    Thank you, thank you for this! I'm SO happy to have found you. Just started my own landscape design business and I have 15+ years of CAD experience BUT I've always had everything set up for me at my jobs and this kind of clear explanation is just what I needed. Having to start everything from scratch is so different than just sitting down and having it all done for you! I'll be watching regularly and SO appreciate it!! :)

    Thank you for this video, I finally gained a better understanding of this topic.
    My only concern, is to which element should receive a certain line weight; from the structure (ext walls, int walls, fixtures, furnitures, d&w, finishes,etc.), up to the whole site itself (roads, landscape, topo, etc.)

    a very-interesting setup of all the palettes and tools...on the side!! As the CAD-god surely intended for our proper-display on our monitors!! Nice! Perhaps you'd create a video of THAT maneuver, and how one replicates your GUI, as above. btw....I do NOT use ACAD, as way-too-expensive. Instead, and a tip for you, is to switch to...ActCAD. And save a zillion$$$ (or whatever :-) Your welcome! From an old CAD-Designer (since '82, and dinosaurs roamed)))

    Why is lineweight important in autocad?

    • @FirstInArchitecture
      @FirstInArchitecture  4 роки тому +1

      Lineweight is important in any program where you are creating architectural drawings. Lineweight helps to show the important elements on the drawing and give a sense of depth or hierarchy.
