Im ashamed to say that after a week wearing law enforcement officer uniform, I tend to be ultra relaxed at home and certainly don’t look this glamorous. However, when I do go out at the weekend, these are great low key outfits, thank you!
I went into Banana Republic for a quick button-loop repair (they have free onsite tailoring for their items) and ended up buying a beautiful red coat in 100% wool boucle, with a breathable lining, which is so important to me. With the BF discounts and a bonus note, I got it for the incredible price of $210. I already have high-quality long winter coats in the all neutrals I need, so at that price, I could splurge on a colored one. I just had to get the red fit and flare knit dress, too! This rayon dress is not only breathable and comfortable for all seasons, but is one of the most flattering dresses I ever tried on. It’s knee-length with a square neckline and long sleeves and it makes even my thicker waist look tiny. BR has just been stomping all the competition this year, with their great styles and natural fibers (some items, anyway). Not their Factory store, though, they use cheaper fabrics, polyester linings, etc).

I’ve moved to a warmer climate and haven’t worn sweaters in a while. We just had a brief cold snap and this was inspiring to help me pull out my warmer classics. Thank you!❤️

I didn't realize how much I was missing out on until I started watching your videos over a year ago. I've completely revamped my wardrobe, getting out of track suits and flip flops and into WHITES, I never wore white clothes, and I had no idea what I was missing!
Now, my new wardrobe is filled with white, especially around my face, as you suggested. It's incredibly uplifting, and as you said, the white reflects light up onto the face, creating a glow! I've also moved into more form fitting clothes, instead of baggy clothes, which was a challenge, because clothing sizes vary, and finding the perfect fit is challenging, which is why baggy clothes are so easy, but NO MORE for me!
It's been a fun ride with you, trying all new things and creating a new wardrobe, and I'm incredibly grateful to you for all of the videos you've produced to inspire us over 50 ladies to BE OUR BEST SELVES!!! Love you, and God Bless!
“Frumpy cart.” You are hilarious! I’m glad that sweater sets or twin sets as they were called in the US a long time ago, are back in style. I’ve always thought of them as a more relaxed replacement for a blazer.
I wear vests, or gillets as you call them, indoors all the time. Glad I am not alone! Thanks for the ideas.
Really nice ideas and, may I say, you’re looking fabulous! I would wear all of these except jeans (in the house) as I prefer stretchy, fleece-lined, close fitting trousers that are like somewhere between leggings and trousers and nice and thick for winter. And fleece socks & slippers :)

I’m new to the community, and am glad I discovered you. I was looking for something for women over 50 who don’t want to look frumpy. Thank you for all the great ideas. I have to be honest, these outfits are more of what I would wear out and about vs. at home. I’m much more casual (American culture?).
My go to day-to-day is a pair of jeans and a sweater. I vary boots with flats depending on the time of year. Loved the video. As always, thanks for the ideas!

Great outfit suggestions. I have been loving my lounge sets from Talbots- " HAVEN " collection. The sets are comfy enough for home but elevated enough to wear out for errands and appointments. TFS and have a great week!😊💕

The matching sweater and cardigan used to be called a “Twin Set”, I seen them go in and out of style since the 80s. I like wearing a short, fitted cotton cardigan as a top, so I’ll check out Boden’s.

Hi, I'm in love with your red cardigan wow 😂 I don't know about anyone else, but I try and plan my daily outfit just after my cup of tea in bed! Mainly jeans and a jumper this time of the year. I have many different styles of jeans and today I opted for my straight cut magic jeans which are very long, in grey, with black ankle boots and a longer length grey and cream roll neck top. How I wish I'd had your cardigan in red with my red loafers!
I live mostly in jeans, dark denim, grey, black, with matching jumpers to each jean

I seriously need to up my game at home!I i wear trackies ( fleecy) and jumpers/tee shirts, slippers, hair like Boris Johnson usually, if i can be bothered to do it if i'm not going anywhere! I wouldn't wear jeans and shoes about the house though. You wouldn't recognise me when i scrub up though lol!

I walk in the door and my shoes come off. In the summer slipper slides and in winter I wear cosy slippers. So, no shoes for me indoors.
I’m with you. I don’t wear “real” shoes indoors either.

I don't ever wear jeans. In cool weather I either wear the fleece lined leggings or Land's End stretch cords. I live in these comfortable cords all winter. And they come in extended sizes as well

I use to wear relaxed jersey trousers ( black, medium or light blue) with straight legs and elastic waist ( as I have "no waist" left, it's most comfortable, and a sweater and cardigan - depends on the heat...just the normal one or the very warm one from the wood stove. BUT: I'm a fine artist, ceramics and painting, working in my studio is messy 😂, so please don't ask, what I'm wearing then. 😉 Hello from Northern Germany/Danish border. We use to have same weather as the northern part of England.

When I stay indoors during this cold weather I'm usually wearing knit yoga pants, a long sleeve tee shirt and either a cardigan or pullover sweater. For my feet I like my organic cotton socks from Zkano. They are warm, soft, comfy, durable and come in many styles, patterns and solid colors. (I don't work for this company but their socks are so great they deserve a shout out!)

Love the outfits. My at home outfits are far more relaxed than what you’ve modeled in this video. 😅 I usually wear cami tops (never a bra), cut off jeans and comfy socks around the house.
I would mimic one of your examples with jeans or leggings if I were entertaining guests … and yes, I’d put on a bra 😅
