We did have a it a bit far from the door area but it does seem to pick up vehicles and people for the most part. I do wish I could set the post recording to more than 30 seconds though.
That's a tough one without making it massive for a full night run and then able to catch up during the day for 24/7 events. I noticed TPLink recently removed it in their battery cameras due to this issue.
Yup. Nature of the beast with sleeping cameras. They do have the new hub deal that adds local LAN access but I do have to wonder if it will drain the battery with constant hits.
Reolink always do amazing cameras 👌 picture quality is amazing 👏
Thanks Travis.
Waiting for the links to go live. Looks like a good solution for places you can't run wires to.
Should be live now.
How effective is the PIR as far as range? If the unit sleeps waiting for PIR motion, I might think you'll lose some motion.

I was hoping for RTSP 😢
Surely at some point efficiency will be good enough to stream on solar power

@@digiblurDIY I didn't realize tplink had it. Interesting!
Does this support upload clips & images to FTP when triggered?
Yup. Supports all the normal triggers, push notifications, FTP, email, siren, etc that previous models had.
@@digiblurDIY Sweet. Just ordered one thru your referral link.
Thanks!
wow, no RTSP, .. that sucks..
with their home hub works
Why can't we just have rtsp? 😢 Otherwise I really like this camera. The picture looks awesome.
I know! You can use rtsp with the home hub but I have my doubts it would work 24/7
good video but you lost me at "no RTSP"

@@digiblurDIY What is continuous power is connected to the camera, can it stream using Reolink WIN app ? like other Reolink cameras ?
You'd need the local LAN hub thing to do that unless someone reverse engineers that method.
Looks like ET's head, phone home.
Indeed it does!
