Pat. I had the privilege of being a contestant 7 years ago and it was the best experience. Even when the production stopped due to some audio bugs, you were joking and kidding with us. It was a great experience and my kids were so proud. Thank you for being a big part of my family for so long.

I am so glad that I had the amazing opportunity to be a contestant last year. It was a memory that my granddaughter will have for the rest of her life. We were on the grandparent/grandchild show. I remember seeing wheel of fortune on TV in the 90s and I was a kid then. My mom would be in front the tv watching the show. I'd be running around the house playing with my toys . Fun days . I miss them. Thank you for my childhood memories and more . ❤

NBC back in the day was notorious for cancelling stuff left and right, wiping tapes, etc.... Pat saved the show. Our NBC was UHF and hard to receive.
Pat, I was on the show in October of 1997, Inns of New England Week, and it was so much fun. I loved getting to meet you and Vanna as well as taking home some winnings. I’ll never forget you nicknaming me Shannon the vulture Clemons. 😂😂

I think Pat forgot to mention the time he lost his voice, and he and Vanna had to switch places for the BR. Also, more recently he and Jim switched places since the contestant who advanced to the BR had a crush on the announcer, Jim Thornton.

Thanks so much, Pat - AND Vanna - for every episode and smile. I started out watching with my Mom, way back when you guys started, and we were BOTH hooked! Over the years, family and friends came to know their calls and texts (and knocks at the door, sometimes) would go unanswered during my Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy! hour. It has remained this way up til the present.
Your warmth, your wit, your goofiness, and easy manner will be greatly missed. It's great to see and hear from your family, friends, and colleagues that this is NOT just your TV persona. Most of us already had a strong sense that this was just you being YOU, and it's wonderful to see Maggie & Vanna confirm it, and to see the love & respect you all have for each other.

Thank you for being with us for so many years. I have watched you while living in Minnesota, Georgia and now in MN. I remember years ago when my father's step-daughter in California was on your show and was so excited when she won a Gucci purse (which didn't mean much to me but was exciting to know someone on the show. Just watched your videos which were very interesting and I agree how much you interacted with the contestants and made them feel comfortable and will definitely miss your witty sense of humor. My parents and I were fans of Wheel of Fortune for years. My Dad always liked Vanna's dresses! I've been a fan for years too. I remember watching when contestants choose prizes. We especially liked the part where Pat and Vanna had a pie in the face. It was very funny. We will miss you, Pat. God bless you! Good luck on your future, Pat!
I have really enjoyed wheel through the years. My kids loved watching the show and now my 40 year old son watches every night as an adult. Pat is so funny and I don't see how it can ever be the same without him. When my kids were young I took them to a taping of wheel when we lived in Seattle. It was fun! Huge crowd back then. We have the wheel of fortune video game. Big fans here. To Pat Sajak Happy retirement and God speed.
