@@thebatman4279 I don't think so, he just happen to witness that scene... it caught him off guard, he was spying Selina bc she knew info about the russian chick but then the unexpected happened (changing her clothes).
After all men who are cold and don't simp can also react, after all he's human. That's a straight males nature he's gonna react if he happens to see an attractive lady haha ;)
He goes to save the kid which is no where near the direction of the car 😂😂😂
The fact that pattinson doesn’t even say anything and the scene is still so intensive

@Rusty Tiger Yeah, it's called acting. You don't need to have dialog if you have an actor who can convey everything with just his eyes and the way he moves his body. It's a master class in acting.

He was killed the same day his parents died
He was brought back to life in the ending
Batman is Bruce.
I'm pretty sure Batman has to play two characters, himself (Bruce) so the police and society won't suspect he's the batman. And the other side being "vengeance" known as the batman.
Pattison's face expressions alone show part of Batman's motivation. He does what he does to make sure that no one else has to turn into Batman like he did, no kid has to be orphaned and traumatized. So when he sees another orphan like him, he's terrified because he realizes that maybe what he's doing isn't working. Brilliant writing and acting

@@AntiStraightMaleSociety because movies were better in the early 2000’s. Just look at Tobey Maguire’s first 2 films vs the reboots. They literally brought him and the villains back lmao I love Tom and Andrew too but their movies just weren’t the same 🤷♂️

I love how everyone even the cops flinch and duck out of fear but Bruce just stands there because he’s not afraid, so badass

the tension during this scene is nothing compared to the next scene with Colson, Batman and riddler. That scene is one of my top 10 from the movie.
A fantastic scene only marred by the bizarre decision to have Batman not try and escape from the impending explosion. I'll defend this film to the end of time but that part annoys me EVERY time.

I feel like this is one of the more realistic takes on Bruce as a person. Someone with his level of trauma, hatred, and intellect would be incredibly antisocial, or at least find it difficult to communicate with people. Especially in a city like Gotham where connecting with anyone could be a serious risk.
We need more comic book movies like The Batman. It’s such a brilliant film, and easily my favorite of the year!
We just need Batman movies. Nothing else DC and MARVEL has compares to Gotham City.

amazing charachters , smart writing , great music , sound design , great cinematography , great riddles and intense sequences , the world building in gotham was unique and immersive .

Just hearing people outside screaming and a car engine revving uncontrollably is enough to send shivers down your spine.

When the crowd panicked, after the phone rang, it felt realistic but also kinda funny.

Making sure his plans went off without a hitch and like Bruce went to don his true persona, Riddler did the same right after.
Great news, The Batman 2 is definitely happening. Confirmed that Matt Reeves is directing and Robert Pattinson will be back. I mean we all knew it, but it's still nice having confirmation. Can't wait to see what they pull off.

It’s just that some ppl don’t get the inner pain. They are happy being what they have outside. Not that I’m complaining.
Some people were expecting a full throttle action packed Dark Knight-type film, i think that's the problem. If you go in expecting a slow burning detective mystery film it's a lot more enjoyable.

One of the best batman film I have ever seen in cinema history.
My favorite thing about this scene outside of the brilliant use of sound design and reactions to tell a story is just how deeply eerie the Riddler's presence is in this scene. That shot of him being silhouetted on the top deck looking down while everyone else around him escapes the scene is unnerving. That in addition to the child gazing up at him first which catches Bruce attention to look up at him in paranoia implies that the Riddler probably looked like a total creep.

This is the perfect tone of film to introduce Batman super-powered and colorful enemies if the makers of this movie were dumb enough to ever do a sequel. It'd be the perfect contrast like with the majority of books. Don't do like Chris Nolan, do like Joel Schumacher but only in this case of colorful and super-powered enemies
