When she went back to the UK for the queens funeral, and accepted condolences on behalf of the family…right after trashing everyone in the interview with The Cut, what a low point for her.

I know what you mean, and feel the same way. All her lies, her blaming everyone but herself, her whining, her self-aggrandizing, her preaching about kindness while she "markled" the whole family by pretending they don't exist and she was an only child, her being extremely unforgiving towards her ailing father, and all the attention seeking turned me from a cheerer to someone who is rather disgusted with this person and her husband. And her walking around in "mourning" after having repeatedly trashed the RF and turning down two invites from the Queen just before she died are so hypocritical that I can't even have a name for it.

When I saw her being walked down the aisle by King Charles, her veil with the common wealths embroidered in it, oh my heart was cheering her on. But I watched that interview with oprah…and I all the accusations and no proof, and calling out Kate Middleton and bringing up Kate’s business, I saw those (now obvious) traits. Everyone throws around “narcissism” to generalize all the negative traits she’s showing. Meghan reminds me so much of my Live-Laugh-Love sister who sooo wants to not be basic. The most interesting thing she has ever done is marry and have kids with a man who was born in Korea and raised in the US. She never lets an opportunity pass to tell everyone about how a love like theirs “couldn’t have existed 50 years ago”. It’s so exhausting to be around her. Just be basic! You know how when they make a puppet look almost human that it falls into the "uncanny valley" and just disturbs you at the root of your soul? That's how Meghan's personality (and this video) appears to me. I was going to write something similar…there is something off about her. I liked her at first. Then as time went on, she came across so phony and odd. And then the lies started. I started disliking Harry, too, but after reading some quotes her PR firm put out criticizing Harry, well she’s turning on him now! I might be gaining sympathy for him one day, especially if it plays out how it’s seeming.

I used to love Meghan. Overlooked her inviting none of her extended black family to her wedding; overlooked her only being in close contact with one relative and being largely estranged from both sides of her family; majorly side eyed how her husband suddenly became estranged from everyone in his family, in short order. I never understand what the heck she is talking about. When she first talks about helping people in the "industry", what industry is she talking about? Then she says that it is "perfectly normal to be a multifaceted human being", I wasn't aware that someone has said that it isn't. What exactly does that refer to? I'm not American and I'm not Black so maybe she sometimes talks about things that I don't have experience of. But I AM a woman, and she has never said anything about women that I could identify with. I had a similar experience growing up with my mother and always found it very hard to describe , drove me insane, where would I start, then years later my teenage daughter told me a joke about a ‘gaslighter’ , I did not know that word, but once I did, then I realised that this was what my mother was and I found peace because I could sum her up in that one word.

As a photographer these shots, and the one so badly photoshopped for the front cover are atrocious. I have no idea how much the photographer was paid but it was too much. Have you spoken to anybody that is worked in entertainment? They often don’t have the time or desire to consume as much of it. Especially because they watch it and critique it from a work aspect v enjoyment one, even subconsciously. Even fewer of them watch anything they’ve ever worked on until huge time laps pass so they don’t just think about that day was like filming or recording. I think the most binging consumption we get is when my boyfriend’s “for your consideration” dvds come in to grade for awards or when flying. Whatever reason, it’s far easier for them to consume podcasts and audiobooks, especially in gaps on set.
Meghan is spoiled little girl who is so used to getting everything she wants in life that the moment a slight inconvenience comes her way, she bursts into tears and breaks up a family. This is the “strong independent woman” who young women are being taught to idolise. So sad.
