mkbhd the most honest gadget reviewer? hahaha give me a break. that dude has been doing commercials for apple, samsung and everyone willing to send him free stuff in exchange for "good reviews". Not to mention Mkbhd is a partner with the verge to make even crappier sponsored content, even if they deny it every single time.
This video shows so well why you're the best tech reviewer around at the moment, and one of the best UA-camrs in general. You speak in a measured, professional manner and seem to be sticking to a script. It's great to listen to, keeps the progression of your videos logical and avoids wasting your audience's time with repetition and nonfluencies. The video production is a cut above too - possibly the best work I've seen for a channel that uploads frequently. Last but not least, the writing is really good. Your videos are well researched and you make an obvious effort to mitigate your biases. Seriously, 10/10 Fisher.
I like MKBHD and I'm subscribed to him, but I don't think he is nearly as good as Mr Mobile. MKBHD's reviews are his best work, but in less scripted videos he can be all over the place. The interviews he has conducted are rather poor - uninteresting questions that don't even seem to impress the interviewees. And even with his reviews (which again, I like enough to subscribe to), he is not as comprehensive as Mr Mobile.
Bryn Barker I would actually think of it as the other way around. even though both are splendid tech youtubers, mkbhd is much more formal and detailed while still throwing in some subjectivity in every video. IMHO, Michael is more general and not as specific. but, never the less, you can't go wrong with watching either 👍👍
I don't see MKBHD as even mildly formal. Everything about him is extremely casual, down to his less scripted videos and the level of language he uses. I also can't recall a video of his being more detailed than MrMobile's equivalent. Marques often glosses over major aspects of a device, such as battery life or camera performance. There is a lot I like about Marques, such his commitment to the highest visual fidelity possible and his experiments with and general use of camera shots. But I think he could learn a lot from MrMobile. Conversely, I think MrMobile could learn a few things from MKBHD. Specifically, how to effectively target younger audiences, how to give videos a unique identity that really stand out from the crowd (even as a thumbnail) and how to create a relationship with viewers. I'm not sure what that would entail, but it could be due to how much Marques directly addresses his audience rather than provide voice overs. I have noticed Michael placing himself in videos more frequently, which I think was a good move.
Bryn Barker yea formal was probably the wrong word to use there but in reality Marques is just more open and explains his thoughts better. and I agree with you on the younger audiences point
TheWowwa It's pretty much average, sadly. Nothing special but it will get you through the day. You will have to charge it in the evening, but it charges very fast.
Michael and LG thanks for mentioning the environmental tests of the LG G6. I work in a testing lab testing industrial products. I've done all of them except salt fog, salt spray, those we send out! As for phones I'm solidly mid-tier BYOD so either are far beyond my phone experience. Was fun seeing both of you in one video.
I think its funny how they switch the S8 to the S8+ in a few frames making it look bigger then the LG G6. You shouldn't have the S8+ in this video. Just my opinion. I actually have had both phones and prefer the LG over the galaxy. I've owned a galaxy since the S3 and have now owned the LG for 2 weeks. there are disadvantages advantages to both. the camera in my opinion goes to the LG though its close.
@Ramification the gorilla glass 5 resist better the whole shattering but it gets scratches everywhere. The gorilla glass 3 resist much better small scratches
I am speaking for myself, not American buyers. On the positive side, US buyers get wireless charging, which we don't get. I have no idea why LG came up with all these convoluted options based on geography.
Idk why but there is something about the way mr mobile reviews things that I prefer to pretty much any youtuber out there . I'm really glad you've your standalone channel now ! You're the best man great work!
Great collaboration video! Love both reviewers! I switch back and forth between Android and Apple every couple of years and now Apple is having its turn with me. I love both OSs because they both have something to offer. If I had to pick S8 or G6, I'd go with the G6. It's been a while since I had an LG device and and the past few devices I've owned have been Sammys. Samsung makes a great product but, in my past experiences, they make good looking devices that begin to become more and more unreliable as time goes on. The last LG device I owned was a G3. Luckily, I didn't experience that boot loop issue that many people had with it. I'm not due for an upgrade until next year, so I'll see what Samsung and LG have to offer when that time comes.
When you left Pocketnow Mr.Mobile I felt the life in me was tore out I wondered the world helpless intill that golden day that day you returned to Android Central & now your were we always new you'll be ON TOP!! And to include MKBHD in your video just shows you aint stuck up & your still very humble. Your the man brother!!
haha feels like watching @mkbhd video backwards. great idea for the featuring. hope this become a trend among UA-camrs. I would go for the LG G6 for the camera
Cristian Constantin That's nice. I got the notification for both videos at the same time since I had notifications on for both channels. It was a pleasant surprise. Watching either video would've given me both my favorite tech UA-camrs. But I came here first since the notification for this one was above MKBHD's video (lol)
I went for none, just watching because of MrMobile MKBHD. However, if I had to pick, would go for G6. Slightly economical, better camera, fingerprint reader, durable.
I know everyone has a different taste, but If you like emulation games like Wii and GameCube, definitely the S8,that Snapdragon 835 amazes me.i can now play all my GameCube games on it.and I'm trying out the Wii ones I legally own.
To the average person, they couldn't give a flying fuck about performance. I'd pick the G6 because where I live, we get the hi-fi DAC as well as the water resistance, dual cameras and better fingerprint sensor positioning which all are great features for me. I don't get wireless charging but in Australia, no one cares about that either.
I got the LG G6, cuz I just am not crazy about the Samsung look, the edge-less display, or the lack of 2 cameras. I love my G6's double cameras and use them both frequently, I love the form factor itself (although the keyboard for some reason threw me for a loop for about 2 weeks), the screen is beautiful as the rounded edges look great, and it is still a small phone even though the screen is so large! Overall, it works for me. I don't have any complaints, and yeah, there might be higher spec devices out and coming soon, but it fits all my needs, and technology will forever be improving!
Clous von Just because I actually bought the product I liked more based on the user experience. Don't you have anything better to do than unnecessarily attack me for having a different opinion than yours? Geez....must be a hard life! Sitting at your computer at home trying to find people who are just plain honest and acting like a fool because you have no life. Go do something worthwhile with your life....and stop making up moronic accusations that you have no business or reason to create. I said nothing offensive, I just stated my opinion and gave my standards by which I chose the phone I now am using, then you and the frog headed person decided that since you both have nothing better to do with your lives besides being rude and making stupid comments trying to discredit my opinion....which is retarded because it is my opinion....based on what I think....on my preferences....on the user experiences that I enjoy the most....on the design that I find most pleasing to interact with....so why can't you both and all the people out there like you, find literally anything good or productive to do in the world. Or possibly think before you blatantly attack someone and waste your time and what few brain cells you have left on creating an argument where one is definitely unnecessary.
Donovan Bishop having 2 cameras does not make it better then a single cause the s8 is better then the g6 and wide angle lens makes the pictures look like a fish eye effect and that's not good
Lisa Allen I agree with you! In my use of the phone, the fish eye does annoy me slightly, but only when it is evident. And the s8 pics do honestly look a bit better to me, but I do have to really look. And while 2 cameras may not both be better seperately than the one on the Samsung, I find it to be a better option for my life, rather than having slightly better saturation on one camera.
I bought and returned an S7Edge because of accidentally registering touches on the screen. I purchased it originally because TMO has it on sale for $480. After returning it, decided to wait before choosing something else. Glad I did. G6 on sale for $500 now. Traded a spare iPhone I had, and couldn't be happier. The G6 is fabulous for me. I'm a woman and -thankfully - don't have man hands. 😂 All of the perks of a large screen without being bulky...and no curved sides to deal with.
5:47 I like the headphone jack at the bottom, too... but isn't it possible to use USB-C headphones with the port on the bottom? Seems like an okay compromise for those who haven't gone 100% bluetooth.
I have both phone and I like the LG G6 more. The software is less annyoing. GS8 has tons of duplicate services which Android already has. G6 wins for me.
ah ok. My reason for saying that the case isn't needed is because of the build and feel in the hand, but if fingerprints are really that annoying then yea I guess a case is needed. Note - my LG has fallen many times and has just very small scuffs
ShadowWarrior114 Lol, watch drop tests please. The LG g6 broke it's front after one drop on role while The s8 survived 2 and on the 3rd it finally cracked it's back in the corner. The s8 is also completely gorilla glass 5 while the g6 had gorilla glass 3 at the front and 5 at the back. Clearly a lie lo l
Wife went with the g6. after dealing with a horrible antenna nightmare in the gs7. She did not want to go thru that again. she is extremely happy with the g6. The signal is also great, she never loses service like she did with the gs7.
MuffinDuffelBag _ I have had nothing but problems with service in every Samsung phone I ever had. even with my Galaxy S3 on Verizon, service was always spotty. I'm now with T-Mobile and service with get g6 is great, but in the same places with the gs7, she would drop calls and service for no reason. IDK, but it was enough for her to want to get a new phone.
Jason Booth They're both mainstream. If you want non-mainstream then check out Myproject13 or Mr. JLWilliams. Relife phone reviewers that aren't getting paid by the phone companies.
+John Lincicum Well true, but I would definitely say Mr. Fisher has carved a more niche audience...alot of his followers from his pocket or days before they got as big as they are. Ive followed Jays works. Yeah you have to be very carefully these days with your tech pundants. They'll like whatever they're being paid to like .
haha best video ever! unfortunately, I have to go with MKBHD in this one, although LG made a great job, the s8 it's just beatiful and its a beast in specs wise
Kevin Parker Agreed - great video/collaboration. This will be the debate of the year (at least until the Pixel 2 comes out). I've used Samsung for years, but I would probably go with the G6 if for no other reason than the fingerprint sensor placement. Difficult decision...
Marques in 2017: this curve screen is so beautiful and it really minimises the side bezels, it's obviously superior Marques in 2021: STOP MAKING CURVED SCREENS!!
Mrmobile: makes a comprehensive explanation of things that could even go unnoticed where the G6 outshines the S8, while Marques seems to be more focused on specs
I would have liked to see two different videos across your guys' two channels, rather than the same video twice. It would have been cool if you each took turns arguing pros of the opposing phones over the two videos.
Great video..I agree w everything you both said, I went w the G6 because of the durability and the camera and I am not a fan of the edge display not only because it makes it less durable but i cant get over how the edge looks with some videos. In my case it was a pretty easy decision but like you said no one is going home with either one of these phones dissatisfied.
@WellingtonWX Holing out to my moto e3.. while it doesn't have.. well... anything, but that's all I have :D It can only outlast these phones in the battery department I guess
Ankur Tripathi With the E3 you're also holding on to A LOT OF cash too. I'd say that's a smart choice in itself. I used an E2 for a month as a backup. To this day, I still miss it from time to time.
@mrmobile you got the best choice in mobile territory ..I used to watch mkhb but your reviews diserve an Oscar ..IAM sure they will include it in the near future ...an entire army will march for Michael..and BTW as a user or a S7 edge I got bored as well since I love the square screens this edge will have another use in the future but for the moment is a pain in the butt ..G6 I ll grab you as soon you get available in Romania. Vietnam already has it ...but I can't control the market . Big fan of clever reviews and your unique style that nobody posses
LG G6 is really cheap after 2 yrs now. It went from 650$ to 170$ in Vietnam and it's a budget flagship killer. Lots of ppl in Vietnam went for the G6 because of the price which is affordable for Vietnamese people but also include some really great specs compare to the S8. Will buy the G6!!
I just saw this in my dream that you both collab for a video and it just happened, like what? Seriously? Two of the finest youtubers together. Hoping for many more videos to come by you two together sir.
Amine Algérien Amazing......... I can easily go through a day and a half without charging while it's running high res/performance apps..... It charges very very quickly, even if you're using it while charging....... I'm really happy with my choice, and there are a lot more to explain and if I start I won't shut up for a while😂😜😂😜😂😜😂😜😂
Whichever of these phones you choose, buy a protective case. To go raw dog with a glass front-back phone is just an invite to disaster. Also, those curved screen replacements are not cheap.
The G6 would be the clear winner if it had the more efficient 10nm SD835 chipset with an amoled display. U missed mentioning that G6 has an awesome sound performance over S8's tinny sound output. The only thing which makes me not wanna buy flagships is the pathetic battery life. In a couple of years, you're gonna get half the battery life that you get on the same brand new phone after constant usage. This is why I prefer workhorse midrangers with over 4000mAH battery though I do insanely miss the top tier cameras on flagships. Its not worth the money to buy them just for the camera.
I always laugh at my friends who brainlessly buy flagships just because they can. My phone that costs 3 times less than theirs can have double the SoT thanks to its large battery and efficient chip
Exactly. U can, for example, watch over 9 hours yt vids on wifi on a single full charge with a good battery and efficient SOC on midrangers while getting over 4.5 hours SoT on a flagship makes everyone go gaga about it. What's the use if your phone can't survive a 3hr drive with google maps on mobile data! All functionality is lost.
TheFourthWinchester not only midrangers, but also lower-end smartphones like mine, that only costs $160 can last 9+ hours with a single charge. Good stuff.
I love the collaboration from the both of you. Although I always look on MKBHD when Micheal Fisher was out of the pocketnow but seeing theee two alongside for an informational review does show whose on the top right now. XD
@Mabirc I'm speaking from experience, not being a fanboy. i'm letting you know that when you need your LG G6 the most, to make a call for help. Your phone will fail you and continuosly bootloop until the battery dies. No gps, no calling, no bueno. When you try to contact LG Tech support they will tell you that it is not covered under warranty
Bogdan i havent had bug issues , but i think id settle for them than lag , and its less bloatware on the phone too with lg , due to all the cloned apps , and now the 2 ai's
I bought the Galaxy S8. I LOVE the screen. Everything literally looks "painted" onto the screen which i love. the Samsung apps such as camera, email, messaging, calendar (Touchwiz) have all come a long way since my when I owned the Galaxy S3 for all of a few months. The LG G6 intrigued me for a little while, but it is true that Samsung just knows how to make a phone sexy looking! They always have. The battery for my usage is incredibly insane! Everything Just works the way it should which is nice to know. Also, how Samsung handles Multi-tasking in Nougat 7.0 with the resizeable windows is better for me when multitasking which I do a lot on my phone. I enjoy how the two of you review phones in general and that's why I have always subscribed to your respective channels! Thorough, in-depth honest reviews of smartphones and real world tests!
LG G6 is also 40% cheaper than Samsung S8... There is nothing to think about, LG is a clear win. Yes, Samsung is prettier, but only for few days, until first drop on a ground...
Before even watching the content of this collaboration I know I am going to enjoy this 200%!!! my two favorite reviewers in one 7+ minutes video!!! Go Go Go !!!
you guys are the best tech youtubers to me and your videos are pleasant to watch and seeing you together in one video is like dream came true. thank you guys for all the hard work and I wish you all the best.
Iron man and black panther of youtube are together in this video...lets kill the like button guys...like if u want to see them this comment and reply...👍👌
Absolutely FANTASTIC collab. Debate between two of the tech review dudes I enjoy watching. ...and oh yeah, not that I'd buy either (at least not right now - too much $ for my budget), but I'd probably go with the G6.
I see MKBHD, I click.
I see Mr. Mobile, I click.
I see MKBHD AND Mr. Mobile, I watch it twice.
Tracey Claver SAAAAAAMEEE
Damn right!
I support this.
Tracey Claver same with me
Tracey Claver hell yeah 😆😆😆
One of my top 10 favorite anime crossovers
Justin Thomas Yes.
Who has come back here after LG’s smartphone division died and Mr Mobile and MKBHD made a video on it.
Mr.Mobile & MKBHD: The most honest and straight forward tech reviewers on the Interwebs.
Nech Pech +Dave Lee
Flossy Carter tho
John Appleseed Dave Lee is awesome yeah
Mr. Mobile, MKBHD, Flossy Carter and the Rivera guy ftw. That's all you need to watch. And to think I used to watch The Verge gives me shivers…
mkbhd the most honest gadget reviewer? hahaha give me a break. that dude has been doing commercials for apple, samsung and everyone willing to send him free stuff in exchange for "good reviews". Watching this on my G6 that i got yesterday! I'm really liking it a lot so far.
Joseph Eubank hows the battery life?
TheWowwa It's pretty much average, sadly. Nothing special but it will get you through the day. You will have to charge it in the evening, but it charges very fast.
Watching on my galaxy s8+. I love it so much; very useful. Probably best phone I've ever purchase.
Joseph Eubank listen to the music g6..
How much did you pay for your G6? I'm thinking about getting myself one, but im not sure if it is worth the price.
Michael and LG thanks for mentioning the environmental tests of the LG G6. I work in a testing lab testing industrial products. I've done all of them except salt fog, salt spray, those we send out! G6 in 2018 is obviously better. It is way cheaper, durable, and better at doing things which are important, for me at least.
How much did it cost you??
@@totoakl3330 Bro where I live, I got is in second hand/used. For like 150 dollars. But you can find it online for between 200 to 300 dollars.
Nah,the S8 is better
@Ramification the gorilla glass 5 resist better the whole shattering but it gets scratches everywhere. The gorilla glass 3 resist much better small scratches
I went with the LG G6. The wide angle camera plus the quad-DAC did it for me.
cajieb the quad DAC is certainly very enticing.
I am speaking for myself, not American buyers. On the positive side, US buyers get wireless charging, which we don't get. I have no idea why LG came up with all these convoluted options based on geography.
cajieb Yeah I don't get that either. I understand when it comes to the processors.
I'm still going for the LG even though I live in the UK / Europe that has none of the special features other countries offer 😥
Andrew Skinley UK and Europe is the same thing not need to separate
HOLY CRAP, BEST COLLAB OF THE BEST TECH UA-camRS
Bolt We dont believe you, you need more people!!!
Jouz you're such a sad hater 😂😂😂 he is a great Tech reviewer and he's gonna continue thriving whether you like it or not. 😂😂😂😂😂
Idk why but there is something about the way mr mobile reviews things that I prefer to pretty much any youtuber out there . I'm really glad you've your standalone channel now ! You're the best man great work!
Joe Reaidy I figured out what it is. It's his voice his voice is so amazing.
Wow two of my favorite UA-camrs doing a collab? Good job guys!
Mrmobile is going places, been a fan since his days at Pocketnow. Favorite two tech youtubers united for a great comparison. A+
definitely
Right! I was way more excited to see this then i care to admit lol. Hope these two can work together some more in the future.
Great collaboration video! Love both reviewers! I switch back and forth between Android and Apple every couple of years and now Apple is having its turn with me. I love both OSs because they both have something to offer. If I had to pick S8 or G6, I'd go with the G6. I would buy g6. When it comes to smartphones I prefer to have a "tool" rather than a "jewel"
Τάσος Παραστατίδης s8 must be the first 'jewel' better than a 'tool'
Τάσος Παραστατίδης a tool with last year's processor.
A tool that'll get a bootloop
Τάσος Παραστατίδης you realize both are made of glass, plus the G6 has weaker glass on the front.
Τάσος Παραστατίδης tool? Are you telling me that the Samsung cannot do certain tasks that G6 can?
When you left Pocketnow Mr.Mobile I felt the life in me was tore out I wondered the world helpless intill that golden day that day you returned to Android Central & now your were we always new you'll be ON TOP!! Why did he leave?
Hesham Kisher He didn't leave. It'd better to say: He moved on.
Aziz Nikbin Suppose you're right! Honestly, I was gutted. Glad he's running his own thing now.
haha feels like watching @mkbhd video backwards. great idea for the featuring. hope this become a trend among UA-camrs. I would go for the LG G6 for the camera
Choice to watch MKBHD or Mr Mobile's video first. This was hard.
It was easy for me. I always choose the smaller (for the moment) UA-camr first in times like these.
Then I watch the other one xD
Salis Salman constatin in smart
Salis Salman Mr.Mobile! I like MKBHD too but!
I watch Mr mobile 1st because I have never seen his video before.
Cristian Constantin That's nice. I got the notification for both videos at the same time since I had notifications on for both channels. It was a pleasant surprise. Watching either video would've given me both my favorite tech UA-camrs. But I came here first since the notification for this one was above MKBHD's video (lol)

Jeeeez. Phenominal video Michael!
+Jared Busch thanks man!
I went for none, just watching because of MrMobile MKBHD. However, if I had to pick, would go for G6. Slightly economical, better camera, fingerprint reader, durable.
Chandrakar Brijesh better camera? fuck that,I rather get the S8 because the price is nearly the same, plus why not take the more powerful one.
G6 is way more cheaper than the s8.
both have their flaws, but i prefer the G6 :)
I know everyone has a different taste, but If you like emulation games like Wii and GameCube, definitely the S8,that Snapdragon 835 amazes me.i can now play all my GameCube games on it.and I'm trying out the Wii ones I legally own.

Price kinda tells it here. Be flashy and pay or cut a little and save.
I'd prefer the G6 for at least the ability to tune the microphone for recording and also it's great sound quality with ear buds
The editing is BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"This video was edited on a Samsung Galaxy Note 7" (2:31 you can see smoke while it's recording!)
I love my G6 I got it black I had the v20 and upgraded to the G6 awesome
greenranger2482 what upgrade lmfao😂😂🤣 you call that an upgrade😑
themessiah809 yes alot water resistant wireless charging easy to use one hand n better camera lense overall good phone
greenranger2482 the audio took a huge hit😂
How much SOT do u get on G6?
greenranger2482 I went from V20 to the S8 and man is the audio quality crap by comparison.
Man, MKBHD's argument for the S8 did not convince me, G6 won this one in my opinion
خ
Great collab. Hope you do it again guys
I got the LG G6, cuz I just am not crazy about the Samsung look, the edge-less display, or the lack of 2 cameras. I'm a woman and -thankfully - don't have man hands. 😂 All of the perks of a large screen without being bulky...and no curved sides to deal with.
When you start to binge watch reveiws of the s8, after you have bought it XD
5:47 I like the headphone jack at the bottom, too... but isn't it possible to use USB-C headphones with the port on the bottom? Seems like an okay compromise for those who haven't gone 100% bluetooth.
I have both phone and I like the LG G6 more. The software is less annyoing. GS8 has tons of duplicate services which Android already has. G6 wins for me.
Cubamus Prime you can remove all of those apps though.
Steven Juris not services. App yes.
Cubamus Prime service? With LG you are stuck with everything plus a butt ugly logo on the front and tramp stamps on the back.
Cubamus Prime how is battery life there ? SOT ?
Ahmed Tarek like 5 to 6hr
Went with the LG G6...absolutely love it. Don't even need a case.
I have a case because the glass back is a fingerprint magnet
do the fingerprints really bother you that much? I have the silver one so they're not that noticeable.
Highly noticeable on the black one
Great video you too, and I'm S8 for sure. Galaxy fan since the S1. Never looked back all because of their Super AMOLED displays. Thanks...
Wife went with the g6. after dealing with a horrible antenna nightmare in the gs7. She did not want to go thru that again. she is extremely happy with the g6. The signal is also great, she never loses service like she did with the gs7.
I don't know why that would happen, that's mainly dependent on your carrier, the S7/S7 edge has one of the best modems in any smartphone so far
I have the Galaxy S7 for like a year now, no problem so far.
By the way I had many Samsung phones (and LG, HTC, ...) but I prefer Samsung phones for the quality and the "no problem found" thing.
Jason Curley i had the same issue with the s7 international version. i tried it on tmobile and the signal on the antenna was weak.
Mainstream tech enthusiast versus an in depth tech enthusiast
Jason Booth They're both mainstream. If you want non-mainstream then check out Myproject13 or Mr. JLWilliams. Relife phone reviewers that aren't getting paid by the phone companies.
+John Lincicum Well true, but I would definitely say Mr. Fisher has carved a more niche audience...alot of his followers from his pocket or days before they got as big as they are. Ive followed Jays works. Yeah you have to be very carefully these days with your tech pundants. They'll like whatever they're being paid to like .
Jason Booth Thanks for agreeing with me, I agree with you on Mr. Fisher too. I'm not really a big fan of MKBHD, personally.
I chose the G6.
Davio Kanuri well done you are protected against "salt fog" I bought an S8 so, I am not! Lol
OH THE DUEL
MKBHD VS MR.MOBILE
;in Bane's voice; *Let the games begin*
haha best video ever! unfortunately, I have to go with MKBHD in this one, although LG made a great job, the s8 it's just beatiful and its a beast in specs wise
it was awesome to see the two notifications from you guys channel at the same time lol
Kevin Parker 100% agree with u because i have these two phones.the lg g6 is ok but the s8 is fucking beautiful and more powerful.
Kevin Parker Agreed - great video/collaboration. This will be the debate of the year (at least until the Pixel 2 comes out). I've used Samsung for years, but I would probably go with the G6 if for no other reason than the fingerprint sensor placement. Difficult decision...
Love the collaboration with Mr. Mobile and MKHD.. AWESOME VIDEO!! Great work guys!!
I can finally die in peace.😍
Seeing two of my favourite reviewers doing a collaboration was always my dream.
Marques in 2017: this curve screen is so beautiful and it really minimises the side bezels, it's obviously superior
Marques in 2021: STOP MAKING CURVED SCREENS!!
Mrmobile: makes a comprehensive explanation of things that could even go unnoticed where the G6 outshines the S8, while Marques seems to be more focused on specs
I would have liked to see two different videos across your guys' two channels, rather than the same video twice. It would have been cool if you each took turns arguing pros of the opposing phones over the two videos.
sstream17 They kinda did do that and it's personal preference
The Tony Stark of UA-cam vs MKBHD?
achintya bhavaraju Lol!
Amazing video I also love lg g6.
Mr. Mobile and MkbHD my fingers flew so fast on the notification I didn't know what was happening
HtotheG me too lol
I'll hold on to my OnePlus 3T. While it's not water resistant, the fingerprint home button and dash charge can't be beat.....yet.
Yassss. Holding on to my OnePlus 3, as well. Dash charge has put my powerbank in retirement.
@WellingtonWX Holing out to my moto e3.. while it doesn't have.. well... anything, but that's all I have :D It can only outlast these phones in the battery department I guess
@WellingtonWX won't be holding on to my Apple 4s for long
Ankur Tripathi With the E3 you're also holding on to A LOT OF cash too. I'd say that's a smart choice in itself. I used an E2 for a month as a backup. To this day, I still miss it from time to time.
+Ankur Tripathi 👍👍
@mrmobile you got the best choice in mobile territory ..I used to watch mkhb but your reviews diserve an Oscar ..IAM sure they will include it in the near future ...an entire army will march for Michael..and BTW as a user or a S7 edge I got bored as well since I love the square screens this edge will have another use in the future but for the moment is a pain in the butt ..G6 I ll grab you as soon you get available in Romania. Vietnam already has it ...but I can't control the market . Big fan of clever reviews and your unique style that nobody posses
Officially a Mr. Mobile subscriber... via MKBHD... but there is some dope content here.
I like the G6 I like the LG series I have the LG v20 and I love it and my girlfriend has the lgv30 plus and she loves it 2.
U two guys are my favourite tech reviewers .watching both videos side by side .perfect collaboration!!!!
Price is the biggest factor so G6 clearly takes it for 170.
S8 just has better specs thougg.
LG G6 all the way. (y)
Two of the best reviewers together! Well done.
I just saw this in my dream that you both collab for a video and it just happened, like what? Seriously? Two of the finest youtubers together.
Hoping for many more videos to come by you two together sir.
I'm going to grab the G6 in August!
Super pumped! 😀
I love it that guys colabed. Your both are some of my favs.
I'd choose the G6 partly because the S8's price is unjustifiable.
that moment when u realise that michael fisher is the best youtube tech reviewier !
nawfal Aboulkamal you haven't Watched XEETECHCARE
no. it's Flossy Carter
Somya Gupta who? He can't even speak properly
MKBHD= BETTER
Definitely
Very cool video gentlemen. Thoroughly enjoyed the concept!
I bought the lg g6
Amine Algérien Amazing......... I can easily go through a day and a half without charging while it's running high res/performance apps..... It charges very very quickly, even if you're using it while charging....... I'm really happy with my choice, and there are a lot more to explain and if I start I won't shut up for a while😂😜😂😜😂😜😂😜😂
Vishwa Ganesh how much
The POWER It currently ranges from 300 - 500 depending on where u buy it
R u still using it .. how is it ... My g6 is way slower and hanging often
@@naveenkrishnamoorthy4757 I bought mine like 3months ago and I have never looked back. Especially with the Oreo update
Whichever of these phones you choose, buy a protective case.
To go raw dog with a glass front-back phone is just an invite to disaster. Also, those curved screen replacements are not cheap.
Awesome video guys, good to see you teaming up :)
That LG wallpaper tv 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 #Dopetech
Ayudh Kumar Gupta its not yet released in india ....8000$ usd
Good stuff.
TheFourthWinchester Just out of curiousity, what is your phone? I'm curious to know
Your comments need to go on top!
Two of my favorite reviewers!!! this was
awesome!!
Read the title and me like “Whoaahh SHIEAT!”
That G6 shot at the end was sick!
I love the collaboration from the both of you. Although I always look on MKBHD when Micheal Fisher was out of the pocketnow but seeing theee two alongside for an informational review does show whose on the top right now. XD
I chose G6. Been incredibly happy.
wait till you get that well known bootloop issue plaguing lg devices
bioroid09
Well better than getting Samsungs terribly laggy Touchwiz after half a year of usage.
@Mabirc I'm speaking from experience, not being a fanboy. i'm letting you know that when you need your LG G6 the most, to make a call for help. Your phone will fail you and continuosly bootloop until the battery dies. No gps, no calling, no bueno. When you try to contact LG Tech support they will tell you that it is not covered under warranty
i hate samsungs ui , and its clone apps for stuff , like samsung apps instead of google play store , and the boot loop issue should be gone for the g6
Bogdan i havent had bug issues , but i think id settle for them than lag , and its less bloatware on the phone too with lg , due to all the cloned apps , and now the 2 ai's
best reviewers
Its very good to make videos like this with other tech reviewers. Please keep doing it :)) Thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
undoubtedly LG G6💞💖
If am I watching it again. The footage is the same
Oh yeah, I'm in love with MrMobile
If I were one of you guys I would go for the Samsung Galaxy s8
MrBacon _7 but your not...
LG G6 is also 40% cheaper than Samsung S8...
There is nothing to think about, LG is a clear win.
Yes, Samsung is prettier, but only for few days, until first drop on a ground...
Sergey Faynitskiy then why haven't i seen a lg g6 or almost no lg in my life on the street
Is full of people with s8 including me
Cristiano Sabian ikr
@@cristianosabian2602 lg phone is dying in the market

Before even watching the content of this collaboration I know I am going to enjoy this 200%!!! my two favorite reviewers in one 7+ minutes video!!! Go Go Go !!!
2:28: Nice mug! haha.
LG G6 rooting for it all day👍
I love this comparison! You two did an amazing job! Keep up the amazing work!
OMG That fuckin intro!
You guys should do this for the Note 8 and V30. Like if you agree
Please do these types of reviews more often. You and MKBHD are two of the best in tech reviews.
The LG G6 is amazing
Hussien Almossawy In my opinion, the phone for the everyday man.
yeah..and best feature is camera and non edged display..

G6! I'll skip this one!😨
Quickscope Link you mean you skip the s8?
Great video as usual Mr. Mobile! 👏👏👏
G6. He had no counterargument to the camera.
Who else wants to see Mr. Mobile and Flossy Carter comparison?
Craig Wong ...#Salute
Its ya boy floss, comin back wit another video
I think flossy is garbage
you guys are the best tech youtubers to me and your videos are pleasant to watch and seeing you together in one video is like dream came true.
thank you guys for all the hard work and I wish you all the best.
Iron man and black panther of youtube are together in this video...lets kill the like button guys...like if u want to see them this comment and reply...👍👌
Abhishek Mishra "kill the like button guys" you must watch some fucking cancer UA-cam channels to hear phrases like that used. Cringe as fuck.
Christopher O'Grady you must be so much fun at parties
Syed ARAF Hossain alright do better than that indian i wanna see your magic.
RyanTheRahul fine lets go:
Syed ARAF Hossain killing like button is better than killing people with bombs..😒
I'm leaning towards the G6 because here in India, it costs 20% less than the S8.
Sidhant Garg still s8 is way better because even s7 & s7edge are better than g6LOL 😂😂😂
Um, did you watch the video?
I just ordered the LG G6 this morning, and I am really looking forward to getting it.
Samsung Galax S8 Cool.!!!
excuses that aren't really excuses of buying that gorgeous S8 or S8+ R3KT hahhahaha
Absolutely FANTASTIC collab. Debate between two of the tech review dudes I enjoy watching. ...and oh yeah, not that I'd buy either (at least not right now - too much $ for my budget), but I'd probably go with the G6.
s8 is quite more attractive but i want a beautiful device and quite rugged..so i would go for the G6..not into the Edge thingy for daily usage.
