If any future owner of this car ever removes that Sarah-n-Tuned sticker from that car, we're all coming after them. LOL. This series has been incredibly entertaining and extremely disorienting. I know it started with a 50 year old vehicle in 2022 but all that energy, creativity and knowledge has made it seem like we're back in 1970 watching a new car roll off the line in Wolfsburg. Amazing.
I kind of hope it's a young woman going to college who needs a nice but novel daily to get to school in. And knowing who built it would be especially inspirational.
Thank you Sarah for warming up a cold, snowy, Saturday night with your warmth, vivaciousness and skillfully documented skill in bug rejuvenation transformation.
@@petermoller8337 I hope it's something big and Diesel since we haven't seen that here yet and Sara is uniquely qualified for that job. Or something with a jet engine since that is her other forte.
Sarah really did that all by herself apart from one or two of her shop mechanics pitching in to help! This is usually a six month job and it took a lot of elbow grease, time and hard work. There are very few people who would do that themselves because as Sarah admitted, much of it was boring! The end result however made it all worth it!

All I can say is that this Bug is literal perfection....if I were the lucky winner, I would want Sarah's autograph on it someplace, because this is her piece of art.
Thumbs up before I even started watching. Congrats Sarah, I just got done swearing at my vehicles doing simple oil changes, someday I aspire to have the skill and courage to tackle such impressive projects as you have, bravo!
Looks awesome, Sarah! Great job! OCD wins again! And the winner of this VW will only have to keep it clean and drive it often! Shout out to Angel and Charlie for jumping in and helping out!
Your dedication and attention to detail paid off, this is VW anyone would be happy to own. The "blinded by the light" lyrics we fought about at work the other week for hours. NIOCE!
The car turned out exactly as predicted....about as perfect as you can get without pushing the budget into the 6-figure neighborhood. You have the process SO nailed down, it`s amazing. I am fairly new to this channel. It has been one of the most satisfying and entertaining build series I’ve watch in a long time. Congratulations Sarah on the beautiful way Ragnar turned out. I am very impressed with your skills. You can bet I’ll keep watching and supporting your channel. Oh and happy Veteran’s Day. Thank you for your service.😊
I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a build as much as this one. Brings back fond memories of the ‘65 I had when I was in high school. Congrats to whoever wins this sweet machine!!
Thank you for the series and all your videos. Very entertaining and your knowledge is impressive. I sent this series to my wife and got her interested in restoring a bug.
Congratulations Sarah on an epic build! I think everyone knows someone who owned a Beetle. This makes this series so relatable and interesting. You should be very proud of yourself. New owner will be absolutely thrilled. Take care Sarah.

Well it's about time you and Angel stopped goofing around and finished a project! 😆 Kidding! You guys did a BEAUTIFUL job ! I'm sure that car is better than it was when it rolled off the assembly line all those years ago! Congratulations on another masterpiece and to all who had a hand in the making of these great videos! Also, congratulations to the winner of this museum quality show piece! Thanks Sarah!
This is easily my favorite restoration. I don’t know what your next one is, but I’d like to see you do a 70s Z or a Gen 3 Supra. Both are still fairly affordable and don’t get much attention.
@ 1:01 Brings back memories of my days in USAF Honor Guard. We used that stinky BRASSO in a can to restore shine to bullet casings we presented to the bereaved spouse/family member along with the U.S. Flag after the traditional 21 gun salute send-off to the deceased servicemember.
I don't think I've ever seen an old car look so new... and that's a compliment! Angel Fruit Cake helped out a lot for you. Nice touch too with the sticker at the end 👍
Hi Sarah, you asked what is on the back of the VW emblem, looks like it's the manufacturer K. Schwager from Pforzheim (which is a city near Stuttgart). I really love your content, each and every project is so much fun. Keep on with the excellent work on youtube including german cars (the Ur-Quattro is my favorite, til now...). Greetings from the german speaking part of Switzerland
I love it when you show what time it is. It shows how much time you spend on your projects and how much hard work you put in. Also loved the "Space for Rent" blur. Someone needs to step up and start sponsoring you with some product.
Hey Sarah -n- Tuned, you’re gonna like this! Those song lyrics at 12:00 are actually “revved up like a deuce” NOT “wrapped up like a douche”. A Deuce (‘32 Ford Coupe), as you probably know, was the hot rod of choice back when Bruce Springsteen wrote the song about young delinquents cruisin’ and street racing. I thought you’d like that! :^)
Hey cutie^^ Konrad Schwager is the name of the manufacturer which is still operating in Pforzheim, near the Black Forest in Germany. Regards from the motherland of your little Käfer, keep it up!
This maybe one of the simplest cars out there and "easy" to maintain, but so glad Sarah shows how much effort goes into restoring/modifying this iconic car.
Hy Sarah, the meaning on your VW Emblem is, K.Schwager is the Name from the Company owner, who made it. And Pforzheim is the City where the factory was.
Ragnar looks awsum. Your attention to design has delivered the best looking interior I've ever seen on a bug. And it's been informative and entertaining watching you bring it all to life. Congrats on a brilliant series!
Having Angel help at the end made this possible, he tackled stuff that is difficult to film and make interesting. Also having Fred and him do the block sanding and skim coat saved a lot of time.
It never fails, whenever Sarah cleans or polishes a car I see a spot and just want to scream "you missed a spot". Then I realize it's a spot on my screen and I feel like such a fool.
I love the moderate utilitarian overlander look/build. That's pretty much how I'd want an old beetle built if I had one. Plus since it's a mild off road-ish vehicle but not 4WD. It's not a very heavy, so it wouldn't need a huge expensive winch to pull itself outta trouble. I think it'd look cool with some diy F&R black tube winch bumpers.
