed everyone in car agreed it would be best alternate innova. Best in class space and comfortable. I would just say “here take my money and....”

If they sell toyota granvia/majesty then yeah... Carnival/sedona is on the granvia and h-1 level of competition i think... Below this class. This one is more of the elgrand, v class, and caravelle level i think. But then again lines blurred every so often
This one may not work in India. Firstly it is expensive, tall design means it wont be quick and driveable on roads. With these negatives , will it help in comfort? Entry and exit is not comfortable, ride comfort isnt good coz of small tyres. Just for reclinable chair, will people spend 80lakhs? People will rather choose a mercedes

Yogesh Sankla in Indonesia we got 2 version, the 2.5L with 50 lac and the 3.5 with 90 lac pricetag... and most people here go for the 2.5L because it much makes sense to buy

Remove the import #tax in India and this car will be available for under Rs 40 lakhs.
India needs to become more liberal and accept imported cars without tariffs from Germany, Japan & Korea.
This and the Alphard type MPVs are quite popular in countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. But for that amount of money, there are other favourable options.
I just imported the Toyota alphard Lounge class from Japan via an auction and got a bargain. Only 18k and mint (Showroom condition) with AA mileage verification. Only issue atm is transfer of warranty so might take out independent cover.
Wow, that's a bargain. What year and to where? Some older generation alphard have transmission issues not lasting as long. Just giving you a heads up of things to watch for in the future.

In Kuala Lumpur it’s so common i see it more than all the innovas combined..I did travel in vell fire from airport to hotel and the comfort was way better than crysta.

Carnival is a far inferior minivan and does not even have half the class or comfort this minivan does. This one also has strong green credentials and will be better for Indian roads thanks to better ground clearance.

It will cost 45-50K USD in USA. So 30-35 lakhs rupees will be more accurate.
