- This video shows you how you can plan a thrilling route on your Rider 410/400 or 40 device. Your Rider will take into account hilly and winding roads to make your journey as scenic as possible for a thrilling ride.
I don't want to add stops (or way points) by tapping the map, I want the option to enter post codes or place names, like I normally would when setting a destination. I just tried to plan an 80 mile route home via some villages and had to give up because tapping the map meant I had to find the villages on the map. It would be much easier if I could just enter the place names.
The best Sat nav they say?? Why then when I’m planning a ‘thrill’ route can I not use town names or postcodes as part of my trip, as opposed to trying to zoom in and out of a map that is no where near as easy as google maps. Same your money and use your phone!
There's a difference between thrilling and scenic. It's a nice idea, just in practice I find it takes you down very narrow, gravel/mud covered country lanes. It would be nice to see an option that does this twisty route but keep the route to more main 'A' roads with a higher 60 mph speed limit. They clearly have that information already built in.
Hi have a tt rider 400 it's so bad. The only thrill I will get will be binning it.
Lean into a corner, and the orientation flips to portrait, so lock it in landscape mode unless you want to be seriously annoyed
I own a 450, and the down side of the first methode is : you can't share it with another TT rider over bluetooth.because it is a route and not a track!
something to work on TOMTOM !!
this is best thing!!
ich versteh kein wort, gibt es auch ne aleitung auf deutsch? kann mit dem ding nur von a nch b fahren. keine schöne ruten bisher nur scheidreck :-(
I hate my rider 550
I hate my rider 50 as an off-road rider it is useless. Not iOS compatible and the Bluetooth won’t stay connected long enough to transfer gpx files. How they stay in business is beyond me. If you are planning to ride the TET or ACT trails do not buy this unit.
