It’s symbolic in a way, Krabs is seen by other people as this very wealthy and “kind” restaurant owner. While Plankton has found out the truth and now sees him for what he truly is.
Yeah. Krabs' usual design is an idealized version of what a crab should look like. But the second version of Krabs looks like a slightly more real (albeit demonic) crab. Hence, Plankton sees the "real" Krabs, not the fake one.
not gonna lie, it would been very poetic for plankton to crush eugene, stepping on him as a bug, like they did with plankton, absolutely awesome series anyways!
I think it's a neat detail (although I can't tell if it was intentional or not) was that Mr Krabs was killed by being pierced through the center of his body and then cut in half towards the head, which is a method used in real life to slaughter crabs humanely
I like how in the end Plankton says that he is nobody, but SpongeBob is not and for this, Eugene paid with his death. This really shows how SpongeBob is important to all of the cast.
NGL this was the coldest scene right here, Crab just calling Plankton a pathetic parasite, thinking he's killing him for the fame and fortune but it's like Plankton said, none of that matters, what mattered was putting down a pathetic bottom feeder who filled the void in his soul with money by hurting others. the pathetic parasite proclaiming his fame dying on the floor mocking the one before him. telling him nothing he will do will matter empty threats to someone who could care less for the fame, to someone who only want to put spongebob's soul at rest finally.
I think a good way to continue this story would be to have a funeral for Spongebob with the surviving main cast, if any of his friends survived like Sandy, Squidward, Patrick and maybe Mermaid Man and Barnicle Boy. And then in the true final part of this story would be Mr Krab's fate in the afterlife. He'd be back with Davy Jones on his ship and be punished for his crimes. But instead of being put in Davy Jone's locker, the souls of all of Mr Krab's past victims including Spongebob would drag him down to the deepest pit of Hell and be burned away to nothing.

I love how that despite everything, Krabs lost. The fact he was insulting and trying to get into Planktons head means that he truly was afraid of death. Despite everything, Plankton Won. And that fact must've driven Eugene insane in his final moments.
If there is more of this comic, it would be interesting if Pearl Krabs realizes Plankton killed her dad and withouth knowing the evil that the krusty krab owner did all these years she goes for revenge and now Plankton has to deal with a angry teenage whale girl
Best conclusion to a series ever. Of all time. I personally would love to see another episode showing the after math and how the Bikini Bottom reacted to Krabs's true nature and SpongeBob's death. Especially Pearl, Patrick, Sandy, and Squidward.

This is tragic because Plankton not only lost everything through no fault of his own, but he can't even have the satisfaction of calling himself the hero of the story because no one truly got saved. Yeah, he ended Spongebob's suffering, but that is vastly different from actually *saving* him. Gary was already gone long before Plankton showed up. And Plankton's need for revenge validation from Krabs for when they were kids went out the window the second he got his hands on the formula, a formula that was basically worthless when he learned what was on it. There's no point in having a friendly rivalry with someone who stoops as low as Krabs did. That's why Krabs' taunting didn't reach Plankton. The formula, the kid who made the patties great, and the man behind the scenes are gone. Everything that mattered to him is gone now. You can't be upset about something that doesn't matter anymore.
I think it was kind of fanfictiony but I really like the effect of plankton's eye being the small pupil of the robot. Really good way to convey his feelings at the time.

Plankton is considered the bad guy in bikini bottom and his rivalry with Krabs is well known. There was a good chance people would have brushed it off as an attempt to screw Krabs over. Also plankton did the killing blow on sponge, out of mercy but it was still him. If Krabs left no evidence behind, plankton would end up the main suspect. he also wasn't exactly in a clear state of mind after what he saw and went through. So his decision to deal with Krabs himself isnt unfounded.
