  • Firstly, a huge apology for how late this video is. I've had such a busy past few weeks, but am happy that the video is finally ready.
This video recaps my experience at the 2023 Brighton Half Marathon, my first ever official half. Having trained for months with the target of running sub 85 (sub 4:00/km pace), a sudden injury less than 2 weeks before race day threatened both the target and my participation in the race as a whole. But 2 weeks of rest and recovery brought me to race day... and I suppose here it is, enjoy.

Wow brilliant time for your first HM !! Look forward to seeing how you progress. I liked the animation to show your progress through the race. Quirky 👍

Never apologise for a late video! Before I enter a race I trawl the Internet for previous videos to see if it is worth doing. This is a great video that gives you a taste of the scale of Brighton Half. I was in a late wave and I had to run half a mile more than you just to get to the start line . . . Its an epic race, a little congested and the out away from Brighton and turn back along hove gardens goes on forever but its well worth it for a medal that looks like a toilet. Its good to show other runners in the videos as people want to glimpse themselves run past in a running video especially early on when they look fresh and dont look like they have been stung by a wasp on their hamstring. Hey thats @TheRichKeeble at 4:10 look at him zig zag through the crowd. Anyway, superb video and a great result.

Thank you that really means a lot, it was such a phenomenal day, hope to run it again next year (and I thought I recognised him when editing the video together haha 😆), again thank you so much for the support

I like your video style, refreshingly different! Great time btw, would be interested to know what your training leading up to it looked like.
